Destaque também para o Vinho do Porto servido à tarde e ao pão fresco deixado à porta todas as manhãs. Com certeza uma experiência a se repetir!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Villa Margaridi! Top-verblijf, uitstekende host en personeel. Aanrader voor mensen die een rustige, mooie en luxe plek zoeken in Noord-Portugal

We hebben samen met onze 2 kinderen van 4 en bijna 1 een geweldige week gehad. De faciliteiten zijn Top, Manuela staat altijd klaar om te helpen en de wijn is fantastisch. 2 zeer bevlogen en lieve mensen die er een prachtige plek van hebben gemaakt. De gastvrijheid maakte het nog mooier. En Caramello was meestal ook erg gezellig.

Passamos dias incríveis na casa do Avô. Fomos recebidos pela Ana, que nos aguardou com um café quentinho, a lareira aquecendo a sala, e nos contou a história da casa o que deixa a experiência ainda mais completa. Camas confortáveis, roupas de cama e banho de qualidade, tudo muito limpo e organizado e cozinha muito bem equipada. Todos os cômodos foram muito bem pensados tanto para viver momentos em conjunto, quanto a privacidade dos quartos, que são isolados da área comum. A vista é de tirar o fôlego e o pôr do sol emoldurado pelas janelas, parece mais uma tela na decoração da sala. Já prevemos um retorno no Verão para aproveitar a piscina. Super rocomendo viver essa experiência.

Wonderful stay here for 5 days. Helena was quick and responsive throughout. When I arrived, I met Paula, Sofia, Martinho and Francisco who welcomed and showed me the house and area. So generous to offer me a bottle of wine, water, biscuits on my arrival. The house is cozy and peaceful with a view of the farm where the sheep roam during the day. Comfortable bed, linen and beautiful antique decor to keep with the theme. Kitchen has a small fridge, kettle, microwave and stove. Beautiful spaces to walk and rest under fruit trees, 2 swimming pools in a peaceful natural setting. Even my cat, Samson enjoyed it. For company, we also had a cute friendly dog, Nina. It is a short drive to centre of Fafe, a lovely town with charming architecture. Helena provided useful recommendations on what to do and where to go. Guimaraes is a beautiful place, only 20 minutes from the house. All in all, a great stay and I'm happy to revisit one day again. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at Andre’s place in May 2025, we absolutely loved the house it was lovely being private and in a good peaceful location, an extra that wasn’t on the advert is the fact the biggest bedroom has an en-suite perfect for families! Swimming pool was great but could’ve done with being slightly deeper in one end but it’s perfect for what you need especially with kids. The only thing I would say was a negative was the fact the house has no washing machine ( this is stated in the advert ) but even a tank to wash clothes would make families feel happier to wash there clothes while on holiday. Make sure you have a car when you rent this property as it’s well hidden from the rest of the world! Perfect stay here well recommended and can’t wait to stay here again!

Host was excellent to communicate with . Views were spectacular and the garden and surroundings were very tranquil . An abundance of fruit to pick from the orchard and the Pool was clean and maintained. A great place which is so pet friendly. The only downside is the barking of dogs around the property which at night may disturb the light sleeper . Overall a superb place to stay .

Manuel est un super hôte, il est très réactif et est aux petits soins de ses invités y compris les chiens. Manuel a de bonnes recommandations pour la région. Manuel parle également le français. Le logement est de charme atypique, propre et climatisé. La propriété est privée, il y a une piscine accessible avec beaucoup d’espaces extérieurs très agréables et apaisants.

El alojamiento es tal y como se describe. La casa está bien y amueblada de manera suficiente. Tiene una piscina privada con una zona de porche muy agradable con zonas de sombra y para tomar el sol. El tráfico pasa cerca de la casa, pero no resulta molesto, se escucha en la zona de la terraza y el porche pero no en la casa. Hemos estado una pareja con un bebé y hemos estado tranquilos y a gusto. Abel es un anfitrión amable y atento. Estuvo disponible para nuestras necesidades. Seguro que repetiremos, es un lugar muy recomendable con localidades bonitas para visitar muy cercanas.

Uma semana inesquecível, sem duvida um local a voltar pois sem duvida que nos fez sentir em casa, a destacar a simpatia e boas vindas calorosas por parte dos pais da sara e da dona Margarida, um local excecional para quem quer passar um momento relaxante em família e de descanso, casa muito completa, sem nada apontar, limpeza sem qualquer pormenor apontar, bem situada e privada. Salientar a boa comunicação com a Dona Sara que sempre respondeu rapidamente a qualquer questão da nossa parte. Obrigado por tudo.

Fantastic holiday home with a spectacular private garden. For us it was the perfect place to spend with our family. The hosts are super friendly and easy to communicate with. A big bonus is that there is a good restaurant 200m from the house. Good to know, the beds are not suitable for tall people. Another small remark is that all basics such as dishwasher tablets, matches, extra toilet paper and bin bags were not provided.

Um espaço excelente, muito calmo. Extremamente limpo e com tudo o que era essencial. A dona Ana e o Sr Artur foram sempre uma simpatia, deixaram-nos a vontade e não podíamos ter pedido mais. Adorámos o espaço e a zona.

My stay at Francisco and Clara’s beautiful home was truly memorable. The stunning views of the Douro River from the multiple terraces, combined with the peaceful surroundings, made it a perfect getaway. The house is well-equipped, with spacious rooms and a fantastic pool area that we enjoyed throughout our stay. Francisco and Clara were incredibly welcoming, even providing a thoughtful welcome basket and daily fresh bread delivery. Their hospitality and the charm of the house made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Douro region!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The outside area was absolutely fabulous and the house was kitted with everything we needed to have a really fun and relaxing holiday. Raul was extremely welcoming providing our daughter with a crib last minute and gave us local recommendations that were great. We would absolutely love to return!

Hôte très accueillant, très aimable , gentil, maison propre et ordonnée . Je vous recommande, nous avons passez un excellent séjour . Le logement est paisible et calme. Point positif également l’hôte parle Français ce qui est un très bon point quand on ne parle pas la langue du pays . Encore merci ☺️
