Family-friendly holiday rentals in Praia da Barra

The apartment is spacious and located in a prime area, just across from the beach. Plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops within walking distance. The host was very responsive and quick to address any questions. Only two sets of bath towels were provided for two guests staying eight nights. An additional set of towels would have been helpful.

The apartment is fantastic and very comfortable. I had to stay in Aveiro for a month for work and the truth is that the apartment was exactly what I needed. Isabel as a host has been impeccable, very good service, and very helpful when I have had a problem.

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Thank you Marta for your warm hospitality and attention to detail.

Beautiful place, stunning views, very yummy breakfast every morning. Carlos is very friendly and helpful. the little cabins are comfortable and perfect for families.

We had a great time with the family at Joao's home. Joao is a very friendly and attentive host. We all really enjoyed the lush garden with its lemon trees and orange trees, while being flowered in every nook and cranny. We all felt a real disconnection when staying at Joao's place. The bedding is excellent and the house has a soul with its decoration and childhood smells. A beautiful beach is 8 min from the house by car and all amenities are 5 mins away. Finally, as you can see, a family stay that we will have a great memory of.

Spent 3 nights here and had a beautiful time. Hot tub was a nice touch for the cold winter days. Carlos was extremely sweet and hospitable. Gave us plenty of information about Sever de Vouga and showed us how to get around. Breakfast was served to us everyday at 9am which was a super nice touch. Great way to start the day. Definitely recommend. I'll be going back for sure!

Perfect location, we had all the comfort we needed In the chale and waking up to all this nature couldn't ask more! Sr Carlos was a true super host!

Manuel was very welcoming and available to answer all our questions 😊 We really enjoyed our stay in his little studio and would recommend it for a solo traveler or a couple. It is also really well situated, in a nice village with easy access to the beach (a minute walk) 🥰

Host was so responsive to all of my messages (both prior to and during my stay) providing me with helpful information for our arrival, checkin and stay.The AirBnB has excellent amenities and I made a lot of use of the kitchen and common space. Very quiet área with amazing landscaping views. Highly recomended

Felipe's apartment is lovely, bright and spacious. As usual Felipe was a very generous host who provided all that was needed to ensure our stay was comfortable. The small courtyard was a bonus! It is close to all restaurants, bars, shops and the canal. Aveiro train station is a short walk away giving access to Porto and other seaside towns.

Family of 9 we spent 3 days at the property. Paddleboard, Visited Barra, Costa Nova fish market, Aveiro and long beach walks. would recommend.

This was easily one of the best places we have found here! The house is so cute and the land and the river around it so peaceful and beautiful! We swam in the river, walked around in the nature finding wild strawberries, enjoyed the space, the privacy, and the quiet. So many extra touches like art materials for the kids, a guitar to play, games, and more. Adelaide was a great host, she took us out to the land and showed us some of the secret spots to hang around in. She was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely love to come back some day!!

Hosts are very helpful and responsive. It is a great location for beach activities, quiet time, and fresh seafood. The charcoal bbq was nice to have for cooking items from the local market. There are a few smaller grocery stores that have most of your needs. Lastly, there is a great bike path that extends the lenth of the penisula and into Aviero. The hosts provided 2 adult bikes.

If I had to find a downside to this stay, it would be the mosquitoes. The rest was all great. The host was super friendly, attentive and recommended many places. The house, in addition to being beautiful and very clean, was also full of things at our disposal. We have been to many accommodations and several different countries, and we have never seen anything as complete and welcoming as this place. I recommend it 100%, the price is a bit expensive but when we arrived I understood that it was totally worth it. our dog also liked it a lot :)

Carla was very kind. We asked if he could supply us three more fluffy pillows and he did it the same day, without bothering us for anything and without putting any objection.
