Apartment holiday rentals in Prazeres

We were in good hands in this beautiful apartment. Since private accommodation in a settlement can be done during the day, but as a tourist you are usually on the road anyway. The best equipped kitchen we have seen so far. You think of everything that you don't have to buy everything yourself for a week. Shop and restaurant also within walking distance. Good internet. Hope to see you again!

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. Eva’s place was really lovely! We really appreciated how welcoming the hosts were and helpful throughout our stay. The home was simply superb: beautifully located, quiet and an amazing view (we specially loved all the sunsets we enjoyed through our balcony), with a nice hiking in the neighbourhood and many other ones reachable by car. We would definitely recommend it and be happy to enjoy it in a future visit.

Home away from home. Christians place in Paul do Mar felt immediately like home to us. The apartment is spacious, clean and super comfortable within an amazing location in the super cute village of Paul do Mar. There is plenty of parking closeby, a supermarket to walk to and a great seafood restaurant and snack bar next door. We loved the balcony nestled between mountains, banana fields and the ocean. You can hear the calming sound of the ocean in the apartment and we slept so well. We definitely will choose to come here again and can highly recommend. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely recommend it to everybody! Marta's gave us great advice on what we could do in the eara. When we had any questions she was quick to respond and give some tips. Great place to stay for your holiday!

Very helpful hostess, quiet area away from busy Funchal. Amazing views, spacious apartment, super king size bed. Useful utility area with washing machine and drying area. Good cooking facilities. Enjoyed sitting on the balconies for breakfast and evening meals. Near bus stop and supermarket. We are fit 70yr olds so steep drive and stairs didn’t bother us.

Starting with the view from the window to the Atlantic, to the tranquility that we could find in the apartment - far away from tourism, to the stroll, down many steps, on the promenade, we felt very comfortable in Porto Moniz. Whether coffee or snack bar and restaurant, you could eat well everywhere. Many excursion possibilities and especially hikes are easily accessible. We have found our favorite places, whether culinary or in nature. We would book our apartment again immediately.

Conservas Loft is an absolute dream to stay in. It even exceeded our expectations with it's surrounding beauty at every corner. Andre from Madeira Stays was an absolute pleasure to deal with, so kind and considerate, going the extra mile to help us feel at home. The loft itself is spacious, well equipped and the pool overlooking the Atlantic was the absolute highlight for us. Best sunsets we have ever experienced 😍 💛 We cannot wait to return to Magical Madeira and will definitely stay here again. It's 10 stars out of 5 from us.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The view is truly stunning and the apartment has a beautiful balcony that you can sit and relax on. Apartment is in a good location - close to shops, restaurants and bars plus easy transport routes into Funchal. The rooftop communal pool is an excellent feature and great for a morning swim to start the day. Apartment was clean and had all the amenities that we needed - we appreciated the welcome gifts that were left waiting for us on arrival. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Madeira.

The view from the apartment is spectacular. The area is quiet. However, if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping, it is better to sleep with the window closed. So you don't hear the morning traffic, and neither do the dogs and the rooster in the distant neighborhood. Julie is very helpful and always quick to help when you need something. She had brought pastries and Madeira to welcome them. Please note that the terrace is not connected to the apartment. That is, you have to first get out of the house and then onto the terrace. I was able to park the car comfortably on the property. I will miss the view! I can highly recommend the apartment.

What a lovely place! 😍 We were warmly welcomed by Gabriel, who was always there for us. Communication with Janine was always good. All our questions were answered very quickly. The accommodation was in excellent condition, nothing to complain about. The cats on the estate were very sweet and we were always warmly welcomed by them. 🙂 Gabriel, Janine, thank you! What a magnificant stay! The appartment is perfect! Two terraces so you can enjoy the sun any time of the day you want. Quiet with great ocean view! The kitchen is very well equiped, we cooked our own meal every day and it had everything we needed, even a small dishwasher. Lots of things to do just a short drive away. We slept great in the comfortable bedroom. Airco is also available if necessary. We would definitely want to stay here again. Highly recommended!

We spent three nights here and felt completely comfortable. The location is pleasantly quiet, perfect for relaxing, and the view of the sea from all rooms was breathtaking - especially in the morning at breakfast. The apartment is very clean, modern and well equipped. Everything you need for a pleasant stay was available – from kitchen utensils to bathroom accessories. We were greeted with wine, fresh fruit and sweets - a nice gesture that we were very happy about. Access to the apartment is a bit steep and there are a few steps to overcome, which is not unusual for Madeira and was not a problem for us. Communication with the hosts went smoothly, they were always available for questions. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner of the house in person. She was friendly and showed us everything. We will be happy to come back.

I almost selfishly wanted to give a negative review to keep this gem to myself, but it wouldn't have been fair to the host, who was courteous and proactive, attentive to our needs, and the place is really wonderful. I will definitely return on my next visit to Madeira. Thank you.

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

Great place! We loved the location, the flat had everything we needed, and the host was very kind. Perfect starting point for trips along the coast. We'd love to come back and stay longer next time :)

Nice apartment to stay for a long holiday with beautiful views of Praira Formosa. Infinity pool, ample space, well equipped kitchen and washing machine. Free parking in the apartment's garage. The location was perfect being just outside of Funchal with easy access to ER 101. The apartment sits up on the hill with a short walk to the promenade; you can walk either towards Camara de Lobos or Funchal. Lots of restaurants on the promenade and on Estrada Monumental. There is a supermarket (Continente) just 2-3 blocks down the street from the apartment. The local host met us at the apartment to show us around. The apartment was clean and comfortable coming home after a day of hiking (purchase trail tickets 3E on Simplifica for all the PR# trails). A car is a must if you are going to hike and see Maderia. No Jacuzzi and gym is old and poorly equipped.

This was a beautiful Airbnb with a great patio. Tons of wonderful restaurants were in walking distance. Paulo was a very friendly host and even delivered fresh bread every morning!

If I could, I would give to this accomodation and Patricia way more stars :) The flat is perfect. Great location, ocean view, everything was clean, nice and neat. Also those little, but big, details - dimmable light, extra fluffy blanket (not going to spoil more:) Watching stars while in jacuzzi.. Just awesome :) And Patricia is amazing host. Always quick answer, helpful, proactive, friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much and I will definitely book this place again, if we ever come back :)

Cristina was a wonderful host, always available with helpful tips and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and tidy, furnished, arranged and equipped in the best of taste. Stunning view, very quiet, even if very near to the expressway, and because of that perfect located to get everywhere easy and quick. Restaurants of all kind available within short driving time. Overall - very advisable!
