Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Polk County

Let me just say that this place is excellent, as are the hosts, Roger and Elizabeth. The house has three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom (each recently redone). The common area upstairs has plenty of seating, and the common area in the basement has a comfortable pull-out sofa bed. The house has two nice TVs, which allows for different folks to watch different shows. All of that is great, but the true treasure of the place is the view of Little Warrior Mountain. The sun rises over the mountain, and it's beautiful. The house has sturdy, comfortable Adirondack chairs for folks to enjoy the views. (We spent a lot of time out there.) It also has a hot tub, which was great on cold nights. I would also be remiss if I did not commend the hosts, who were super-responsive to questions, offered helpful local suggestions, and who were just plain kind. My whole crew highly recommends this home.

My girlfriends and I stayed at this beautiful NC house and we loved it!! It was a nice way to get away from the city and have a relaxing weekend full of board games, baking Halloween cookies and treating ourselves to an in house spa night. The house was so beautiful and we were obsessed with all the themed rooms. The hot tub was of course a hit! The house is also near great hiking spots. We did a hike inside the neighborhood and we also went to Chimney Rock State Park, which isn’t far from the house. We ended our weekend at the neighborhood restaurant which had plenty of yummy food options and beautiful scenery to take lots of photos at! We absolutely loved in and would go back again!

A very unique and unforgettable experience! The views are incredible. It was a very short distance from a beautiful vineyard (Point Lookout) within 5 mins. On top of everything it is pet friendly which is a cherry on the top. The place was perfectly what we needed. A great spot for family or friends getaway amidst the mountains. Danielle responded quickly with whatever we needed and was very accommodating about everything. Can’t wait to return!

If you're looking for really private, quality time with your spouse in a beautifully secluded area...this is the place. My husband and I were there for our anniversary. It was the 2 of us and our 2 big dogs. It was so nice to be able to have our girls with us. Katie was the most responsive and accommodating host we've ever had. She always responded, usually within minutes, no matter what time it was. She was so gracious when it came to any questions or needs we had. The view from the back deck was breathtaking. I also had so much fun playing with the young chickens in the coup. Katie was very honest in the descriptions of the type of vehicle you need to reach the house safely. My husband and I were driving a lifted pickup truck with 4 wheel drive so we had zero issues. My husband and I plan to make this our anniversary spot every year.

A wonderful home with a great back yard. House is extremely clean with hardwood floors and tile throughout. It's great to be so close to Tryon Equestrian Center.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful home with our family. The house was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with plenty of towels and amenities for everyone, which made our stay super comfortable. The beds were a bit firmer than we’re used to, but everything else more than made up for it. The AC worked amazingly—kept us cool and comfortable the entire time. We especially enjoyed spending time together using the pool table and playing in the lake with the provided kayak and inflatables. The view was stunning, and communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and well-equipped getaway!

LOVED the home! We had a fantastic time at this lake house in Mill Spring. The home had everything we needed, and every room had a beautiful view of the lake!!! Truly beautiful and peaceful to wake up to! It was also just a short drive to the Tryon horse show, which made things super convenient for us. We were able to rent the boat for a day, which was a great experience—we caught a bunch of fish and had a blast out on the water. Heather and Michael were wonderful hosts and very responsive! When our flights were canceled, they were incredibly accommodating and let us extend our stay by a day, which we really appreciated. The house and the hospitality made for a great trip, and we’re already talking about coming back! Thank you Heather and Michael!

This place was everything we didn’t know we needed. Tucked away in the quiet beauty of Lake Lure, it felt like our own little escape. The house was clean, cozy, and had so many thoughtful touches. We started each morning with coffee on the deck and ended each night under the stars—it was peaceful in a way that’s hard to put into words. Our family made real memories here, and we’re already talking about coming back.

This is our second stay at Aramis's home. It was just as lovely the second time around. We were in town for a horse show at TIEC. The rental is comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. Aramis is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and goes the extra mile providing snacks and breakfast foods. We will definitely stay again!

Alex & Josh were great host! Communicated clear & easy check in and check out instructions and were check in with us throughout our stay. The cabin itself was beautiful and clean, it was stocked with everything we needed pretty much in the kitchen and bathrooms. There were little chocolates on all the beds when we arrived, there were all different types of towels, to bathe, pool towels even make up towels which was , little thoughtful details we appreciated. The location was really great! My boyfriend and I were able to do a bunch of hikes near by but also be close enough to enjoy the downtown Asheville area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Lake Lure!

Loved the property! Rooms were wonderful and beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our party of 10 in living and dining areas. The dock and lake access were easy and my adult children loved using the kayaks.

Beautiful home on an outstanding lake, perfect for completely decompressing and enjoying family. The house is nicely appointed, and we had everything that we needed. There is Wi-Fi at the house, but cell service is spotty, which we knew going in. It is a steep walk up/ down to the lake and so it may be hard for the elderly, and in contrast is also a great workout! Loved the water toys that my family took full advantage of. Easy location to get to Lake Lure and not too far from Asheville. Even saw a bald eagle fly over on the first evening.

We had an incredible stay at Hygge Hideaway! It was private, peaceful, and a paragon of perfection. The space is so thoughtfully curated - many details are obvious from the photos but they don’t even do it justice. That being said, we appreciated special details like local coffee, robes, diffusers, dimmable lights, outdoor blankets, hot tub towels, and lots of things for our doggo (including treats!)…but especially an enclosed porch. We took advantage of the outdoor table and chairs for our many games of rummy, the hot tub, grill, and fire pit. The beds were exceptionally comfy and the couch was a cozy place to land and watch movies at night. The entire place was meticulously maintained and all instructions were clear; check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier.. The hosts were helpful, communicative, and flexible. We will absolutely be back! If you’re on the fence, book this place today.

Peaceful cabin and great location by the river. The cabin itself was amazing and had every amenity you could think of. My son especially loved the loft area with all the toys! Unfortunately, the main road into Saluda was closed which added at least 30+ minutes to travel time every time leaving the cabin - including getting to nearby grocery stores and restaurants. We truly enjoyed our stay though, despite all the driving!

Our family loved Erin’s place . The home is comfortable, clean, and filled with interesting art and fresh flowers and plants . The backyard and porches were peaceful places to relax . We also loved having Anabelle the cat keeping us company . This was the perfect retreat after long days at Tryon horse show. Hoping to return!

I absolutely loved my stay at Erin's! The location is the perfect place to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. Check in was super easy and I was immediately comfortable. The house looked spotless and so cozy. I adored all her decor and furnishings. Around every corner there was a fascinating addition to the home. The stay was so nice I wish I could stay!

What a beautiful cabin. The surroundings, the outdoor area sitting out in the hot tub under the stars was amazing. Rooms were very comfortable in size. Great place to have family dinners at night after a long horse show day.

A lovely cabin with plenty of space for myself and small equestrian team of 6. I loved how it was located in a gated community; we felt very safe. Cabin was very clean- added pluses were the hot tub and pool table. Communication was very detailed and immediate. Would love to stay again!
