We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

This was a delightful place to stay. Very private and so many facilities for a small place. Beautiful views, swimming pool and honesty bar. A total hidden gem.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

This place is awesome! Elvio is the best host. Clear instructions and directions (it’s a tricky place to find) but his instructions were perfect. The pool is private and a good home base after lots of hiking. We recommend hiking as early as possible and going back to enjoy the pool later. The restaurant up the mountain from the house is amazing (Calheta Green). And a recommendation from the host. Love this place!

We loved our two weeks at this location. Superb views over the ocean and the surroundings. All we needed in the house was present and clean. Very peaceful neighbourhood (although we were a little unlucky to have roadworks ongoing). Amazing private pool (with an extra bathroom)! Carolina was super friendly and always available for questions. Would love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!!

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

After a smooth and flexible check-in process, we immediately felt comfortable and settled in well. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and tidy as described. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We liked the quiet location, a small supermarket, a bakery and the pizzeria around the corner are highly recommended and easy to reach. Also nearby is another small restaurant within walking distance, which is supposed to be good, but we were not guests there. A little further around the corner, you can enjoy the sunset in May. This is highly recommend. We were also very satisfied with Alfredo. Communication was friendly and helpful. The only thing missing was a vacuum cleaner. If we had stayed a little longer, we would have been happy to soak up the atmosphere. But it also came with a broom :o) - really a small shortcoming. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and will be happy to come back.

We (two couples) had a wonderful week in this beautiful house. The house is a little more spacious than we thought. Nice view. Lovely swimming pool. On this slope, clouds sometimes blocked the sun. You have to take the car for restaurants. Hosts always responded quickly to a message from us. All in all recommended!

We were very satisfied and felt extremely comfortable. The view from the bedroom and balcony is a dream. The house is really big, the kitchen is very well equipped and you have a lot of privacy. Yamila is friendly and always available. We will be happy to come back!

Finding a better host is really hard. The AirBnB is super clean and perfectly equipped. Ana was always there for us with all questions. She also wrote a really great travel guide. If we were to fly back to Madeira, we would not hesitate to take an AirBnB from her.

Nice appartement with a beautiful terrasse. Probably our favorite place to hang out. I. Front of the house, the access to the water was incredible. So close, such clear blue water. Very dreamy. The apartment was well furnished. Kitchen fully equipped with even a blender and juice maker. Everything was comfortable and nice and cozy. Just know that there is a bar downstairs, so you will hear music and people chatting, but the bar is a nice place and we loved it

We loved staying here. The village is extraordinary, with its small sidewalks. The car must remain in a parking lot at the entrance. It's really peaceful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well-equipped. Comfortable beds. Several terrace corners to enjoy the outdoors. The ocean view and sunsets are beautiful. Everything about it is excellent

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, modern Airbnb! The apartment is brand new and stylishly furnished, with everything you could possibly need—especially the fully equipped kitchen, which was a dream to cook in. The highlight was definitely the private whirlpool—perfect for relaxing after a long hiking day. We were warmly welcomed by the property manager, Charlene, who allowed us an early check-in and made sure we felt right at home. Both Charlene and the host, Jose, were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The place is also extremely baby-friendly, with a lovely play corner and even a few thoughtful gifts for our 7-month-old baby. We truly appreciated the sweet welcome gifts for us as well.

This place is very nice! It has a beautiful view, on a quiet street with a lots of privacy. Inside was bigger than we expected and very cosy. It has everything you need and we really felt at home and relaxed. There is a steep but short walk directly to the center, with some good restaurants and a grocery store. Zeza is very responsive, enthusiastic and friendly. If we go back to Madeira, we will come back!

Jardim do Mar is a beautiful and quiet village to stay for several days and a starting point for excursions in the area. The house is spacious and located in a nice street right next to the village square. Restaurants are within walking distance, as well as the boulevard and PR20 walk. The people are friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

We had a lovely stay in Madeira at this property. Lovely facilities throughout the place, with the pizza oven, jacuzzi and the hammock (our favourite) all very nice additions to the property which were thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. We opted not to heat the pool but the temperature was fine to swim in anyway! In terms of location the area is very peaceful and scenic however at the cost of activities often being a slightly further drive. We did not find this to be an issue throughout our stay however! Definitely recommend renting a car if staying here!
