Lovely stay in York, being able to leave the car in a private spot during the day and walk to the town centre was definitely a bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple cooking and the bathroom was very clean. We didn’t get bothered by neighbours or outside noise during the night so that was perfect ! Gary gave very clear instructions and was quick to respond whenever I messaged him. Would definitely recommend !

I had a lovely stay here—very peaceful and comfortable. The accommodation is separate but close to the main house, so you occasionally see people passing the windows or working in the garden. Not a problem, just something to note. The bed was comfy, temperature perfect, and the shower worked great. There’s no kitchen, which made things a bit tricky. A microwave, toaster, and kettle are provided, but the toaster set off the fire alarm twice during my stay. And there’s no sink—so dishes have to be washed in the bathroom with no drying space. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the bus runs regularly (just not exactly as listed on Google—usually 5 minutes later). The listing was accurate about the location and facilities. I enjoyed my time here and would recommend this place to other travellers.

This is a really beautiful property! Although one has to deal with many steps, the beauty and peacefulness and quiet are really worth it. It is comfortable, well equipped, and quiet, with a really charming balcony to sit on – a lovely view of the Abbey. Very easy access to town, beaches, et cetera. The host was helpful, and answered our queries fully and promptly. We would certainly recommend it.

This is my second stay here. I cannot fault anything about the apartment. The bed is extremely comfortable, everything is exceptionally clean and there is plenty of hot water. It is in a great location within easy walking distance to Harrogate town centre and all the restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here.

A beautifully appointed, stylish downstairs flat with exceptionally tasteful decor and fittings all to a very high standard. A luxurious kitchen with everything provided including complimentary teas and coffee as well as milk in the fridge which was very much appreciated and a good range of quality kitchen appliances and crockery. Excellent host who communicated perfectly and provided clear instructions about the facilities available. We definitely have this on our list for a return visit sometime and have already recommended it to friends and family.

A wonderful stay in York, we didn't want to be in the centre but with the bus stop at the end of the road it was a 15 minute journey into town and the train station (number 1 bus was the best to take). Quiet location, the place was lovely, clean and just what we wanted. Comfy beds and nice big sofas to chill. Would highly recommend and will definitely like to return. Thank you Jen

Joanne’s place is very comfortable and just a short walk from the village centre. The breakfast in the cafe on site was delicious. Joanne was very welcoming. We will stay again when back in the area.

We stayed on a bank holiday and it was honestly one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we have stayed. The bed was so comfortable and we slept amazing! The location is so easy to find and was right near everything which made it so easy to go to places. Parking was perfect and meant we didn’t have to worry about parking and could just leave the car and go and explore.The hosts were so friendly and easy to contact however we didn’t have an any problems while staying which made our trip even better. The apartment was spotless and designed beautifully but the view from the living room made it even better as we could see the castle and beach. We would definitely recommend booking here!

The apartment was very clean, tidy, modern, cozy and very bright. In overall, it is a lovely place which made us feel very comfortable. It had everything we needed during our stay and everything was as described and shown in the photos. The area is very safe and quiet but also comfortable when it comes to getting to the railway station, which for us was perfect as we had many luggage and didn't need to pay a taxi. It is also close to the centre and can get there by walking. The building itself is also clean, safe, green and quiet. Mark and Donna were really obliging, they answered all our questions, helped us with everything and had everything sorted. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting York!

A lovely few days away with my 10 year old in a fun and quirky place full of character and thought. Great to be able to park on the street as York city centre parking is extortionate. Lots of fun touches in the accommodation. The weather was hot when we were there, so a fan of lighter sheets would have been a welcome addition.

The Tack Room was absolutely beautiful. So comfortable, cosy, charming and in very pretty surroundings. It had everything we needed. My dog Monty loved his twice daily walks in the gardens (huge) and by the lake. All of the other accommodation in the grounds also looked beautiful and whilst most seemed to be booked it was really quiet. Fabulous local area, with so many things to do that we're going to have to come back and stay again. Charles was a fantastic host.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay over the weekend. The apartment was as described, nice and clean. Our hosts were amazing and very responsive. Will definitely re-book if another trip to York is planned. Highly recommend ☺️

A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

4 of us stayed in this 2 bedroom apartment in Tory's Airbnb in Scarborough. It had all been newly refurbished to a high standard. There was everything you needed for a relaxing holiday. There was milk, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, croissants, freshly cut flowers. It was an extra special touch to our stay. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again 😊

Fantastic place to stay, great location has everything you need and more. The only thing I would say is the main door downstairs to get in is quite tricky the key needs to be wiggled quite a bit to get it to open. A hard turn to the left gets it working once you know how. We loved our stay the home is gorgeous inside and couldn’t recommend staying here enough. We are already looking at dates to book to come back in a few months time

Stayed here for a night with some friends for a birthday get together.. we all had a fab time and couldn’t believe how amazing the place was inside, even more amazing in person than the pictures! So much detail and space, almost feels magical I don’t think you could have the same experience in a regular hotel or home. So much effort has been made to make the place enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn’t thank Jennifer and Brian enough for welcoming us and being so friendly and helpful, overall great experience we had a fab time! We will be back Thankyou again xxx

My wife and I had an amazing 2 night stay. Great location and fabulous views. The Hot tub was superb, we were lucky enough to catch two beautiful sunsets. Whitby centre is only a small walk away, with loads to do. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful cozy farmhouse in a lovely town near Leeds. The place was absolutely gorgeous - warm, inviting, and full of charm. The hot tub was amazing, and there were plenty of games to enjoy. The host was super helpful and thoughtful with great local recommendations as well as leaving crumpets, fresh milk and butter and a selection of cereals and snacks for us to enjoy. No negatives, highly recommend!

Clean easy stress free check in, would recommend!

As a solo traveller looking for some peace and quiet, it was absolutely ideal. The village itself is beautiful but also very, very quiet - no shops, restaurants or pubs so do be mindful if you're wanting somewhere that has these to offer. The only downfall I would say was that the hot tub was available (you need to book a slot) at an extra fee (£10 for myself for a 2hr session) which doesn't seem much, but given the total cost of the stay, I did expect it to be included - however it was still a lovely experience and the shared garden is lovely if you're just wanting to unwind outdoors.

Honestly had the best experience. The place was so cosy and nice .. I loved the jacuzzi and rainforest shower. The host was so inviting, kind and helpful . I would definitely come again :)
