Villa holiday rentals in Playa de Matagorda

Stayed with our 2 year old for a week and it was simply beautiful! Warm pool for kids, beautiful decked area, great hot tub for us in evening. Truly home from home experience and everything you need. Philippa was great bringing us a mattress the next day for our toddler when there wasn’t one readily available, she also kindly let us check out late so he could have his midday nap (saving us from grumpy toddler all afternoon🙏) Would book again without hesitation. X

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt! Das Haus ist genauso, wie es in der Beschreibung und auf den Fotos gezeigt wird – absolut authentisch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Schon bei der Ankunft haben wir uns wie im Urlaub gefühlt. Das tolle Welcome Package mit frischem Obst, Snacks, kaltem Bier, Wasser und Wein war eine super Überraschung und ein perfekter Start in die Ferien. Bruno war ein fantastischer Gastgeber – freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat uns alles rund ums Haus bestens erklärt. Auch der Pool war ein Highlight – sauber, gepflegt und einfach herrlich zum Entspannen. Man merkt sofort, dass sich hier alle sehr um das Haus kümmern. Die Lage ist ideal, wenn man mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs ist und die Insel individuell erkunden möchte. Wer keine Lust auf große Hotelanlagen hat und lieber ein bisschen abseits wohnt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful villa! The space is bright, spacious, and spotlessly clean – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The villa is in a great location with excellent restaurants and a small supermarket which has all the basics just a short walk away. The main strip is only a 5-minute drive (or a €6 taxi ride), so it was really easy to get around. The outdoor area was a real highlight – the heated pool was lovely, and there’s also a small splash pool for little ones (not heated), plus a table tennis table and outdoor games to keep everyone entertained. There was plenty of space for the whole family to spread out and enjoy. Our host was absolutely amazing – friendly, responsive, and always quick to help with any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and would definitely return

Par où commencer … la maison a une vue époustouflante… que l on se trouve dans la cuisine , salon ou la chambre principale !!! C était d une propreté remarquable !! La literie et le calme était très appréciable ! La maison est habitée d une âme bienveillante !!! On voit que c est une maison aimée et non un logement à louer !!!!il ne manque absolument rien dans la cuisine pour faire un bon repas en famille …Vous avez compris nous avons adoré notre logement et l Ile et tout simplement un bijou ❤️Ramon a été d une flexibilité pour l heure d arrivée ou de départ !!! L accueil de Lydia fut solaire !!!Merci Ramon pour votre bienveillance !!!

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt mit direkter Lage am Meer gehabt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben auch gerne die Badestelle in der Nähe genutzt. Die Gastgeberin konnte uns auch mit Tipps z.B. für einen lokalen Markt unterstützen.

We had a lovely week away in Nazaret. The villa was absolutely beautiful and the views were stunning. The villa is very spacious, and there are lots of different little areas to sit in, inside and out. The property was very well equipped - the coffee machine particularly was a nice touch. Our kids loved swimming in the spacious pool every day. We also really enjoyed the privacy and quiet of the house, but with it still being easy to access other areas of the island. Carlos and Diana were very responsive and helpful hosts, both before our arrival and during. We definitely hope to return soon, thanks for a lovely holiday!

Séjour parfait ! Le logement était exactement comme décrit, très propre, confortable et idéalement situé. Tout était pensé pour que nous nous sentions comme chez nous. Logement avec des équipements pour bébé. Pedro et Helena sont très accueillant et réactifs. Encore merci pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse. Je recommande ce logement ! 🤗

Perfect villa. Clean and exactly like the pictures. We had a lovely time here and the villa had everything we needed including some basics for cleaning and cooking. Caterina was a perfect host. She responded quickly to our messages, gave us great suggestions, and was very accommodating. Casa Geca is in a nice quiet area and has a local supermarket just 15 minutes walk away - which has everything you’d need for self catering. The pool was the ideal size for cooling off in and the air con was brilliant. We’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a chill pool holiday.

