Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Playacar

We loved staying at Dmitri's place! its situated in a complex of condos within a private estate, the whole area is incredibly safe and we felt more than safe walking round at night. the airbnb was nicer than a hotel, large, spacious, clean, towels on hand and the patio leads right out to the pool. the pool was huge and had a swim up bar which we LOVED. Felt so much nicer than an all inclusive resort. the pool has plenty of deck chairs and is generally very quiet. it's a 30 minute walk to the town which we loved exploring in the evening would 10/10 recommend to a friend and stay here again if we came back :)

The space was a studio, but the location was great - very close to everything. It was super clean, and it felt secure. We had a car, and it was super easy to park under the building. The kitchen was well outfitted, and had everything we needed for coffee in the morning. Andres was a very communicative host, and we appreciated the list of restaurant recommendations he’d provided.

The apartment is great, very comfortable and just like the photos. The location is perfect if you plan to visit the Xcaret parks. We will definitely stay at this place again.

We historically been resort people in Mexico. Took a chance on an Airbnb and let me tell you - NO REGRETS. Do it now! Great value, amazing restaurants to walk to, safe and there is a great roof top pool with cash bar. You’ll have the resort experience with a much better value. Thank you to our host.

This place is excellent. I highly recommend staying here as its within walking distance to everything (beach, supermarket, and unlimited restaurants, bars, shops 5th Avenue and all the hot spots). The apartment had everything needed and more. We didn't use the balcony or the pool due to construction and dust everywhere, but other than that, it was excellent. You couldn't hear the construction from the bedroom, so it didn't bother us much. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable to me, but my husband didn't mind it too much. You can't please everyone with the bed, so it's fine. The room is really dark, so you will get some really good sleep in there. The gym is small, but had everything needed for a great workout. There is a sports complex right nextdoor too. Overall, I highly recommend this place as it has everything you need and more. we would definitely stay here again!

Gem! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. This Airbnb exceeded all expectations! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. But the true highlight? The swimming pool. The pool area felt like a private oasis — crystal clear water, comfortable lounge chairs, and just the right mix of sun and shade. We spent our mornings enjoying coffee by the water and our evenings watching the sunset poolside with a glass of wine. It was peaceful, serene, and incredibly rejuvenating. Our host was just as wonderful as the home — responsive, thoughtful, and full of helpful local recommendations that made our trip even better. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and truly escape, this is it. We’re already planning our next trip back. Don’t hesitate — book it!

Carlos was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. The pictures represented the space very well. Bed and couch were super comfy. Water pressure wasn’t ideal, but in large complex’s that can sometimes be the case.

Maria is a wonderful host and her condo is very comfortable and clean. The bakery across the street was delicious and we also enjoyed the Italian restaurant. Otherwise we walked about 15 min to the tourist area which had so many choices for food! We also walked to Sams Club (taxi back) for food cooked at the Air bnb. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The pool was very nice and lying in a hammock in the pool heavenly! Highly recommend!

Perfect small accommodation in front of the beach and with a rooftop pool. The Airbnb was very well equipped, it lacked nothing! Miguel responds fairly quickly. I would recommend it!

Very nice and clean. Very close to attractions, beach 5 min walk and local Walmart 14 min walk. Outside patio and plunge pool was a great added touch. Also, a little bar next door to the condo building. Only downside was I wish the bed was more comfortable.

Very good location! The place is very nice and comfortable, good customer service from the reception, perfect if you are looking for something near Fifth Avenue and the ferry to Cozumel but in a quiet area, close to restaurants. The roof has a nice view.

Great apartment in a nice condo complex. It’s worth noting that if you’re after beach time to note that Playa del Carmen and that coast gets a lot of seaweed from May thru August apparently, so be prepared for the smell and not using the sea much. The apartment is wonderful, well lit, very spacious and well equipped. The host is very responsive. The pool setup is great, added bonus having same shade over the pool. Staff at the complex are fantastic. Overall we enjoyed our stay here

I travel to Playa frequently and usually stay at an Airbnb, and this was by far the best one I’ve stayed in. It’s the perfect location on beautiful 38th street, but inside the condo it’s very peaceful. I’ll definitely stay there again if available!

The house is simply beautiful, it has all the amenities and tools to spend time with the family, spacious, clean and very well maintained. Ana's attentions were very good, always attentive and with good recommendations. The location is very good, nice area, the residential area is very quiet and above all safe. I loved the attention of the hosts, they saved me from not spending the night in the car with 7 young girls, the Airbnb I rented for my vacation made us have a bad time and we had to leave it, I contacted the hosts late at night and they were accessible and quick, they made it easy for us to live in the apartment in less than 10 minutes, 🤗 they were angels for us, the place is comfortable, safe and with super clear and precise directions, they are in contact and always available, I recommend them 100%

My family and I had a really nice and relaxing time while staying at the Altaria Residencial. The grounds were clean and truly enjoyed laying out by the beautiful pool.
