Cynthia was great with her comms, flexible with our booking, check in/check out was super easy, and the house was clean with listed amenities. Great location..a 3min drive from a shopping centre. The house is situated at the end of a narrow driveway with thick shrubs and there is limited street parking so it might be a little challenging to manoeuvre a large vehicle in and out of the driveway. That’s obviously not a fault of the house itself. Just something to take into consideration if you’re travelling with a big car or not a confident driver.

We had an amazing stay at Mario’s place! He was incredibly friendly and responsive throughout our trip. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It’s also conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, which made exploring the area super easy. Mario went above and beyond by recommending a snow trip for us, something we truly appreciated and really enjoyed. Highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay while in Melbourne

Easy to get to, Nice and early check-in which is also extremely flexible. Easy driveway and easy kerb side parking. Place was extremely nice and clean with aircon already on when we entered in which is really nice! Have all the cutlery and utensils needed to cook any meal, place is also very much kid/baby friendly with cribs and play area. An amazing quiet area to sleep at when visiting the city. My friend and I found it very convenient with light rail lines and train lines very close by and to rest for every night during the F1 weekend. Highly recommend this place if you want a nice, comfortable and cozy stay at Melbourne. Also the TV is great! Thanks Shirley so much for hosting!!!

This unit was bright, clean and comfortable. It was everything we needed to have a 'home base' while we visited Melbourne with our own car. The unit was private and secure with an automatic gate for tenants only. The street was quiet, well kept and felt safe. The furnishings and aesthetic of the place was modern and clean. We loved the crisp white sheets, ample pillows and towels. The kids slept soundly in the bunk beds and loved having activities and games to play in the lounge room. There is no dining area, but there are stools at the kitchen counter. And let's be honest, we weren't eating at home - there are more than enough restaurants on High St, which is just a two-minute walk away. The train and it's station were far enough away that the noises didn't cause any disturbance to our sleep. The hosts were very responsive and had a cot and sheets set up for our baby upon arrival. The even left out baby blankets, a playmat and a sweet hooded towel for us! Thanks for everything!

I enjoyed my stay overall, and I especially appreciated the host's flexibility with the early check-in! The kitchen was fantastic, and I especially appreciated the quality of the cooking pots and pans – a real plus! The space had a lovely, cozy feel. However, there were a few things to note. The floorboards are quite old and creaky, so future guests should be prepared to tread very carefully and quietly. The main door was also a bit stubborn; it needed a bit of extra effort to close securely. I also noticed a few small bugs around. Lastly, the bed was softer than I prefer. Despite these minor issues, the early check-in, great kitchen, and cozy atmosphere made it a decent stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ivanhoe. Our accommodations were lovely, spacious, and comfortable. We especially loved being able to walk everywhere. The shops, restaurants, and train station are very close. There are so many restaurant options in town! I highly recommend this airbnb.

I recently stayed here and had a great experience in such a beautiful and tranquil environment. The scenery around the house was fantastic, and we were able to enjoy the beauty of nature. They were also quick to respond to any needs or questions we had because we were able to get in touch with the owner. This made our trip even more comfortable. We were fortunate enough to stay here for almost a month and it did not disappoint! House was beautifully decorated and clean! Equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable long term stay. Annika was incredible helpful and responsive whenever we had any questions. Could not fault! Very good value for money and easy to deal with the owner.

Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Easy to park and great for large families. The lake view from the yard is truly stunning. Those with kids will enjoy the opportunity to feed the geese and ducks that come right up to your yard. The place is sparkling clean and host is very responsive to all our queries.

Great host, beautiful home and cooling off in the pool was a life saver during the 30 degree hot days. There were loads of fun activities within a 1 hour drive. The area was very peaceful. Thank you Gaurav.

The house is so open and spacious exactly what we needed for the family. The backyard is small, but there’s a wonderful park 5mins walk, and small shopping center 15mins walk away that I could pick up whatever we needed. Area is safe and quiet.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s fantastic house! It’s a beautiful property, and larger than it seems in the photos. It’s also very well equipped, and with the crazy Melbourne weather kept us warm with the heating and cool with the aircon. Our pup really enjoyed her time there, too! The pool is also fantastic, and the decked area great for chilling out. We would love to stay again in future!

lily was a great host. we stayed for 4 months in total. lily was very easy to deal with, communicated well and responded very quickly to any questions we had. we would be more than happy to stay again.

Good spacious house with backyard. Host is helpful, communicates really quick and understands the needs.

Very big and nice house, furniture wasn’t up to the mark, dining chairs were too cheap and one broken while seated and couple more about to break, tea tables were very light and cheap doesn’t go with the beautiful house, stand fans was provided but one couldn’t stand nearly broken, there were lots of broken glasses on the clothing line, one of our kid cut his feet and doctors assistant was required, noticed Lily and she acknowledged and willing to help every was possible, that was very nice of her. Overall we enjoyed staying there and wish to stay again when possible. Thanks you Lily🙏🙏

We had a great weekend away at Chelos place located in a nice historic part of Richmond within walking distance of everything. Accomodation was cosy and Hosts are fun to chat to and very helpful. Chelo is also a good source of knowledge for anybody interested in European fashion design !