What an amazing villa, it's stunning, sheer luxury with so much attention to detail, everything is so well thought out. The panoramic views are breathtaking. We spent a week there with our family, spent most of our time at the villa as it was just so beautiful. Heated pool was brilliant and aircon well worth it. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The villa had everything we needed and more. Loved the quiet location, some lovely local restaurants close by, the Rubicon Marina definitely worth a visit. The host Marcia was absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, she was so helpful with local information and very quick to respond when we contacted her. We all fell in love with this villa, didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.

Wir können die Villa Infinity nur empfehlen. Die Villa ist sehr schön, man hat viel Platz und Privatsphäre. Eine tolle Lage, ruhig und es ist nicht weit zum Einkaufen oder Essen gehen. Cannot recommend Jen's villa enough. Jen's was the perfect host - very friendly and quickly responded to any queries/issues we had. The villa itself was incredible and had all the amenities you need for your stay. We were a family of 9 adults and 1 baby and we had plenty of space, we didn't feel overcrowded at all. The bedrooms were spotless and each room having their own ensuite bathroom was an added bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed - from utensils, glassware and condiments. The livingroom was also a great space with card games and a large tv with multiple channels and apps - every little detail has been considered. The garden space provided plenty of entertainment - the swimming pool was a great size and the hot tub was a nice extra. The table tennis and pool table were good fun too. Would 100% revisit Jen's villa - thank you 😊

The villa is perfect everything was spotlessly clean , comfy beds, great size pool, lovely to be able to swim every morning and out door space was great size. 5 mins walk to Rubicon Marina, 15/20 mins to Playa Blanca, 3 mini supermarkets all within 5/10 mins. We ate at flamingo beach in Casa Jaoqion restaurant (think that’s the correct spelling) fantastic view and great food. Oasis bar at the marina rubicon is very chilled with great food. Oliver responded within minutes of we ever needed anything and also booked us a couple of taxis. We managed to locate a luggage storage place which we booked on our last day as had 4 hours to hang about, this was booked online and drop off and collection of our suitcases was very straight forward. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back again. Thank you Oliver

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the villa. The villa was just the right size for all 14 of us with everyone having enough space. The place was clean and we were even welcomed with complimentary wine and other drinks. The villa is close to the beach, shops, parks and water parks. With the view of the hill’s beautiful throughout the day. The kids especially loved the pool table, dart board and tv to chill out with. The kitchen could do with more utensils like a wooden spoon, tongs and a larger frying pan. An air fryer would have been helpful also as cooking for 14 people in one oven was at times tricky! The page listed a sofa bed which was needed for my family as we had a few in need of a single bed space. However upon arriving I was then told there was no sofa bed as advertised. This was not great news, my nephew ended up sleeping on a mattress and my toddler in the bed with me. This needs to be rectified. Apart from that, it was a great stay!!

Nous remercions vraiement Delphine et Alain pour les vacances exceptionnelles passées à Lanzarote! La Villa Dora est vraiement conforme aux photos, voir même encore mieux. Quelle vue ! La maison est grande et propre , et chacun avait beaucoup d’espace, ce qui était très agréable quand on veut s’isoler .La cuisine est tres bien equipée. L’espace piscine est très très agréable pour lire et se détendre , nous profitions également tous les soirs du jacuzzi . Le jardin est très bien entretenu avec une variété de plantes que nous ne trouvons pas chez nous. La villa est à 2 minutes en voiture du magnifique village de Teguise ( et de ses restaurants , marché et magasins), et bénéficie d’un emplacement central sur l’île, ce qui nous a permis d’explorer facilement cette très belle île. Famara et sa magnifique plage est à quelques kms , ainsi que le golf de Costa Teguise. Le soir nous avons pu profiter du très agréable resto de la Cueva de Lagomar, à quelques minutes à pied de la villa .

I don’t often write reviews on here, but I had to write about our stay at Villa Joel! It was perfect!! The villa is spotlessly clean, and has everything you could want. We were a family of six staying to celebrate my Mums retirement and we had a wonderful stay. The pool table was a great addition, as was the hot tub on some of the cloudier days. The villa is in a perfect location, it’s in walking distance to shops and restaurants on the busy strip or short taxi to Old Town (Jill’s taxi instructions are spot on and so helpful) but despite its proximity to the strip it is so quiet. Jill popped in to see us on our first day and is so helpful. We will be back to stay at Villa Joel for sure! Thank you so much Jill!!

