Very clean. Easy to find. Would definitely rent again. Sad to see the state that Lake Lure is in, but the town is working hard to repair.

The Loverly is truly lovely—you’ll feel at home! With a fireplace, a chaise lounge, a hot tub, and more, it’s the perfect retreat. Plan a shopping day in Hendersonville. The local consignment shop, which supports hospice care, offers great prices. For a meal, check out Shine—known for unique dishes and excellent service. In Fairview, The Local Joint is a must-visit. This old-fashioned diner, owned by a single mom, serves hearty meals that last all day. Their eggs Benedict, with fresh spinach, avocado, and homemade skillet potatoes, is a standout. Watching “CoCo” cook—his energy is unmatched—is an experience! Get there early; we went twice, and it was packed. Consider contributing to The Local Joint’s “pay it forward” option. A $10 donation covers a meal for someone in need. This region of North Carolina was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. The destruction is heartbreaking, but the community is rebuilding. Many businesses and walking trails remain closed, so keep that in mind.

We were visiting Asheville for a friends wedding and this provided the space and amenities we needed for a long weekend. It was peaceful and had a nice patio and outdoor space. It was an awesome suprise to see the fireflies twinkling in the trees by the creek at night while relaxing after a long day. It was just me and my husband but would be nice for a group of adults or a family getaway also. Plenty of space. Thanks for a good vacation!

We loved our stay! Everything we wanted to do was in close proximity and the recommendations for food were amazing! Our stay was peaceful and the cottage itself was lovely.

This was one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in for several reasons. The host is great and helpful. But the place is set up perfectly. The colors, vibe, lights and atmosphere the host creates is peaceful and inviting. We will be back!

Big backyard was perfect for the dogs. The Cottage was just as described Very clean with everything we needed for the weekend. We contacted Brandon once for broken blowdryer and he offered to run one over in a couple hours. Very responsive and accommodating. We will stay again

What a perfect spot! Our little family, including our dog, loved David’s place. The fenced in back yard & well stocked kitchen were highlights. As others have noted, it is on a busy road, but from the backyard you can’t really tell — it feels very private. We would absolutely come back and stay again.

Beautiful property! The house was pristine, the yard was well cared for and great for exploring. The stream and waterfall, along with the historic mill were incredible. We enjoyed dinners outside, evening walks in the meadow, fireflies, sounds of waterfalls, and campfires with s'mores. Nancy is a highly thoughtful host and provided us with information about the area, fixins for s'mores and an immaculate while also very comfortable house. We explored Pisgah National Forest, went tubing with Brevard Tubbing, swimming in cool rivers, hikes with waterfalls.... and so much more. Thank you, Nancy, for opening your home to us, our kids and dogs. It was perfect!

This by far is one of our favorite places. We frequently visit Hendersonville and we hit the jackpot when we found this cute little cottage that was superiorly clean. Dale and Kelli are as friendly as we could ever imagine. We highly recommend this beautiful cottage. Definitely beats a hotel room.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my fiancés birthday in Saluda as well as staying at Karen and Katie’s place. It’s an absolute adorable house that was perfect for the two of us and our service dog. Location was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely go back!

Julie’s place is a lovely cottage located adjacent to her cattle pasture. It is beautifully decorated and the beds are so comfy. We didn’t use the loft area, but the main living area is well designed and feels spacious. The location is peaceful and safe and close to our family when we visit, so we will definitely book again. Do be aware that the interstate is close, so you do hear the traffic when you’re outside, but it’s not noticeable when you’re in the cottage. Thanks for a wonderful stay and for the tour of your farm. The burgers, steaks, roast and eggs were delicious!

We enjoyed our stay. Jennifer let us know about a local power outage which was out of her control. She offered a complimentary night due to the inconvenience. The interior is spotless and I did not feel the need to do any cleaning nor sanitizing. We loved the linens and had a comfy bed and pillows. We would like the sheet brand for sure!! We hear they have another cottage close by. We definitely recommend this one!! Not too far from town. About a mile I believe. Our little blind dog had no problems navigating in the cottage. Thank y'all so much!!

Peaceful weekend getaway! The cottage is privately located just minutes from downtown Tryon and was easy to get to Saluda’s hiking trails as well. We enjoyed sitting by the river and the beautiful property in its entirety, animals & all. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in Tryon!

David & Tammy were amazing hosts. They were clear in all of their communication and very accommodating. The house is perfect. It is very well appointed. There was not anything that I needed that was not there. The space was perfect for my daughter and I who were here at the Tryon World Equestrian Center. The house was big enough for another mother daughter duo. The location was perfect. Although the address is Landrum the property is in Tryon. I ventured to Landrum because I needed to go to Verizon and that town was equally cute and it’s only five minutes down the road from the house. The trip to the horse show was only about 20 minutes. When we finished at the horse show there were plenty of restaurants right near the property. In fact, you could walk to a couple of them. I was obsessed with this place because it is across the street from the cutest nursery, which I can’t wait to come back to. I will definitely book this property for the next show. Thank y’all for everything.

Awesome little cottage. We really couldn’t hear the traffic from the road. We truly enjoyed the very short walk to the river and the bathhouse was clean as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and there is a great small refrigerator as well. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked exceptionally well. We will come back again to stay.

Roger's place was wonderful. It was close to the wedding venue for the wedding we attended. The beds were comfortable and home was very cozy. I would stay here again when back in NC.

Clean, quiet place convenient to TIEC. Nice that a few waters, milk and cereal, and snacks were provided. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay at Katherine’s! Everything was clean and the living space is a good size. Best of all to me was a great mattress and nice linens for a good and comfortable nights sleep. The property is quiet and close to the equestrian center. It’s an ideal place especially if TIEC events are your reason for visiting!

We stayed here while my son had an event at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. It was easy to find following the hosts instructions (if we had followed google once off the main rd we would not have gotten there). The place is comfortable and roomy enough for everyone to rest.
