Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pocahontas County

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The view from the house was absolutely beautiful—peaceful and perfect for relaxing. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back.

The Tannery is such a charming home with a combination of antique and modern furnishings and art work. The location is outstanding. There is a big back yard that leads to a river with a private dipping pool. You can easily walk to the village and eat at the excellent Waterwheel restaurant . The Warm Springs baths are also very close and are very enjoyable. The bed at the Tannery is very comfortable, the shower water is plenty hot, and the kitchen well equipped. The internet is awesome. We would definitely like to return in the Spring or Summer.

place matches the pictures! has lots of space for everyone and is close to snowshoe for skiing. little tricky getting up and down to it but that's described in the listing! there were A LOT of lady bugs everywhere. out of everything my groups biggest suggestion for the place would be some form or curtains. especially for the day bed that's in the loft, just having the option to close them would have been nice. otherwise, good place and good value

I could NEVER tire of the view from the hutch and the sunsets were spectacular! Host was extremely responsive and helpful. There were plenty of linens and although the kitchen is small, it fit our needs and had PLENTY of dish ware for a lot of people. We ate most of our meals in although there are a lot of great restaurants that are walkable from the hutch or just catch the shuttle (including a really good food truck that was right across the street!). It’s not a true ski in/out but it’s very close and very walkable. Our kids even walked with their ski boots on. We loved our stay and made so many memories!

We picked this house for the proximity to Cass and is a good option if you don’t want to be up in Snowshoe. The town restaurants weren’t very good so I would plan to cook at the house (bring all your groceries, the local store is limited) and the only local fishing seems to be fly fishing so we had to drive at least an hour to get to a lake. Otherwise, the host is great and there was a band in town that was a lot of fun!

James place was perfect for ski in ski out at Snowshoe. James is very responsive and allowed us an early check in with a pending snow storm. We loved the fireplace, WiFi access and plenty of room and additional sleeper sofas! We would stay again.

Everything about our entire experience here was amazing! From the time we found it online to the time we left, Dimitri was so kind, friendly and helpful. His communication was outstanding and answered every question we had. The house is just the cutest historic home and we felt right at home. Loved the acreage because we were able to play outside with our children every day and didn’t even have the need to go anywhere! We did take a day to visit the train station right down the road that Dimitri told us about. He let us know the locations of the nearest Walmart from the house so we drove there on our way to the house and got everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t need to go out again but there was also a Dollar General just a few minutes down the road if we needed any other supplies. I loved swinging on the front porch and exploring the property. The “neighborhood” was beautiful and we loved taking walks. It was just amazing and we would love to go back! I didn’t want to leave!!

This Airbnb was a very nice place to stay. Very clean and a warm and cozy space. The catwalk to get to powder ridge lift is right behind the house so even when there is low snow coverage it’s a very easy walk in ski boots to get to. Would highly recommend!

I had a lovely time and appreciated the access to the spa. The warm springs pools were nearby, and there were plenty of lovely vineyards, restaurants, hikes, and beautiful views. I can't think of a better location for enjoying Bath County.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here! The house is very close to Snowshoe, clean and has absolutely amazing views! Any questions we had, the hosts were very quick to respond and help. It was a perfect place to gather after a cold day on the slopes!

This is a beautiful home. The location is a bit away from the village… but we prefer that! It’s much less hectic than the village, yet you can ski to lift right across the street. It’s a perfect place for a large group. We only had 4 adults and a child, so we had more than enough room. Plus we were able to take our dog which is important to us. The one gripe I have and this is more with Airbnb… is the cleaning fee. We were there for about 36 hours and paid $275 cleaning fee. If we had a full house for a week, then the cleaning fee would be reasonable, but for a small group for a short stay, it is an excessive amount. Plus, we cleaned up after ourselves, ran the dishwasher and took the trash out.

Awesome location and great space for having fun!

Beautiful home overlooking some of WV’s best scenery. Taft & DeeDee’s home was as described. If you plan to use the hot tub, I would bring along pool/beach towels or plan to wash towels frequently. We stayed with 6 adults and 1 child and had just enough towels to cover the group. To offset the limited number of towels, the home did offer a washer and dryer for guest use with detergent available - thanks! All in all, great stay in a very nice home!

Comfortable little apartment in downtown Marlinton. Kitchen could be more thoroughly stocked, and furniture could be of slightly better quality, but (in general) this was a nice place to stay. Bed was comfortable, all linens were well-kept, and apartment was clean. Curtains were thoughtfully provided, in order to help block out street lighting during the night. Easily accessible to downtown Marlinton. Would definitely considering staying again in the future!

This was our 2nd stay. As the first stay Nancy communicated to us before our stay, during our stay and the day we left she came by. If you want to be able to truly relax worth no hustle or bustle this is the place. Walking distance to the scenic railway. No fuss no muss just a truly relaxing stay. Nancy is the hostess with the most. Snacks some necessities are in the cupboards. Kering cups for a quick cup or bring your favorite to brew. Kitchen, bsth, bedrooms eell stocked with essentials for your stay. We can not wait to go again. Thank you Nancy for such a relaxing awesome place to stsy. Fishing is great as well.
