Apartment holiday rentals in Porto District

The studio apartment was brilliant and perfect for our short stay. Exactly as described and beautiful inside. Located right off of Rua de Santa Catarina, it was extremely easy to find while being close to a bunch of local restaurants, shops, and tourist spots. José greeted us at the Airbnb and was an amazing host. He was helpful and responsive throughout our stay. He gave us a bunch of brilliant recommendations which we made great use of. We would definitely stay again!

Elsa's place was great -as per the photos- large with lovely decor. The location was perfect - very close to shopping, restaurants and Bolhao Market. Very quiet at night. Easy stairs to first level. Only thing was we didn't find where recommended parking was and parked on street around the corner on our first night - car was broken into, glass smashed. Recommend the parking building a few mins walk away, EU12 for 24 hrs.

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

We are very satisfied with our stay in the apartment with our 7-month baby. Angelino and his friend insisted on helping us with our heavy luggage up the stairs since we had a fuzzy baby to take care of. We could leave the pram downstairs. The apartment is very recently renovated so the images did not match entirely but that was only for the better (the living room now has an additional bedroom, and the kitchen has been improved). A lot of small details showed extra care, not your typical airbnb renovation. AC was great in the heat, cold and quiet. The two balconies are amazing. The street appeared a bit dodgy at first, but everyone was friendly and it was walking distance to many great sites and restaurants. All in all, we can highly recommend the apartment.

Beautiful views. Great location. Minimalist IKEA furniture. Wonderful to sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. Great A/C.

The accommodation is great, great view of the sea, just across the streets and you are already on the beach. Here you will also find great restaurants that you should definitely try. The host is very helpful and gave us the necessary information. The apartment is very spacious and superbly equipped. It is also very easy to get to the old town. We liked both the location and the apartment very much.

We spent 5 days at the property. The location was great, you are just in the middle of it, but of course you have to like it, because it is of course also a bit louder. But that didn't bother us and with the windows closed we could sleep well. Communication with Adriana was very friendly. Apartment looks as described. We would choose again at any time.

My partner and I spent 3 days at Isabel's place. Even this building doesn't have parking we parked on other streets very easy. Location is good, downtown Porto is just a 10-minute metro ride away. Good communication with Isabel and Alzira, she received us very kindly. Apartment is very spacious and comfortable, would like to live there for a month.. :) Very recommended!

Rosario is a great host. The place is clean and well equipped. In addition, the location is great: very close to the beach and good restaurants. I only can recommend it. Will certainly return.

The establishment is truly remarkable. The high ceilings, quality furnishings, exquisite decor, and prompt service from the staff contribute to an exceptional Airbnb experience. Additionally, the partial view of the Douro River and the cityscape is quite pleasing. One suggestion for improvement would be to replace the shower faucet, as it is quite difficult to operate; transitioning from the hand shower spray to the overhead spray proved nearly impossible. Furthermore, adjusting the position of the hand shower spray was challenging, requiring me to bend uncomfortably while showering. It is also advisable to clean the grout between the shower tiles, as it exhibits dark marks that may indicate mold growth. Aside from these concerns, this has been one of the finest Airbnb accommodations I have ever experienced, and I highly recommend it.

This Airbnb is in a good location for accessing all that Porto has to offer, on foot. It was nice to have two floors and not be in an apartment as most other airbnbs seem to be. It was very clean and well considered with touches such as an iron, hairdryer, kettle etc. The Airbnb was quiet from external noises such as the street etc and very peaceful in this respect. I do however have to say that the above apartment can be heard quite loudly moving about which did disrupt our sleep as it was usually later at night but they were just moving about, couldn’t hear music or tv late and noise from footsteps would stop around 1130/midnight. Overall I would stay again as it was a lovely airbnb. Nice for relaxing, always warm showers, two toilets, tv and sofa if needed. All good. Thank you.

Great place, great host.

I cannot recommend this Gaia apartment highly enough! I stayed here for a little over a month with my small dog and we both loved it. I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb properties all over the place, but this was one of the few where I truly felt right at home. It was impeccably clean (difficult to find with pet-friendly spots), the space/building were well-equipped with quite literally everything I needed, and the hosts were super responsive and helpful with my every question. Joana and Fabio really went above and beyond. While it is outside of the city center, I really loved the location for a longer trip like mine. I enjoyed taking the scenic walk across the bridge and having the mall & grocery store right next to the building was extremely convenient, too! I will definitely be searching for this place again on my next trip to Porto. Book it, you won’t be disappointed.

Ludo and Park were truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond by sharing fantastic local recommendations and insider tips, which really enriched our trip. The space itself was spotless, bright, and wonderfully spacious. Having our own private pool was an absolute treat, especially during the hot weather. The location couldn’t be better: everything is within walking distance, and public transport is a breeze to use. I honestly have no complaints; it was a perfect experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be booking again when I return to Porto. Thank you so much, Park and Ludo! ❤️

Lovely apartment about 20mins outside Porto centre. Comfortable beds and great outdoor space. Pool was a godsend. Communications by the owner were great and very helpful. Used Ubers to get in and out of Porto easily and wasn’t expensive.

An amazing place to stay! The flat was lovely and clean, shower was nice and big and the bed was super comfy. Made the most of it being a ground floor flat by sunbathing just outside the little patio area and walking straight to the pool for a dip. Also a great location to walk into town for either the beach, shops or restaurants. Not too far to walk to the supermarket for food either. Adelina was always super quick to reply to messages, and was exceptionally friendly and helpful anytime we did message. Cannot recommend enough!!

The accommodation was very spacious and there was ample space to unfold. The ambience is rather functional and not particularly homely but we lacked nothing. You are privately accommodated there, but also anonymous. You won't be making contacts there. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine washes well. The wifi router is located in the property and the internet is fast. I particularly liked the large sliding wall with which you can protect the living area from the sun. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable, with the gastronomy in the area offering little change. Shopping facilities are a 15-20 min walk. After all, you have a vacation and plenty of time. We felt comfortable and the place was absolutely worth its money. Thank you

Francisca, in addition to being extremely friendly, is super available and helps in everything that is needed. All the spaces in the house were clean and prepared to welcome us. We really enjoyed the experience, so we highly recommend it!

Amazing apartment with a lovely sense of space and air. Lovely little swimming pool too. There was a little noise from some construction next door but the host was helpful around that.

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

João was a very kind and gracious host. He was always willing to help and was patient enough to take time out of his Friday evening to tend to us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment. We would definitely stay here again!
