Family-friendly holiday rentals in Poggiardo

We had a very nice vacation! Rooms and breakfast were really great and the hot tub was really great.

It’s a very nice apartment block, there’s 6 units in total, the location suited our trip, we were greeted by a lovely lady called Lucia who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Our apartment was beautiful and quiet, very well equipped. I would recommend getting a top floor apartment as the bottom apartment we stayed in was noisy from people walking or moving chairs upstairs. My only other recommendation is that the second bedroom be fitted with a blind as the light shines through, this didn’t worry us but might others. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will still recommend you staying.

Alberto & Felipo were wonderful and very helpful hosts on our stay in Lecce. They spent a lot of time helping us get oriented upon our arrival; gracious, good-natured and very responsive during our stay. Clean, well-kept, and in a great location near San Mateo Church, we would stay there again. The roof, with hot tub, is actually nicer and bigger than the photos allow. My family was very happy staying there. Grazie!

I would give this place and host 6 stars if I could! It’s a HUGE apartment that’s part of a palazzo built in the 1400s. Luigia is the most charming, warm, friendly and helpful host ever! She makes you feel at home and does so many thoughtful things like stocking the fridge with food and beverage items, walking you through the place with the right level of detail and even made my restaurant reservations for me like a concierge. The location is 2 mini blocks off the main square yet tranquil as can be. And the bed is the most comfortable of my 5 weeks in Italy thus far! I love Lecce, this place and this host! Can’t wait to return.

A 5-star accommodation. Large apartment, well exposed, very well equipped, and in a quiet neighborhood. While being close to the beach, and small shops. Bike, BBQ and Jacuzzi available. Complimentary coffee pods and a bottle of red wine. A view of the sea and the breathtaking sunset. We would have stayed there for a few more days. I recommend it 1000%.

Our stay here was a paradise. The super clean house was charming, eco friendly, nature filled and extremely well equipped. The location was quiet and yet very close to cafe supermarket and beach/swim places. Remarkable restaurants also. I would highly recommend Donatello and Massimina’s naturalistic home to anyone seeking charm and quiet. They are such lovely hosts too. Many thanks for our fab stay.

Beautiful apartment with spacious grounds, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Everything is designed to have a wonderful stay in Salento. Access by car is easy, and the accommodation is very well furnished, comfortable, clean and welcoming. A true haven of peace, ideal to recharge your batteries. Hosts Ada and Salvatore are absolutely wonderful: caring, available and concerned about our well-being. The welcome was perfect, with delicious coffee and cake on arrival — a nice touch that sets the tone for the stay. My daughter loved running freely on the grounds and playing with the cats, which added a touch of happiness to our getaway. Thank you for this beautiful stay and for letting us discover the Nespole, a fruit we did not know and that my daughter loved! We would definitely recommend this listing.

Loved this apartment in Lecce! It was a great place to relax during the afternoon heat. It was very close to restaurants and within the old town. If ever back, we'd definitely hope to stay here again.

We were charmed by this little corner of heaven. Comfortable bed, immaculate space, functional for cooking and perfect for relaxing outside. We appreciated the availability of the bikes since the village is very close. Andrea gave us excellent suggestions for restaurants.

The place we stayed was very nice and clean. The interior was very well decorated. You can walk everywhere. But more importantly, Davide was a very good host.

The apartment is very spacious and has a very comfortable, homey feel. The private terrace is lovely. It is a perfect location on a side street not far from all the attractions and various shops. We would definitely stay here again. Mario was very helpful and responsive with the remote check in.

The accommodation was fantastic. Very spacious, nice bathrooms, different seating areas, large kitchen with enough supplies, cutlery, glasses and mugs. Washing machine available. Very occasionally the power went out but that was easy to fix. You just couldn't turn on too many devices at the same time. The host was always available if you had questions and very quick to respond. All in all, had a top holiday even though the season hadn't quite started yet. Excellent central place for all kinds of sights.

Had a great time in this Airbnb, very clean, extremely spacious and had everything we needed. There are two lovely beaches near the apartment as well as a good supermarket. Only downside is the distance to Gallipoli old town but we had a car and found parking no problem

We had a wonderful time at Barbara’s house. It’s beautifully restored and tastefully decorated. We loved watching the swifts on the terrace in the evening. All the sights were in walkable distance and Barbara was extremely helpful and accommodating. The house was spotless. Thank you Barbara Ruth and Neil

The wonderful garden behind the large gate of the Masseria invites you to linger and dream with sunny and shady spots between huge cacti, flowering shrubs, flowers and trees. Sunrise with a bird concert over the Adriatic Sea from the roof terrace! If there wasn't so much to discover in Salento with all the beautiful beaches, towns and villages, I'd stay in the garden! The tastefully and functionally designed studio has a very comfortable bed. Luca is a very likeable, communicative and attentive host. A very clear recommendation!!

This place was even more beautiful than the photos. Gorgeous views everywhere you looked. Sunrises were magical. Ada and her husband were so very kind and helpful with any questions we had. This place is a perfect oasis for a group gathering. You wouldn’t need to leave the property if you didn’t want to. So much to see and do right on site including pool and outdoor pizza oven. Several little spots to eat or have a drink with sea view within minutes. Santa Maria Di Leuca is only 15 minutes away with many terrific restaurants and touring options!

Had a fantastic stay at Emanuele's place. The room and pool area were lovely and created a great environment to relax in. The location is great, and Emanuele is a super kind and attentive host!

Occasionally on Airbnb you arrive somewhere and it’s like hitting the jackpot. Each and every space is beautiful, well appointed and through a design lens- stunning. Laid back luxury at its best. We are a (grown up) family of 9 and appreciated the numerous spaces to step back for moments of solitude - both inside and out. All the bedrooms are gorgeous- so no one left feeling like they’ve pulled the short straw, and the kitchen is perfect for creating big dinners. A cool (thanks to the air con) sitting room-perfect for reading, and bathrooms all well designed and good looking. The pool is beautiful- big enough to get a proper swim in which in my experience is rare, but the huge table under the canopied terrace off the kitchen was the place to be! The village bar is a 2 minute walk away and more restaurants a 15 minute walk. Can’t recommend enough, and can’t wait to return. Thank you Rocco and the wonderful house keepers for making our stay perfectly fabulous.

Absolutely exceptional stay – beyond all expectations! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Paolo was an outstanding host – warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as perfect as possible. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly well taken care of. The villa itself is just amazing – full of character, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. But the real highlight? The view. Absolutely breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice – it’s something you have to see with your own eyes. This place is a hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Paolo, for everything – you’ve set the bar impossibly high!

We had an amazing stay at Francesca’s. We were in contact with Lukas who was extremely helpful, clear and friendly. At check in, Lukas met us and showed us around, he had many local recommendations for us. Throughout the stay he was super responsive and helpful. The first morning we woke up to fresh croissant and pasticciotti!! The house was beautiful, very spacious, full of light and extremely clean. There are many places to sit and many amenities like the pool, outside showers, hammocks and outside BBQ area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you.

We liked the stay in Marco's apartment very much. The view of the sea and the terrace with pool are beautiful. Beds are very comfortable. There is a good beach bar at the beautiful, nearby bay. Castro is just within walking distance. One advantage was the private parking on the property. The communication with Giorgio was quick and uncomplicated.

The house and garden are really beautiful! We spent many great hours there and even used the pizza oven 😍the place is really highly recommended! Antina is very sweet and helpful, answered every question:-) We were there at the end of September and had many mosquitoes🦟. The location is also perfect, you can see many beautiful beaches and lecce is also only 30-40 minutes away :)
