It has a good location and comfortable beds. Very Clean and well-organized, and Everything is functional. It was a pleasant stay for us, and I would recommend it.

We wanted to find a place that wasn’t too far from home but would still be a little escape to take our boys to every year. This was our second year staying at this house. We could probably go later in the summer when it’s warmer and have more to do, but we like to go in the spring time. It’s secluded but not far from town or stores. Very private. Loved the paddle boat! We look forward to staying again next year!

Peaceful, well stocked with everything you need and neat ! Loved it here! Between the hot tub and the fire pit ! We loved the outdoor space as well as the very neat interior. Would forsure stay here again !!!

I hate to give a such a glowing review because I don’t want to generate more competition to rent it in the future, but this venue was wonderful. We stayed this location for OU Mom’s Weekend & it was a fantastic choice! It was the perfect place to relax, connect and unwind when we weren’t in Athens. It had absolutely everything we could have wanted. It was a convenient Uber ride away & perfect for a group of moms. If you want a sweet place tucked away from the hustle with some cool country amenities, then this is the rental for you. It looks like they’re in the process of making improvements, but honestly the imperfections were part of its charm. Highly recommended!

Was very peaceful and enjoyed very much! The kids had space to play ! And being by the fire pit and just relaxing was the best!

Highly recommend this place! Could not have had a more positive experience. We were able to dock our boat and park our trailer. The house accommodated us perfectly and was stocked with more than just the necessities. If you are boating, it is located right next to a great swimming area and the dock is very nice! Will be back!

Wonderful, wonderful host. I was in West Virginia to scatter my amazing Mom's ashes, and this space had plenty of room for family to gather, remember, mourn, and laugh about our shared love for my Mom. Thanks, Talisha - you provided a beautiful, peaceful spot for a very, very difficult time.

Kitchie Kottage was very clean and comfortable. Attention to detail was very obvious. Anthony was a great host. Easy to reach and very helpful. He enjoys what he does and it shows. Definitely will book again.

Jennifer’s cottage was a comfortable, peaceful and beautiful place , I loved the farm atmosphere, the beautiful view and the animals. The cottage was super accommodating, literally had everything I needed and more ! And opening the fridge to see fresh farm eggs ready to be cooked and eaten was a plus. The cottage was pristine, smelled great and very well maintained. It was a perfect weekend getaway for me and I loved every second of it , I will definitely be booking again in the future , the owners were super polite the goats and little horses were amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

Cozy stay in a beautiful part of the state with the perfect set up for a get away from the rest of busy life! Loved ending each day of our trip relaxing in the hottub and watching the cows come in from the fields.

We were a group of 4 traveling in the area for a local event. The cabin was just the right size for us when we had down time from the event. The living space was just right for us to chat about the day and relax. The cabin was tidy and décor suited the theme of a lakeside cabin. Although we didn't have the chance to use all the amenities like the hot tub or enjoy the deck due to our schedule and the weather it was well laid out for a place to rest, tell stories, and relax after several busy days. It was nice not having a TV in the living area as it certainly encouraged us to tell stories and laugh about adventures we've had in the past. We didn't put the kitchen to much use but is was the right size if we needed to make some meals. The laundry and showers were certainly handy. It was easy to find the property due to the red canoe that served as the street address marker, Jeff & Connie instructions on how to access the lock and house instructions were clear on arrival & departure.

My boyfriend and I came out to Martin’s cabin for the weekend to celebrate his birthday, and we had such an incredible time. We wanted to find a place that gave us the ability to get off the grid and decompress, and that’s exactly what we experienced. The property and cabin were so peaceful and beautiful, and we enjoyed every second. Martin was a great host, extremely responsive and kind to any questions or concerns. If you are looking for a place to come to enjoy nature, clear your mind, and have fun in a cozy cabin, this is the place to come. We will most definitely be coming back in the future.

I stayed at Liberty Retreat with my husband for our honeymoon. Safe to say it was a beautiful time. My husband said "you did good babe" after arriving and settling in. We enjoyed the beauty and quiet of the place. We also ended up doing the full trail at the top of the property. The overlook was especially beautiful and there was a picnic table with a built in checker board that we enjoyed. If you do go on the hike through the trail, plan for at least 2 hours if walking leisurely and cover up because ticks do come out in warmer weather. But that's just part of nature. The set up in the cottage was also very welcoming! The porch and outside shower was a hit for us. It's definitely great for a cozy romantic getaway. They do also offer hunting options so you can ask about that!
