Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Playa Carrillo

This was our second time staying in Puerto Carrillo area and we loved it. One of our favorite places. The house was great for 4 people. Had everything you would need. The pool area is beautiful and private and we loved listening to the birds and animals at night. The TV was broken when we arrived and Danny responded to us immediately and brought us a new TV the next day. Would recommend this place!!!

We had a fantastic and relaxing time in Samara. The house is very comfortable, with the best beds of our Costa Rica trip. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything was as described. The pool, while small, entertained the kids after a half day at the beach. Two things to note if you're going to book. 1) You may think it is walkable to Samara, and technically it is, but in the heat of the day it is not. 2) The public utility infrastructure of Samara is under strain, so expect blackouts and at certain times of the day a dribble of water pressure. This is a Costa Rica thing, not a house thing. We had a fantastic time.

The house is nicer then the pictures! Early check-in was a plus. Secluded, no neighbors. Safe, private parking✅ Nice view✅ Hot water✅ Strong AC✅

We had a great time at Julio’s. The place is short walk from the beach and the town center. There are plenty of sodas near by. Loved the accessibility, we could go grab something to eat and go the beach and head back change and go out for drinks. Though we had a car, we loved the accessibility and preferred walking. Julio was very friendly and gave us good recommendations and was very responsive.

We stayed in three different Airbnbs while in Costa Rica for two weeks and this spot was hands down our favorite. It's nestled in a neighborhood just outside of town and is a lovely secluded getaway while still being near everything you'd like. We had an SUV as our rental, I do advise having a rental car or a UTV while you are here to get around. Blair has some fantastic recommendations for where to watch the sunset, dining, and things to do. He clearly knows the area like the back of his hand and wants to ensure that your stay is as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. Would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a trip to this area. Nosara is such a magical place and you will truly be blown away by the beauty of it all!

This place is stunning! It's up in the hills and super quiet. This modern home was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed. All the glass windows remind you that you are in the jungle and to slow down, what an amazing space. Claudia the property manager is fantastic and responsive. This rental is a treasure and feels like a real treat. Thank you for sharing it 🙏

The place was comfy and I felt like home. The house was equipped and perfect to spend quality time. The host was helpful, friendly and proactive! We definitely will come back! Thank youuu!

Right in the heart of a wild Reserve, with beautiful birds flying round as you relax by the pool with freshly made juice in hand and your jumbo shrimp on the bbq. What more could you want? Walk 10min and your on an epic surf beach, Playa Camaronal. Most consistent in the region and very few people ever on it. Drive further and you have the most secluded peaceful beaches where turtles lay their eggs at night (4x4 recommend ). Drive 10min the opposite direction and your on a huge white beach lined with shady palm trees; Playa Carrillo is a local favorite on the weekends but empty all week. Dayana was an amazing host, she was so quick to respond and bring anything we needed to the property. Didn't need much as the place was impressively kitted out. She had loads of suggestions where to go and was super understanding of our needs with a 16month old. Perfect place for kids in the gated compound. You can even rent all 3 flats so the whole family are together.

Realmente la estadía fue maravillosa, todos pasamos un buen rato y la piscina tenía un tamaño muy bonito. Dani es una anfitriona maravillosa, estuvo pendiente en todo momento de lo que necesitábamos y en los momentos que nos comunicamos con ella respondió súper rápido y sus respuesta fueron efectivas. Nos día mucha flexibilidad en la llegada. Respecto al lugar, está súper equipado, tiene de todo para cocinar e incluso pudimos hacer carne asada en la parrilla de afuera. Los cuartos súper bien, muy cómodos y a pesar que uno no tiene aire es bastante fresco por qué Dani nos proporcionó otro ventilador. A la llegada todo súper súper limpio, le daríamos 1000 estrellas por qué salimos súper felices y la estadía fue genial

Lugar muy cómodo y tranquilo. Cerca de playas! Recomendado!

Pasamos un par de días fantásticos en esta villa, las fotos son tal cual la publicación. Ten cuidado de elegir bien la ruta, nosotras pasamos por una zona de terracería de más de una hora, baja waze o infórmate más antes de tomar carretera.

