Beautiful location, peaceful and private. Spacious, modern, comfortable home. Really good advice about places to explore and visit in the surrounding area. This is a place we’d return to in a heartbeat. Just the tonic after a week in Paris and a hectic entry via JFK. Ben’s place is a haven away from the world. We just loved it!

Great little place in a great location! It’s an easy walk to all of downtown New Paltz, with the added bonus of a convenience store and local coffee shop just around the corner. The Empire State Trail is also just right across the street. The house itself is small, the perfect size for a couple. It is a unique and charming place, and well stocked with books and movies to keep you occupied. There’s also a few chargers hanging around in case you forgot yours at home. I wish it had a bigger bed, but that’s really my only complaint!

What an excellent stay - this airbnb was incredibly well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, extra linens, really anything that one could want. Amenities were high quality and very thoughtful.

The drive up was beautiful, and the stay even more so. The home was cozy, charming, and had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. The water view in the back was stunning and added such a serene touch to the experience. The neighbors were friendly, and the host was kind and welcoming. We felt right at home here.

Our stay at the little blue house on Ohayo Mountain Road was incredibly easy and peaceful. Being at the top of the mountain was lovely whether it was clear skies or downpouring rain. The house was quiet, clean, open, and comfortable. The climate was easy to control, the bed was comfortable, and it was thankfully very dark thanks to blackout curtains on the largest windows and door. (Though if you’re very sensitive to light, you may consider bringing material to block out light that shines through the window screen of the bedroom a/c unit.) The bathroom was clean, shower had great water pressure, and we had all the linens we could need. The gasket for the drain in the bathtub we think needs to be replaced as it did slowly let water out and gurgled until we temporarily sealed it with some plastic wrap from the kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen, it was pretty well stocked with tools, gadgets, and utensils for a rental! The knives were even sharp! And the location can’t be beat!

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect spot for us (3 adults), but would still be comfortable with more guests. I would also recommend it for extended stays. It was very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully set up. We loved the privacy of the location and its beautiful yard and pond, while still being a quick drive into the town of Rhinebeck. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the absolute best choice ever! I am coming back and staying for an entire week this summer to explore further some great places we found and to enjoy this adorable apartment! The beds were the most comfortable I've ever experienced in an Airbnb and I've stayed at many. I slept soundlessly, which is rare for me! The snacks and attention to detail was great. The apartment was so comfortable! I felt right at home. It was easy to make excellent meals in the well equipped kitchen - we had everything we needed and the pots, pans and knives are all brand new, again much better than other Airbnbs I've visited. Sitting on the cafe chairs looking out at the beautiful backyard and woods was so incredibly peaceful and serene. We saw deer grazing and soaked in the sweet and natural landscape while we ate breakfast and coffee. What a fantastic stay! I didn't want to leave. Our time here was way too short. I definitely will be back! Don't overthink it, just book it!

The Eco Cottage was a perfect, tiny gem tucked away in the middle of the beautiful green woods. It was so private, peaceful, and serene. It truly felt like my own little retreat and since I was there to go on a retreat, this was the perfect place to lay my head at night. I loved walking the trails and wow, the pool, which looked so inviting (even if it was a bit too chilly to use this time!). Everything was clean, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Hosts checked in regularly but gave me my privacy. I really enjoyed my stay SO MUCH and will absolutely be booking here again the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at Tina's and had a great time. The location is secluded, incredibly peaceful and quiet — all you can hear are the birds in the morning. The home itself is clean and looks just like the photos. We also loved that we could bring our dog along with us. We live in the city so our pup doesn't get to touch much grass, and he had a blast running through the fenced-in yard. Although we originally booked because the house has a pool and we were hoping for good weather, it rained almost the entire time we were there... Nonetheless, it felt like the coziest home for a rainy weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting inside by the fire to watch a movie, cooking in the kitchen and building a fire outside when the rain stopped. The location was also great for driving into Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Hudson and surrounding breweries and wineries.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

Cody’s geodome was beautiful! We had a great weekend here and would suggest it to anyone else looking for a peaceful getaway with friends or family. The dome looks small from the outside but has plenty of space for guests. We never felt cramped. The kitchen has most of the essentials you’d need for a getaway. The highlight of the trip was the hot tub area with the mountains in the backdrop. The hot tub itself was amazing. Even with the rain, we still enjoyed being in there. We utilized the grill and the fire pit as well. Overall, a great stay, and we would love to go back again!

Beautiful place with lovely views. Close to lots of restaurants, hikes, parks, and quaint villages. Plenty of room for our extended family.

We had a lovely stay at kim’s. The location was great, having a hot tub was really nice even with the weather getting warmer, the space was very clean and kim was very responsive to us throughout the whole stay.

We loved our stay here! Our dogs had so much fun in the yard/river and got some much needed off leash time. The house is perfect, clean and has everything you need. The hosts were extremely responsive and took care of whatever we needed. 10/10 would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Olga’s! The design throughout the space is beautiful, and staying on the second floor feels like floating among the trees. It’s also wonderfully private, with great food spots nearby that make the location super convenient.

Wonderful large studio with warm materials and beautiful renovation. Very easy access by car to Rhinebeck, Poughkeepsie, Culinary Institute of America, and just a little farther to Kingston or New Paltz, very reachable. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the space.

Comfortable and clean with beautiful scenery - on clear days, you get a Mountain view across the lake! Highly recommend.

Great little spot close enough to everything you need yet far enough away from the Poughkeepsie noise. Great for a Vassar parent looking for quick night with a comfy bed!
