My friends and I stayed in Stormville for a girls trip. The house is even better than the photos. The property and landscaping are stunning, we loved just staring out at the view with a cup of tea. The kitchen was impressively stocked with lovely teas and all the cooking gear we needed. Check in and communication were effortless. The location while a bit far from groceries (15m drive) was no more than 15-30m from lots of activities, small towns and hiking trails. We also loved how accessible it was from Metro North as we were coming from the city for just a short trip. It was very easy to get to and we all couldn't stop talking about how we hoped to return. Highly recommend!

Truly one of a kind property. Relaxing, calm, extremely responsive and helpful host. If you are looking to get out of the city or just need some time away to think, look no further. 10/10.

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Little Owl Teahouse. It’s a cozy and well-outfitted cabin with a super comfy bed and a great leather reading chair. Drank lots of the delicious mountain well water. Made breakfast in kitchen — love the pans and electric cooktop. Short drive to Woodstock for dinner. And oh the beauty of the surroundings - scenic views everywhere. Our two little doggies were happy to romp in the fenced in yard. Little too chilly when we were there but pool looks so appealing. Lisa is a proactive and super responsive host.

We had a great stay at Nathan’s place. The playroom was great for our kids and we all enjoyed the pool. The view was also beautiful. We will definitely be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

This house absolutely reminded me of home and my childhood ! So lovely and clean. Absolutely love the heated pool ! This was the perfect house for our wedding at the Mohonk mountain house . Close and such a comfortable stay . We really enjoyed the outdoor porch sitting room . Thank you for a comfortable and wonderful stay .

We had a great stay at Tiffany’s place! Everything was exactly as described and she was great at communicating throughout the stay.

Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

This was a few nights getaway with my two adult daughters. The house is adorable, neat and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Felt right at home. We did a little kayaking on the lake, which was beautiful. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we made the best of it and enjoyed each other’s company. The neighborhood was very quaint. We took a walk around the lake. Nicole was very responsive whenever I messaged her. We felt very comfortable being there. I would highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Olga’s! The design throughout the space is beautiful, and staying on the second floor feels like floating among the trees. It’s also wonderfully private, with great food spots nearby that make the location super convenient.

Beautiful place, we loved the hot tub, the fire pit the gorgeous bedroom and fully stocked kitchen. A dream to cook and hang out in. This is a place you want to stay in and not leave. Internet and wifi was excellent. Communication was great. The projector system didn't work at all and we did get some help, and when they weren't able to help they offered us a free night stay if we wanted to stay another day. However, please stop with the AI responses they are not helpful and just make it feel less responsive once you realize it's not a human. Cons were just that the sofa isn't very comfy or loungeable, but that's really it. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This house had everything we could ask for: it was clean and comfortable, with plenty of outdoor space. We enjoyed walking on the trail near the house and driving to New Paltz only took a few minutes. We would definitely recommend!

The gatehouse was absolutely beautiful. The design is thoughtful and cozy. The location being right next to the Vanderbilt estate made it super easy to take morning walks on the grounds, which we enjoyed very much. Easy access to the gems of upstate NY!

Bruce was a superlative host. Communicative and flexible, and we were greeted with a thoughtful (and abundant) welcome basket. The house clearly has been updated recently and is maintained immaculately yet comfortably. It did feel like there were a lot of rules -- but having spoken with Bruce, they were eminently understandable; I only mention it because if you're someone who's not good with following directions and/or honoring rules, it might not be the most favorable conditions for a good guest-host outcome, but IMHO that would be the guest's loss. We felt it was good value. Really nice front porch conducive to lounging. Details attended to well also, such as large, absorbent bath towels. Wish all hosts had their acts together like Bruce and a comportment like him.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Claudia’s place. We were in Poughkeepsie for our daughter’s graduation from Marist University. It was a great location to get back and forth while packing her apartment and attending graduation. Claudia’s restaurant recommendations were excellent and we really enjoyed the food at Lolita’s and the fact it was walkable. We also enjoyed the walkway over the Hudson. I’m not sure when I will be back in Poughkeepsie but I would definitely stay here again. My one regret is I didn’t find Claudia’s place 3 years ago!❤️

Great home very close to Vassar. Walkable, safe , clean. Easy to check in. Very responsive host. Will plan to stay here again!

A beautiful, comfortable house right on the Hudson with stunning views. We loved watching all the life on the river, herons and loons and ducks, as well as boats from tiny crafts to massive barges. There are great hikes just a short distance away. It is a perfect place to rest, write, draw, and make music.

Lau-Rene was a great host and very friendly! She answered all my questions before arriving and helped out with a couple of things once we got there! The house was in a great location for Vassar related activities, beautiful neighborhood. I would stay there again!

Maria's home was charming, spotless, beautifully furnished, well-located for visiting our Vassar kiddo, and super comfortable. Maria was friendly and responsive always. The roomy living room, screen porch, and back yard were lovely to relax in. If we had to find anything imperfect, the bathroom is showing its age somewhat, with a not-new paint job and some rusting on the sconces and radiator... but it was squeaky clean, and the shower has fantastic water pressure. And Maria left us plenty of fluffy towels. Overall it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. We would happily return.

We had a wonderful stay at Zahra’s home. The home was just as described and was the perfect cozy sanctuary we needed. Nicely located and close to all . Appointed with all one could want for a month long stay. Zahra is truly a five star host and went well above, with quick responses and furnishing us with a tree for the holidays. Can’t recommend enough if you’re planning a trip to the Hudson Valley area.
