We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s home! The space is full of charm and personality, with beautiful decor throughout. Karen went above and beyond—she left a thoughtful note, local recommendations, snacks, light breakfast options, and lots of coffee choices with creamer. The outdoor space was peaceful and relaxing, and the neighborhood is perfect for walking and exploring the historic town. Some suggestions: -Fish & Slips – A scenic walk, great food, and happy hour. -The Bier Garden – Family-owned, excellent food, and a beautiful garden. -The Coffee Shoppe – Great coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Highly recommend taking the ferry into Norfolk for the day. We’re so glad we spent a weekend in Portsmouth and have already recommended the trip to others!

Family vacation for almost a week and everyone loved it! We definitely recommend families to come to the Blue Octopus for their next visit to Ocean View-Willoughby Spit. Friendly, clean and with all the amenities for the whole family.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! There were 4 of us but it was very comfortable and didn't feel overcrowded. It's not a big house but everything is placed well and so thought out! It was also very clean which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Tawanda was a great host. Everything was as advertised. She even went the extra mile and bought brand new kitchen utensils, cutting boards and a new cookie sheet for our stay. Very kid and pet friendly home! The home was even ready for us earlier than expected.

Sarah’s Portsmouth home exceeded our expectations. Coming from Phoenix, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to unwind with family and this home delivered. It was clean, cozy, and full of charm. Mornings were especially memorable with coffee on the deck while birdwatching and enjoying the quiet surroundings. 5 Stars – A Truly Magical Stay! This home was an absolute gem! The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making everything from check-in to check-out seamless. The yard was stunning—bursting with colorful flowers, wildlife, and peaceful lake views that made it feel like a private retreat. Inside, the house was spotless, thoughtfully organized, and stocked with everything one could possibly need to feel completely at home. The décor was absolutely beautiful, with an eye for detail that created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would return in a heartbeat—highly recommend!

I come home every year to visit with my family members. I will no longer be staying in those hotels on Mercury Blvd. Conveniently located. Everything you need for cooking in the cabinets. Coffee on deck. Beds were very comfortable. Laundry room was good. Air conditioning was on point. I love hot water awesome. See you in August.

Seamless, easy, clean. The location was perfect for us with easy access to the beach and major roads. Our stay here was amazing and simple.

We loved this space! We stayed the night for a concert in the area and were able to walk to and from the venue which was awesome! We got to the space and everything was very nice and felt like home! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Incredible place to stay at! Only 30 minute drive from VA beach. This is a nice, private and peaceful place at stay. 10/10 I highly recommend. Kati and Robert were fantastic hosts, who were both incredibly helpful and quick to respond if we had any questions.

My husband and I visited Steff's AirBnB on our Honeymoon and were beyond pleased! She provided so much for her guests, including eggs and bacon for breakfast!! Her space was so clean and welcoming. It was the perfect, quiet spot for us. I found the bed to be a little too firm for my personal taste, but I still got a decent enough night sleep and I will absolutely be back if we come down to Williamsburg again. The backyard was so adorable and peaceful! I only wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the fire pit and smores kit!! Thank you Steff for having us!

Crystal's condo was spotless and an easy place to stay. Crystal was very proactive and made us feel welcome. her dinner suggestions were superb too! perfect for a weekend getaway in a resort atmosphere. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at one of Rebecca and Sean’s VA Beach condos — and the experience did not disappoint! This is just a perfect location, at the very end of the Boardwalk, with a private grassy lawn and outdoor seating just for the condo residents. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding blocks. Our favorite thing is the view — you look right out onto the ocean from the patio, and you can see the beach and the sunrise from the comfortable bed each morning. We spent unhurried hours sitting on the patio in the evenings enjoying the sound of lapping waves and the night sky. This cozy studio was just right for the two of us. Highly recommend. I’ve no doubt we’ll stay there again in the future!

Nickie's place was excellent for our family of 4 adults and 1 toddler. It had all of the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay.

Great property and location along with responsive host.

The condo was very clean with all necessary essentials. We loved sitting on the porch watching the wildlife, especially the numerous ospreys. It is centrally located, only a short drive to historic Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. Plan for about a day at each to fully enjoy everything. The grounds of the resort are lovely and a great place to walk or ride bikes. Rodica was very easy to communicate with and was most helpful with all checking instructions, especially with our late arrival. We would definitely like to return.

Dr. Chen was very friendly and responsive! The location is ideal as it is a short walk to several amazing restaurants and attractions but private enough you feel safe. The neighborhood is peaceful and easy to navigate, would highly recommend staying here!
