Le Muricciole, is a beautiful apartment recently restored in an old farmer's house on the sunny hills covered with olive orchards. Table,umbrella,armchairs allow to eat outside. It is at about 5 km from Lucca,medieval town, birth place of the opera composer Puccini. You can hike or bike ride on the river park, go to the seaside,only 20km away. You will like this place for the following reasons: light, intimacy, and peace. It is perfect for families, couples, groups, and people who work.

Throughout the summer, Barga comes alive with many typical food fairs, music festivals and art exhibitions. The house is set within olive groves, fruit trees, and forests, with stunning views all around. The garden is perfect for dining 'al fresco' and enjoy the view and sound of the bells of its majestic cathedral. Barga is only 40 mins from Lucca, 50 from Pisa and 90 from Florence. The house is in the heart of the village of Sant'Andrea di Compito, an ancient village on a hill, which is about 10 km from Lucca. The area is very quiet and relaxing, surrounded by the green countryside; the house for 4 (1850), large garden, is all in stone. from August 2020, a new small swimming pool is available for guests and residents of the unfinished court (NEW POOL!!!). The pool must be used in compliance with the house rules. All water games are absolutely forbidden.