We had a great time at Villa Lasai! Sophie- the concierge, did a great job assisting us with anything we needed and the house itself is exactly what you see on the pictures- gorgeous with breathtaking views, great pool and outdoor area. I am not an early bird by any means but I enjoyed waking up early in this house a lot- hearing all the forest inhabitants, ocean waves breaking somewhere further make you want to start your day to see/feel more of that. The house is located up the hill and the road is partially paved which took us one full round trip to get used to, but once you get a hang of it- it’s totally fine just a bit bumpy. In terms of proximity to everything the location is great, once you’re down the hill- you’re on the main street of Santa Teresa with all the restaurants, shops and tons of ocean access points. Overall, would definitely recommend Villa Lasai and would love to come back here some time in the future!

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

Our friends rented this house a year ago and loved it so much that we decided to book it for our honeymoon, and we are happy we did. The Casa Mirame concierge team made everything flawless - from restaurant recommendations and setting up excursions, to even booking our 4x4 rental at the Cobano Airport. You need 4x4. The road is steep and partially unpaved. However, the drive is more than worth it. The home is spotless, includes daily maid service, looks better than the photos, and the views are magical. The place is totally private, and the pool is AMAZING. We would watch birds and listen to monkeys and the waves in the distance while the sun set.

Highly recommend! Very unique and tucked away spot away from the hustle and bustle of Nosara. Irene is responsive, helpful and very friendly.

La villa es hermosa, cómoda y privada. Jefrey es un excelente anfitrión, es amable y accesible. Nuestra estadía fue en época lluviosa por lo que la calle estaba en muy mal estado, tomarlo en cuenta si vas con un auto tipo sedán, y la villa está un poquito alejada del pueblito donde se pueden comprar comestibles. Dejando esto de lado, es un lugar que vale totalmente la pena visitar.

My family of four had a wonderful time at Casa Vidrio. Nicole was a fabulous host - super responsive and she even offered us a late check out to accommodate our evening flight home. The house is gorgeous and modern. We woke up to the sound of howler monkeys frolicking in the trees outside our window and looked forward to our daily visit from the local coatie who would swing by to cool off in the pool for a few minutes before moving along. Despite being an open floor plan we had no issues with insects save the occasional ants and dragonflies all to be expected. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and the felt right at home. We loved staying in Playa Pelada and had the easiest time getting to and from Playa Guiones each day in our golf cart. I highly recommend staying at Casa Vidria if you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's still close enough to enjoy all the fun of Nosara.

Beautiful place! We saw monkeys, birds, butterflies, raccoons, a beach view, and a well-equipped kitchen and bedrooms. As noted in the pictures, the pool was nice. It was a last-minute reservation, and Alejandro was kind to accommodate my group on short notice. Alejandro was responsive and resolved anything quickly. We had a great time in Santa Teresa and Mal País. It is like living in the mountain nature but in a house :-). We loved the concept of the architecture, and we felt secure.

A little away from the tourist hotspots, but within minutes' reach by car, Jeremias' property is located on a quiet side street. We lived in the Gypsy Cave for eight days, a tastefully and creatively built and furnished house on two floors: downstairs a cozy living room, a well-stocked outdoor kitchen, a terrace with seating, a bathroom and upstairs two bedrooms, each with two good double beds. The house has everything you need: fans, air conditioning on both floors, fast WiFi. Jeremias lives with his wife and child on the property, which is also home to a lovingly run place for children - the "Wild Child Play Garden". We really enjoyed spending the mornings on the veranda couch, watching the sun rise, watching birds, squirrels, howler monkeys and lizards, having breakfast and hearing the sounds of children playing in the background. the house and the entire place have a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, communication with Jeremias and his wife is uncomplicated and supportive on all levels

Increíble alojamiento pero hay que tomar en cuenta que únicamente puedes llegar en 4x4. Todo estaba impecable y siempre hubo respuesta rápida del propietario para facilitarnos todo.
