Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Playa Guiones

We had a fantastic and relaxing time in Samara. The house is very comfortable, with the best beds of our Costa Rica trip. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything was as described. The pool, while small, entertained the kids after a half day at the beach. Two things to note if you're going to book. 1) You may think it is walkable to Samara, and technically it is, but in the heat of the day it is not. 2) The public utility infrastructure of Samara is under strain, so expect blackouts and at certain times of the day a dribble of water pressure. This is a Costa Rica thing, not a house thing. We had a fantastic time.

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

My little family of four found the place cosy, clean, and in a great location. If walkability is important to you, this spot is awesome. Great, clean pool for cooling off and nice AC and internet. Would stay here again!

An unparalleled place, perfect to unplug and spend some incredible days! Just 15 minutes from downtown Marbella, easy access to the other beaches. The house is as shown in the photos, we saw some beautiful sunsets from the pool, with 24/7 security, I would definitely come back and recommend it

The place is beautiful, the views were spectacular and super private. The room has many very well thought out details and everything is super clean. But without a doubt, the best part of all was the treatment of Alex and the woman I was with in the kitchen. They both made us feel right at home and made the stay a 10 experience.

Mommy/daughter graduation trip! She loves everything nature and that’s exactly what we got! Our Airbnb was in a beautiful gated community with some of the best host! Gino, Lesley and Jason Crespo! I was worried about bugs, especially spiders. Didn’t have an issue with either, our place was always clean and super cool! ! Loved how close it was to several beaches and amazing restaurants! We got to see howling monkeys and learn all about them as well! Make sure you rent some 4wheelers to get you around! That was so cool 😎 We are already planning our next trip!

Amazing beautiful place! Just as described comfortable for 4 people, 2 couples. So cute. Host did help us find it as we arrived late at night and needed assistance. Would come again.

We loved staying at Stephen's place. We enjoyed the privacy it offered while also having easy access to a beautiful beach and within a short walk to a great little bodega and awesome lunch/coffee spot. The location itself was a great spot for our family, but could easily and comfortably fit two families. Kattia was very kind and helpful as well - we hope to be back soon :)

Wonderful trip to Nosara and Caroline’s place was perfect for our family of four. We loved being able to walk to Playa Pelada, being right above sunrise coffee (a daily staple for us and top place to visit, even if you aren’t staying right above it), and being in a small community of 4 homes with a basically private pool. Tiffany was a great local host who was super responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend the place to others.

Amazing spot, a little hard to get to if you have a regular car however not impossible. a 4x4 is recommended but not a must. otherwise this place is magical and highly recomended

We had the most incredible time at this gorgeous spot. Daniella was wonderful to deal with, so easy to get a hold of, attentive and great to chat with. Always had excellent suggestions and recommendations, she made our stay feel so easy and she was so accommodating. The house is very well thought out, spacious beyond what the photos show and the most amazing backyard filled with howler monkeys throughout the trees that greet you in the mornings and afternoons. Had absolutely everything you could think of needing for a relaxing adults trip. A 5 minute drive to the beach town of Samara, which was wonderful to adventure around, so many great beach bars and open market style restaurants with fantastic food! Heritage Bar was a favourite with some of the best burgers and Indian food I’ve ever had! Only 10 minutes to playa carillo. I wish we had booked this spot for longer!

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful casita of cally and scott. On the terrace with the pool opposite the rainforest and yet central in Samara and not far from the beach, you could relax wonderfully. And listen to the howler monkeys and birds. Even a hummingbird came to the property. Cally and Scott were super accessible. Your explanations regarding the locks, etc. were simple and good. Overall, we found a few too many rules for our taste, but that also made everything clear. The decor of the house is tasteful, which we loved.

Our family of six had a wonderful stay in Sámara! The property was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our visit. The pool was absolutely massive and a perfect way to cool off after a day of exploring the area. The location was great—within walking distance to several grocery stores and restaurants. The driveway is a bit steep, so we rented a quad from just across the street, which made getting around super easy and fun. Leonie was an excellent host—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend this place to other families visiting the area!

Great location and comfort. beds a little hard

The place is super cute, with lots of green areas and a gorgeous garden. The house is beautiful and very spacious, ideal for six people. It is super well located, just a few minutes from the center of Nicoya. Katia and Carlos were excellent hosts: always attentive, very friendly, and answered all our questions with patience. The place has many fruit trees, which attracts a variety of birds. If they like the observation, it's perfect: we saw trogones, aracaris, titiras, motomotos and more. The pool is beautiful, as is the ranch, ideal for relaxing surrounded by nature. We will definitely be back!

Place was a great find, it’s tucked away off the road under a canopy of trees and plants. Very quiet, surrounded by nature. Jason and Lesley were always responsive, and great hosts. Bed, pillows were very comfortable and the place had everything I needed. This is actually my 2nd time staying on this property (different studio unit) and I love it out here. Having some type of transport is helpful but tuktuk can also pick you up! I choose because of the privacy and quietness. Having the gate feels safe for a solo traveler

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

It was exactly what we expected, because all the descriptions fully matched what we got. We were ready that the access to the house is not easy because of the tide, we were ready that the house would be small, but or was ok for us, because we stayed only 2 nights. And we DIDN’T want noisy restaurants nearby, so we got what we wanted, Thank you so much!!!❤️

5 stars!!! 10/10 stay! Juliet and Eric were truly the BEST hosts I’ve ever had. So kind, compassionate, and quick to jump on anything that came up. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable the entire time. Any issue that popped up (usually something totally out of their control, like the elements or nature just doing its thing in Costa Rica) was handled right away with care and a great attitude. Their casita is beautiful, clean, and perfectly set up for a longer stay. I was there for six months and had everything I needed. It’s in a safe, peaceful spot and not far from the beach. The property is super well maintained, lush, and tidy, and the decor is so tasteful and cozy. I honestly felt so lucky to have found this place. If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate. You’ll be in great hands with Juliet and Eric! :)

We loved this little getaway. We used the bikes to check the waves for surfing. It was close to everything but very private.

The place was very clean and just as described in the listing. The host was very responsive and the roads are confusing but the directions are clear.
