Family-friendly holiday rentals in Punta Ala

Incredible trip. Paola and Michele were so friendly and welcoming. Always there to give advice and make sure you had everything you needed. The little converted hay barn was just beautiful and lovely. Location wise it just couldn’t be beaten. The garden was amazing and we ate outside morning and night, easy access to amazing Tuscany countryside and also a short trip on the train to Florence from Montevarchi. Loved every minute we were there and we were sorry to leave. Would highly recommend.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in Glorias Haus. Unser vierbeiniger Freund hat sich in der Natur auch total wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist klein aber fein und hat alles was man braucht. Das Grundstück hat eine schöne Größe und eignet sich perfekt um draußen zu Essen, im Whirlpool zu entspannen oder einfach in der Sonne zu liegen. Der Weg zum Haus ist ein wenig anspruchsvoll, aber mit einem normalen Auto und ein bisschen Fahrpraxis durchaus zu meistern. Gloria war für uns immer erreichbar und hat uns bereits im Vorfeld gute Ausflugstipps für die Gegend gegeben. Auch bei eventuellen Nachfragen hat sie immer sehr schnell reagiert und uns geholfen. Um einfach mal raus zu kommen und die Natur und die Ruhe der Toskana zu genießen, ist es perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We just checked out of this wonderful villa today, and it has truly been one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed. We arrived with my husband’s parents, my husband, and our toddler, and from the moment we got there, everything exceeded our expectations. Alex greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the villa and the property, and provided detailed printed information about nearby restaurants, supermarkets, cafés, bakeries, and wine tours. The property also produces its own wine, which was available for purchase and could be conveniently delivered to our villa during our stay. Alex shared his contact number and made himself available in case we needed anything—which we really appreciated. One of the highlights of the property was the stunning infinity pool overlooking the vineyard and offering breathtaking views. It was the perfect setting to disconnect and truly live in the moment. The air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. Thank you Alex!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Bernardino ! Le paysage est magnifique, l’endroit est très propre et la piscine est un vrai plus pour se détendre. Bernardino est un hôte attentionné, toujours à l’écoute et prêt à aider à tout moment. Merci pour cette belle expérience !

Le logement se trouve dans une grande bâtisse familiale perchée sur une colline et offre une vue splendide sur le paysage toscan. L’intérieur correspond parfaitement aux photos. Nous y trouvons de nombreux bibelots, tableaux, souvenirs de toute sorte qui évoquent les générations qui se sont succédées dans cette belle demeure. La piscine est exceptionnellement grande et parfaite après une journée de découverte. Dommage qu'il n'y a pas la climatisation, mais Antiionetta a mis à disposition 2 ventilateurs bienvenus. La voiture peut être garée dans la cour.

Können wir absolut empfehlen ! Ist alles so wie im Text beschrieben und auf den Foto´s zu sehen. Liegt ca 2 km außerhalb vom total schnuckeligen Örtchen Casole de Elsa. Von Andrea + Barbara gab´s alle nötigen Infos zur Anreise und viele tolle Tipps vor Ort, immer mit den dazugehörigen Links. Zum Beispiel verzögerte sich unsere Anreise verkehrsbedingt auf ca. 22:15 Uhr. War kein Problem, wir standen in Kontakt und als wir ankamen, hat uns Andrea persönlich in Empfang genommen. Und wenn wir während unseres Aufenthaltes eine Frage hatten, kam immer sehr zügig eine Antwort. (Wo man in Siena am Besten parken kann, wie gelangt man am Besten nach Florenz, ...)

