Villa holiday rentals in Province of Ogliastra

We spent four wonderful days in Arbatax over Pentecost 2025 and couldn’t have been more satisfied! The accommodation was exactly as described – very clean, well-equipped, and in a beautiful location. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips for trips and sights in the area that really enriched our stay. He was also there every morning to clean the pool and make sure everything was perfect – such great service! We felt truly welcome and well taken care of. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place and would love to come back!

Our stay at Villa Sito was amazing! The location is great for exploring the coast and driving to nearby idillic towns and the villa has everything you need for a family/ friends holiday. I would say that the villa was even better than the photos made it out to be! Frederico, Monica and Elias were extremely friendly and helpful before and throughout our trip, sorting small problems straight away. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great family-friendly, well-kept house with a large garden. We felt extremely comfortable. The hostess was very attentive and provided us with everything from a travel cot, changing utensils to children's toys for our toddler. Communication with the host was very pleasant. Also an absolute recommendation for families with small children.

Raffaella is an amazing host. Loved the welcoming cookies and coffee, loved the appartment and it is a perfect place to spend a few days with family. It is a driving distance to the shore but if you have a car that is not a big deal in autumn months as the beach parkings are empty. A little confusing to get through the locked doors when we first arrived, but Raffaella responded in a matter of seconds even though it was 10pm.

Mario’s place was peaceful and comfortable. The grounds were filled with beautiful olive trees and flowers. The beach is within walking distance and is so clean and pretty. Looking forward to returning already!

We were two families (4 adults and 3 children) for 10 days at Nicola's. The house, the location and the welcome were perfect. In addition to numerous beaches in the immediate vicinity, there are also very good restaurants not far away...the house, the pool and the grill were simply a dream. Thank you for the great time and the delicious Limoncello ;)

We spent 7 days as first guests at the newly renovated villa and enjoyed it very much. The kitchen is well equipped and they provided salt, pepper, spices and dish washing tabs. The air conditioners are brand new and silent. The 5 double beds have quite hard mattresses, however still comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern and stylish. The owner provided 2 sets of keys, beach umbrellas, beach chairs/ towels. There is a beautiful view to the sea from the dining area as well as from the bedrooms upstairs. The owners representative was very responsive and helpful. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The Internet was available but low speed. The rocky beach can be reached by 10 minutes walking and allows snorkeling. The sandy beach can be reached by car in 5min with free parking lots. A small supermarket can be reached in 5 min by car and a nice Italian restaurant is there as well. We enjoyed our vacation and recommend this villa.

One of our favourite and most relaxing holidays ever! Edoardo was helpful and communicated promptly before and during our stay. We loved Calla Gonone, a perfect town for a self catering beach holiday. It was fantastic being right on the sea front and having a view of the beautiful beach and coast. Everything we needed was close by - beaches, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and other shops. We took a boat trip to the beautiful beach at Calla Luna, which should not be missed. The ice cream shop next door sold the most delicious ice cream. The property is above a restaurant which concerned us slightly before we arrived. Edoardo re-assured us that this would not be a problem. It wasn't a problem for us but it could be for someone who wants complete peace and quiet as the restaurant closed at midnight and music played until then. We loved being in a busy part of town watching what was going on while we relaxed, ate dinner etc. The property is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the bed linen and towels are of a high standard. Very nice, modern and large house. It was all very clean. The kitchen is partly a little sparsely furnished but okay. The garden and seating area is rather small, but practical. The location is quiet, on the outskirts of town and close to the sea. Marco is responsive and stationed right across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Wonderful house with priceless view! 3 minutes from Porto Frailis beach, house with all necessary comfort. We will be back!

Was a great stay for a week, the host Donatella and Francesco were super friendly. The house is amazing and was perfect for our group of four people. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had a crazy amount of amenities even a sandwich grill. Definitely a recommendation.

this house is so beautiful, new and clean. It is perfect for group of friends or families. It is close to the Main Street of the town and restaurants. Our hosts are very kind and warm. We had great time here. I would recommend this house for whom want to visit the north Sardegna.

Villa MAJU is a true diamond in the rough— a rare combination of beauty, charm, comfort and personality. Every aspect of the villa and our stay was considered and Julie was extremely responsive and helpful with anything that we may have needed help with. We loved the location almost right on the long and beautiful beach and right on the lagoon. A great beach cafe is a 15-minute walk away. We actually only used the beautiful garden and pool for breakfast together because of our preference for the beach. We had a great week as a group of 5 women.

A beautiful cottage with pool not far from the beach. There was everything you needed. Mini market was in walking distance. Silvia was very friendly and always available. Handyman Salvatore was very friendly and took care of everything without disturbing. The cottage was very secluded and for sightseeing you need a car.

Pina was the most wonderful & friendly host I’ve had! She was so thoughtful and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Her house was amazing, with the most brilliant view, the pool was such a treat & we had everything we needed. We all had such a fabulous time & will absolutely be back!

We had a very nice week at Casa da Maurizio! The accommodation is really fantastic and very well maintained. He was always ready to help us with any questions and had great tips for the surrounding area! Communication was always fast and very friendly. We'd love to come back!

The villa was beautiful and very spacious, the photos don’t do it justice, everything is very clean and well maintained including the pool. Great superking bed! Hosts were very friendly despite the language barrier, they even brought us some home made wine one evening when we were enjoying our dinner on the terrace which was excellent. The wifi is poor so if you are relying on internet/ working from home you will struggle, we had very little signal. Wouldn’t recommend if you are scared/ nervous of dogs, there are 4 chihuahuas, one is very friendly- they didn’t bother us as we are dog lovers but if you’re not a dog lover it’s best to be prepared. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Such a lovely villa in a beautiful location with superb mountain views. We had a brilliant holiday with the whole family. The villa was very well appointed and comfortable, and the outside pool and seating areas were very welcome and well used. The children loved the tortoises and were enchanted by the nightly frog visits and chorus. We were within walking distance of the local restaurant and gelateria with lots of wonderful flavours. The beaches of Costa Rei and Maklas were very close, with soft white sand and crystal clear blue sea. Gian was a great host - really responsive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Villa for the perfect family holiday.
