I enjoyed my stay here very much. Location is amazing, Alexis helped me with bus schedules and other things, and the room was private and clean. It is a simple place with everything you need, and the bed is comfortable, and the air conditioning was much appreciated. Great value for the location and I would recommend to stay here.

Amazing location, tons of nature and the hosts were very communicative. The place looks even better than what the photos look like. Location is very cool, and only about a 10 min drive to where you can paddle out at pavones to surf. Awesome experience!

Alvaro, was a nice host. He was very good informed about tours and let us change the date of the szay becouse we arrived a day earlier than expected. The hostel has a very nice view and the kitchen was clean. I can realy recommend it

Surah is a super friendly and friendly person. She was extremely attentive throughout the stay. We were resolved super quickly with some inconveniences or inquiries we had. Extremely flexible and very helpful. The place is super central and I think the best location. The airport is very close (you can even walk), restaurants nearby, beach and pier super close by. An ideal place to stay more if they go to Corcovado. 100% recommended

Christian and his wife provided a very comfortable and enjoyable experience during our stay with them in Drakes Bay. From the Boat pick up to the food and room accommodations, all were beyond our expectations. We would definitely stay at Cabina Yaseth again. Pura Vida!

We are grateful for all the service and friendliness of Mr. Rafael. I help and guide us quickly to look for what to do based on our interests. He put us in touch with guides for tours and was always available to help us with any questions or concerns. The recommendations for places to eat were excellent, we enjoyed a delicious dinner in a restaurant nearby. Everything was quite clean and tidy. The balcony is great for passing the time, seeing the sea or the sunrise. The kitchen is nicely equipped for cooking and is spacious. The bathroom is equally clean, spacious and with good lighting. The beds in the rooms are super comfortable and the air conditioning was luxurious. Highly recommended for tourists or locals who want to live a unique experience and be close to the beach with wonderful views. Also, if you are a nature lover you can find a lot of wildlife in the surroundings like birds and frogs.

Great accommodations! Close to beautiful beach

I can’t say enough great things about this place. The cabin we were in slept 4 of us perfectly. The kitchen was stocked to cook what ever you need. The pool was refreshing after a long day. Andres was able to get us some fresh local TUNA 🍣. Parrots, Macaws, Monkeys are abundant in this area along with many other birds. We day tripped to Matapalo which is a absolutely beautiful area. Watch your drones lol lost mine to CaraCara in Cabo Matapalo . We’re drove to Carate which is the end of the road in the OSA and had a beautiful day in the upper part of the river. It’s wise to know some Spanish in this area as we found there wasn’t many English speakers around. This area is a absolute gem. All dirt roads past Puerto Jimenez and a few river crossings so it’s wise to have a bigger car or 4x4. The beach close to the house is perfect for shallow swims and the water was clear (lots of mangrove around) just an FYI. All I can say is explore this area it’s Paradise. Thanks for the GREAT STAY

The location is great, few doors down to a supermarket and few restaurants. The property is beachfront and private. It’s more worth than what I paid for. Ana is a really nice person and eager to help. I’ll be back!

A wonderful stay! :) Linda is a very gracious and friendly host, she even came to meet me at the bus station! The accommodation was absolutely spotless, really close to the supermarket and the beach, and felt super safe and comfortable. 100% recommend!

Unfortunately, we were only there for a short time, but the place is very cool! View great and very close to the beach, restaurants, etc. Vincent was super nice, helpful and very flexible! We would love to come back anytime!

First we were a bit worried by the previous rather negative reviews, but it was totally fine after all. The couch had been repaired and the pots and pans are new. The place is quite remote and the driveway really long and steep, so we totally recommend to have a good car (ideally 4x4). With the remoteness comes a lot of wildlife - we saw so many birds, two types of monkeys and other animals right next to the perch. We brought good binoculars, which made it even better. Later on we did a jungle tour on the Osa peninsula and we were astounded by how many animals we already had seen on the perch in Pavones. The place is quite small. We looked at the pictures again and they don’t give a wrong impression, but for whatever reason we had expected a bigger place. Not the hosts fault. Looking back on our trip to Costa Rica, our stay at the Bird Perch was definitely a high light!

A wonderful quiet place , the beachfront IS great and so ist the beach. You can walk a long time and you meet nearly nobody. The apartment itself is well equipped and the bathroom has all one needs.

In a nutshell: absolutely recommended. We felt very comfortable from the first second, the house has everything you need to spend a few nice days. Jenny's communication and recommendations were great. And I really liked the layout and the kind of house! You have a great airbnb ❣️

I stayed by myself here and really loved having a room and bathroom to myself. I didn't use the kitchen much (lots of restaurants you can walk to) but it seemed to have adequate appliances. There's not a lot of spices so be sure to bring some if you plan on cooking a lot. I had set up my scuba trip prior to coming here but Alondra helped me organize my boat to Sierpe, which was very helpful. There was an issue with my AC not working one night (seemed to be an electrical issue). And I was given a discount for the night. Alondra and her dad worked very hard to get someone in the next day to fix it. Such great hosts that did their best to help me out. They even got me a big fan for the night without AC. I really didn't mind the situation because I seriously appreciated their care and support. I'm not sure if the walls were thin or if the people next to me were just really loud but maybe bring some earplugs with you. I didn't have any issues with other outside noises. Thanks!

I read many positive reviews before and have to say that all is completely true. Sonia and Gringo waited for us at night to welcome us, they helped us carry the bags to the appartement, Gringo drove us every day with his funny offroad car to our excursions, booked the trips for us, called us when he spotted monkeys or tucans or agoutis in the garden....we really felt like we were part of their family. we highly recommend this nice apartment.