这是住过最好的最有特色的民宿，像宫殿一样的房间，四面墙加顶都是湿壁画，叹为观止，设施也非常齐全，最最关键是房东态度很好，入住时帮我们提东西，入住后一直在关心我们，给我们准备了很多水和零食，问候入住的体验感，告诉我们哪里吃东西比较方便也推荐了很多当地比较好的餐厅。强烈推荐！

Absolutely stunning accommodation and views! Very spacious apartment and the pool was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay visiting local restaurants and wine tasting. The accommodation had a lot of amenities and although the hosts were away during our stay, their family looked after us and made us feel welcome. We are already planning to return! Thank you 😀

Hands down our favorite part of our two weeks in Italy! Casa Al Poggio was our Tuscan home away from home. We went and did all the things… Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, etc. But coming “home” to this place was the best. So peaceful and picturesque looking across the valley at the Badia Di Passignano. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen and my husband loved the rustic BBQ. Fresh herbs in the garden and the smell of jasmine blooming on the patio. Book yourself extra time here…you won’t want to leave! Emanuele & Tamara are the kindest people. Take them up on all of their restaurant recommendations. Everyone one was a hit! We can’t wait to go back.

This place is something else! The views, the pool, the houses, the interior - it’s something else. We stayed with our 18 month old and had such a happy time - surrounded by nature in such gorgeous accommodation and a kiddy kitchen / toys which were perfect for Otis. It’s simply beautiful and Martina is so helpful - highly recommend with a family or groups of friends for a zen and unique time. Close to lots of gorgeous places and Martina has wonderful recommendations. Only watch out is the 2km dirt track road to get to the location but it’s 100% worth it and quite fun! Enjoy - we can’t wait to come back :)

We had a wonderful stay at Luca’s and the view cannot be beat! Luca went above expectations by meeting us at checkin to show us where to park and taking our luggage to and from the unit. Hope to stay here again one day!

We come from Hong Kong, and a building like this is not often seen there. We are very happy to have had the chance to stay at the house. Some of the details in the house really impressed us, especially the antique furniture! Pietro is a great host—very friendly and responsive. I had some pleasant conversations with him. Thanks again!

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

Our stay in Montepulciano was amazing in part because of this amazing flat. It was hot when we stayed but the ac was ice cold. The bathrooms and laundry were perfect. The terrace was really nice and even though it was hot when we visited it was nice to sit out with the family and enjoy a glass of wine. We were early but they let us check in a bit earlier than the posted time. We met Orazio at his art gallery and he took us in and showed us around. We were traveling with our 2 teen kids and they shared the second bedroom where there was a sofa bed and a double bed but the room was huge so they didn’t complain about sharing. The town is amazing and we had our nicest meal of the trip at Osteria Del Borgo. Make a reservation it’s worth it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wat een prachtige plek, midden in de natuur, met een zalig zwembad om tot rust te komen. Emiliano is erg gastvrij en heeft een groot hart voor dieren, zelf heeft hij ook honden. Hij hield steeds rekening met onze hond en stemde goed met ons af. Onze hond mocht overal loslopen en werd met veel liefde ontvangen — voor honden echt een vijfsterrenverblijf! 🫶 Je hebt wel een auto nodig om dingen te ondernemen, maar de locatie is ideaal als uitvalsbasis om Toscane te verkennen. Het eerste (honden)vriendelijke strand met parasols, bar en eetgelegenheid ligt op 30 minuten rijden. Andere stranden, mooie stadjes en zelfs een natuurlijke warmwaterbron bereik je binnen 40 tot 90 minuten. Een echte aanrader voor wie houdt van rust, natuur én een hondvriendelijke sfeer!

Wunderschöne Dachwohnung mit traumhafter Terrasse Die Wohnung liegt auf dem Dach und verfügt über eine sehr große Terrasse mit einem herrlichen Blick auf Elba und das Tyrrhenische Meer – ein echtes Highlight. Gastgeberin: Gaia war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ausstattung & Zustand: Die Wohnung ist in einem gepflegten und sehr sauberen Zustand. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen gelungenen Sommerurlaub in Italien benötigt – inklusive Klimaanlage. Lage: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (COOP), das Stadtzentrum, eine Badebucht, Bäckerei und Pizzeria sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Hinweis: Die Nähe zu einer Verkehrsstraße bringt eine gewisse Geräuschkulisse mit sich, die von lärmempfindlicheren Gästen eventuell wahrgenommen wird. Fazit: Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und bedanken uns herzlich bei Gaia.

