Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Plesio

This was our second visit, we enjoyed it so much two years ago. It is a steep but lovely walk out of town away from the tourists (there is a bus if you time it right) but absolutely worth it for this delightful house with views from every window. Silvano is kind and helpful and we enjoyed olives and fresh figs from his garden.

We have an excellent stay on the lake. Beautiful views and in a quieter area away from crowds!

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

Absolutely beautiful! The view is extraordinary and the Airbnb is clean with good utensils in the kitchen. Davide and Kerry also gave really fast answers. Amazing!

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

It was a wonderful vacation at Il Terrazzino. We really enjoyed our time at the lake and in the house.

The stay was great. From the accommodation, the view of the lake is fantastic and the pool location is very neat.

Despite bad weather, we spent a very relaxed week in this very idyllically located cozy house. The house is carefully renovated and tastefully furnished. The location is unique: all alone on a clearing in the forest. We will be happy to come back.

Spent an amazing couple of days at this place! Really pleased with Monica’s communication and helpfulness. Her recommendations for restaurants and cafes were great and the house was very clean. 100% recommended!

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

This place is amazing! The quiet nights on the patio, or walking down to the lake to enjoy the lights in the castle with evening setting on Lake Como were so wonderfully relaxing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the insanity of Varenna. Other pluses. Town parking pass for Dervio. Amazing breakfast waiting for the ferry there, full kitchen for spectacular sunset meals with the best view of the lake!

Paola and Silva are amazing hosts! We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived until the end of our stay. They were incredibly attentive and friendly. On our first evening, Paola prepared a delicious dinner using local products, we only wish we could have tried more! Silva also brought us fresh lemons from their garden. The apartment is cozy and looks even better than in the pictures. You can enjoy beautiful lake views from every room, and of course from the huge terrace. There's private parking available in the yard, and the area is generally quiet, with only an occasional car passing by. It’s about a 15–20 minute walk down to the town. Also, a very smart and beautiful red cat lives on the premises. We can definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again. Thank you very much, Paola and Silva! Andrea’s apartment is extraordinary. The terrace and the bedrooms overlook the lake and the entire apartment is spotless and well equipped. We are so grateful for our time in Varenna and beautiful lake Como. To top it off our host helped us secure a reservation at Al Prato a very hard to get into restaurant located just across the square from our apartment. Best dining and service we had - highly recommend Andrea’s apartment. It is magical.

amazing stay. the house is beautiful with the most incredible views - Dennis and Jana were amazing hosts and replied very promptly with great recommendations and help with the house. could not recommend more!

Andreas is really a super host: very friendly and accommodating, we were even allowed to use his garage space. Communication was extremely straightforward and everything was well described. The location of the historic house is unique: unique views of Lake Maggiore and the mountains as well as the wonderful garden and the super equipped loggia in front of the apartment invite you to linger. The village shop can be reached on foot in 5 minutes and is equipped with the most important for everyday needs. The apartment is very tasteful but also practically furnished. Everything is there (even coffee!), the bed is very comfortable, and the view from the bedroom is unique. It was still a little cold during our stay, but we were able to heat the rooms well. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Cà la Rocca and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We will be back! Sylvia was a great host, offering so many suggestions and with train construction a mess her husband helped us get from Lecco and he was so personable and kind! This place is beautiful and located in the perfect spot within walking distance to the lakefront restaurants and shops! It was like a dream staying here! Even left us a prosecco to toast our arrival in a heavenly place! Thank you for making our stay perfect!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nobiallo. Camillo's place felt like home. Beautiful place to return to after exploring the areas by ferry or bus which is a short distance away on foot to Menaggio. Camillo was such a kind gentleman, he gave us a ride to the bus station when we left. The views from the balcony were incredible & a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend.

Awesome spot! Stayed here for one night for our honeymoon trip. Great view, easy access to great restaurants, beautiful area to walk around, and super friendly hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! My partner & I whole heartedly recommend you consider Enrica’s attic for you lodgings at Lake Como! Cameron June 2025

The views are even better than the photos! It was absolutely beautiful, what a special place to stay. We loved the spa facilities too and the host was really friendly and helpful. Fully recommend!

Alessia was a wonderful and responsive host. She met us at check in and was very flexible with our arrival time. She helped us to get settled and immediately offered us some lunch recommendations and even helped us set up a boat tour to go on during our trip. Definitely ask her about this! The space was spotless and exactly as pictured. Parking was easy and free. One thing to note is that you should be prepared for the steep hill you need to climb to get back to the apartment! Do not underestimate it! But overall this was a lovely stay with an amazing host with GORGEOUS lake views and a huge balcony.

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Serena's place is absolutely lovely, we felt right at home straight away. The accomodation is spotlessly clean and in a very pretty area that is easily accessed by car or public transport. there is a free night bus that runs up and down the road to Varenna between 7pm-Midnight which is very convenient. Perledo is a very tranquil place with fantastic views. We were checked in by Serena's father who was very helpful and then visited by Serena soon after. Both were very lovely and helpful and passed great knowledge of their local area. We were even lucky enough to get a free pass to Vezio castle which had some of the best views I've seen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Valeria in Perledo! From start to finish, Fabio was an exceptional host—kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed, and even offered to drive us to the train station upon checkout if we couldn’t secure a taxi. That kind of hospitality really stands out! The apartment itself was perfect—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials. The view is truly breathtaking—honestly, the photos don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful it is in person. Fabio also made it easy for us to get to and from Varenna with helpful info on local buses and taxi options. There’s also a grocery store and a bar just a five-minute walk away, which was super convenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Casa Valeria for anyone visiting the Lake Como area!