Amazing Villa in a great position, full of all the amenities you might need and with clear check in-out instructions. Communication with the host is smooth and the Villa is to die for!

Beaucoup de charme, une ancienne bodega transformée en habitation. Le jardin de cactus est superbe avec une jolie piscine dans l'esprit de César Manrique. La route un peu proche peut faire peur mais en réalité aucun bruit, on ne l'entend pas et toutes les fenêtres ont une vue incroyable sur le Parc Timanfaya, on a jamais la vue sur la route, on l'oublie très vite. Alessandro qui nous a accueilli est vraiment très sympa et ouvert.

We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment in Coronas! Everything was absolutely perfect—immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well-equipped. The apartment had literally everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The location is amazing—right next to a lovely swimming pool, in a peaceful and pleasant area, and just a short walk to the beach. We especially appreciated how well thought-out the space was—stylish, cozy, and with all the little touches that make you feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay especially with Alejandra as a host, she was super friendly and nothing was an issue. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lanzarote as a family. We’d love to come back!

This was our 4th stay here, we love it. Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, relaxing and the pool is great, no complaints at all, perfect!

Wir haben uns gemeinsam mit unseren beiden, erwachsenden Söhnen sehr wohl in der Villa gefühlt, über den Begrüßungsbrotkorb haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Die Villa ist gemütlich und ruhig gelegen in direkter Nachbarschaft zu LagoMar. Sie liegt mitten auf der Insel und ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Tagestrips mit dem Auto. Die alte Hauptstadt Teguise ist zu Fuß über eine kleinen Feldweg in 20 min zu erreichen. Das Haus hat eine gute Aufteilung, ist sauber, ordentlich und äußerst gemütlich. Die Ausstattung ist komplett, das Haus ist augenscheinlich aus den Siebzigerjahren und teilweise in die Jahre gekommen. Die Außenterrasse ist sehr weitläufig und bietet viele Sonnen- und Schattenplätze mit vielfältigen Sitzmöglichkeiten und hat einen großen Swimmingpool. Von der Terrasse guten Blick auf Arrecife und San Bartolome. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern und die Übergabe waren perfekt und problemlos, wir kommen gerne wieder. We only spent a very brief but fantastic time at ‘Castillo Lanzarote’, staying in Villa Bentley’ Check in/out was very simple with very clear instructions but do be aware this delightful villa is located on the side of a steep hill so has many steps and different levels to it which I think bring it wonderful character but not ideal for those with mobility issues. The villa itself is very beautifully and cleverly laid out over numerous levels, built literally into the side of the hill. The pool is a much welcomed dip on a hot day and with its stunning views down to the coast, is fantastic. The villa has all the amenities you need with the surprise welcome of a dishwasher as we cooked a few meals ‘at home’. We had a hire car which was very handy as the villa is situated around 15 mins drive from the main (and if I’m honest, rather grotty) Puerto del Carmen. I would personally suggest exploring nearby Playa Blanca/Costa Teguise and Puerto Calero.

Perfect location for travelling. Quiet area but there were restaurants and shops a short walk away. The villa was superb and had everything that we needed to feel at home. Entertainment system excellent ! Nice touches like a bottle of wine and snacks on arrival.

Very modern, very clean & comfortable stay. Lovely welcome basket which was handy, including wine, biscuits, fruit, water. Great as we arrived in the evening. Also, cleaning products there to use which saved having to buy. Quiet enough location, 10 mins walk to Marina & 10 mins walk to Dorada beach. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

A fantastic property! Absolutely loved our stay. Quiet neighbourhood, yet unbelievably close to the beach and the seafront restaurants and shops. Villa is a great size--big kitchen and sitting room, unique bathroom, nice size bedrooms, quirky architecture -- a perfect oasis! The pool area is so tranquil. The swimming pool and hot tub is much larger than expected, and both are in perfect condition and clean. The outdoor furniture was great too! Host was helpful and friendly. Property is private and secure. Cannot wait to return!