Wir waren eine Woche bei Aleksandra in Montalcino im Herzen des Brunello, eine atemberaubend schöne Gegend. Das grosse Anwesen ist traumhaft und mit der Ruhe und dem Ausblick genau das richtige um zu entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis für die ganze Familie. So stellt man sich einen Toskanaurlaub vor. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

We had an amazing four weeks staying at Bellagatta, using it as a base to explore Tuscany & surrounds, and it met all our expectations and more. Bellagatta is a positioned on a hilltop with stunning 360 degree panoramic views, more beautiful than the photos. The annexe that we stayed in was exceptionally clean and comfortable and well fitted out. Air con was useful on the first few days of our stay which were very hot. The property is well situated, 10 minute drive into Buonconvento (not quite an easy return walk up the hill!) which was convenient for restaurants & shopping. Gaetano was a most delightful host, very welcoming, & always taking interest in which towns we were travelling to and providing useful tips for our visits. His property manager, Susil, was also readily available and looked after us with anything we needed , even providing fresh eggs, vegetables & olive oil from the property. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le cottage de Clarissa et Antonio qui est situé dans un endroit magnifique et au calme mais proche du centre du village de Radicofani. On peut s’y rendre à pied et l’on y trouve de petits commerces et de bons restaurants. Le cottage est bien équipé, propre et très agréable. Nous avons été accueillis par Sara et Marcello qui sont très avenant et très sympathiques. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions de bienvenue. Le cottage est très bien situé géographiquement pour visiter les principaux villages de Toscane et profiter de magnifiques paysages. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine en fin de séjour ce qui a été très appréciable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir séjourner chez Clarissa et Antonio.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a private, enclosed complex in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside from the terrace. The apartment was very nicely and functionally furnished, very clean and very well equipped with everything one might need for a stay. The accommodation has access to a large swimming pool. There are many interesting places for short trips in the surrounding area. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely want to return soon.

Nadia und Roberto haben uns direkt sehr herzlich empfangen. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und traditionell, man hat wirklich das Toskana Feeling. Wir hatten das Zimmer Olivo und konnte somit direkt vom Schlafzimmer aus in den Garten mit Pool. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es zum Glück auch, somit war es selbst bei extrem heißen Temperaturen sehr angenehm in der Wohnung. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es auch direkt in der Nähe. Man ist in wenigen Gehminuten in der Stadt, was auch ein Riesen Plus ist. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und kommen selbst sehr gerne wieder.

Das Haus ist schön und sehr gross. Es liegt etwas ausserhalb von Buonconvento und bietet absolute Privatsphäre. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig, es gibt Mückennetze über allen Betten und genügend Badezimmer und WCs für alle. Generell ist das Haus sehr gut ausgestattet, sowohl in der Küche als auch sonst. Der Pool ist etwas erhöht, schön, gross, mit natürlichem Schatten rundherum und bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf die umliegende Landschaft. Im riesigen Garten kann man Essen, Verweilen, Spielen... Es gibt sogar einen kleinen Basketball-Court. Aber Achtung: Gleich nebenan gibt es wilde Brombeeren und der Ball kann verloren gehen :) In Buonconvento gibt es einen Coop, eine feine Gelateria und eine gutes Caffé mit den berühmten und feinen Produkten von Le Dolcezze di Nanni. Für eine gute Pizza lohnt sich die Fahrt ins Restaurant Mulinum etwas ausserhalb, sie haben eine eigene Mühle und verarbeiten ihr eigenes Getreide. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Simona hat uns direkt herzlich empfangen und uns alles in Ruhe gezeigt. Das Airbnb liegt wunderschön inmitten der Natur – perfekt, um abzuschalten und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem schönen Haus – alles war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Auch mit unserem Hund haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt, es war absolut hundefreundlich! Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Ein besonderes Highlight war der angebotene Pizzaabend – das war nicht nur super gemütlich, sondern auch kulinarisch ein echtes Erlebnis. Ehrlich gesagt, eine der besten Pizzen, die ich je gegessen habe! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder – absolute Empfehlung! 🌟
