Great place to enjoy the peaceful Tuscany landscapes

Alex was an exceptional host—welcoming, attentive, and friendly. His property is beautifully maintained, and the room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others. The pool, with its stunning view, was a delightful bonus, especially during the warmer months.

Alex is super friendly, picking us up and dropping us off at the station in Meng, saving us a lot of trouble.The accommodation experience was great👍, the environment was beautiful, it was the best stay experience of our entire trip, highly recommended

The place is very quiet and has a great view. However, you must count 15/20 minutes of gravel road to reach San Quirico (the nearest village). Paolo provided us with a lot of information about the region as well as the cities he advised us to visit depending on the time we stayed. The accommodation allows you to stay longer thanks to the kitchen and outdoor BBQ (in addition to the activities available: swimming pool, ping pong, petanque etc). Small note: plan to have cash to pay the tourist tax (about €2/day/person).

Better than the photos. This place is perfectly positioned away from busy S Geminiano but only 4kms away. Everything was perfect but the thing that stood out the most was Nadia’s and Sandra’s willingness to please our every need. Let’s not forget Ada, the black bundle of joy that welcomed us every day. Impeccable accommodation in a relaxing place to make a stop in a Tuscan tour. We spent the evening on the terrace watching dozens of fireflies in the bottom of the neighboring garden! Magical! Frederico was very considerate from a distance. A great host!

Wonderful farmhouse surrounded by greenery!

Il Sassone is more of a very good hotel than an AirBnB ;-) The location is beautiful on a "mountain" without neighbors. Just to get to/from the property, you drive (by car) about 5 minutes. So to get somewhere else, plan some time. The hotel itself has only 7 rooms. These are well equipped, not insanely modern but also not too outdated. Everything was clean & the rooms were made up every morning. Breakfast is included in the price and very rich (especially for those with a sweet tooth). Everything is freshly baked & prepared by the great kitchen team. For lunch (about 20€ p.P.) there is something light, we got anti pasti & bread with spread. Dinner is always a 4-course menu (about €40-50 p.p. depending on what there is). Everything tasted wonderfully local! The staff are very courteous and polite (by the way, almost everyone speaks German). You can always order drinks, whether your own wine (had the Vino Bianco which was very good), caffé or water. Prices for drinks are moderate & water is covered in a flat rate of €2 for the entire stay. A clear recommendation for all those seeking peace and relaxation.
