Waterfront holiday rentals in Pickens County

This was truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed! Usually after a day or two - I’m ready to go home - but not from this magical place. We love secluded, beautiful places we can travel with our dogs - and this one was the most perfect we have ever found!!! As a bonus the apartment was spotless and Holly was super responsive to all my way too many text messages!!! We can’t wait to go back!!

Amelia is a super host! She was always responsive, before and during our stay with clear communication about everything. She provided flexibility on check-in and check-out. The condo is about a 5 minute drive to Clemson's campus, which made it the perfect location for us to visit our son there and attend a football game. It was exactly as described/ pictured, squeaky clean, nicely updated, and quiet (on the 3rd floor). It is located in an older complex, but inside the condo has been completely updated with brand new flooring, bathrooms, countertops, appliances, etc. TVs are in every room, but you will probably not want to stay inside much....it's on the lake! We didn't get down to the lake, but we could see the lake from the balcony of the condo. Parking was always available all weekend, directly in front. Everything we could have possibly needed was there, and it was in places we would expect to find it! We are already picking dates to go back to this AirBNB! Thank you, Amelia!

The time we spent at Heron's Roots was wonderful. Waking up in the morning overlooking the lake filled us with such peace. It's a place with beautiful vegetation and filled with many little birds that captivated us with their singing. San and her husband are wonderful people and very attentive, making our stay very pleasant and making us feel at home. Upon arriving in our hometown of Orlando, we were already missing the place and the peace it offered us. Thank you, San & Karl, for sharing such a beautiful place. We were extremely pleased the moment we walked into the unit. Beautiful inside, room for everyone, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, super quiet and peaceful. The coffee bar and water fridge was stocked, assorted munchie basket and the quality bathroom towels were the added touches that a lot of previous Airbnbs have missed. The hosts were kind and proactive and we did not need one thing. My adult kids sat down for chess and that was the bonding time we’ve been wanting to have. The patio/balcony provided the best coffee and cocktail time. My favorite place 💜🧡 GO TIGERS

We had a great weekend staying at Jeff's house. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of supplies on hand. The pond has frogs, geese, and plenty of fish. We love the afternoon sounds of the bullfrogs. A very peaceful place to be. We will definitely return in the near future!

Mike’s place was perfect for our group. Clean, comfortable and only 15 minutes to Clemson.

We had a wonderful stay at Kelly's place! The home was easy to find, exactly as described, and ready to host us for a nice and relaxing fathers day weekend. We appreciated all of the little touches throughout the home that made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The home is spacious and the small decorating touches throughout made it feel like loved and inviting space. There were snacks on site to welcome us on our arrival, plenty of towels and toiletries available, the beds were OH SO COMFORTABLE, and we were grateful to say we didn't see not one bear during our stay. The instruction/welcome manual left by Kelly was super detailed - leaving not one question unanswered - and she was kind enough to check in with us to make sure we arrived and were settled in. We had a fun time with the kids playing in the river across the street, sitting on lovely screened in porch, and playing the various games available throughout the house. Thank you so very much!

We had a lovely stay in Lauren's home. You feel like you're living in the Brady Bunch house! Classic 1960s everything. The beds and seating were all very comfortable, and we enjoyed the abundant decks, the hammock, the kayak, the TV... the kitchen had everything you could want, and we appreciated the extra bag of ice and cans of sparkling water they left for us. We highly recommend it. If you're more noise-sensitive, we recommend the downstairs bedroom, which is insulated from the noisier/brighter open layout of the upstairs.

Can’t say enough great things about the location and the host. Property exceeded all our expectations for a great Easter weekend with our family. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a lake get away close to Clemson and Seneca

This was a beautiful home with everything you need! Pretty pond in the back. There were two ducks and they were so cute to watch. Was a comfortable spacious house and lovely place to stay, would recommend!!

We love the amount of space we had to spread out. As a large family, we love to be together but we also love our space. Erin was very easy to reach and very responsive. We really loved the coffee bar.

It was a lovely stay. Great spot for fishing. Would recommend to anyone considering this!

Visited for about 7 weeks...very relaxing and the views during the day and the nights over the lake are beautiful. The condo has been remodeled and everything is first class...definitely a 5 star vacation spot. We were visiting in the off season...have stay in the Tall Ship condos on many other occasions...this unit was the best! Highly recommend.

Our family enjoyed our time at Leslie’s place. Perfect location for our family trip for Clemson graduation. We had enough space and the ground floor made it perfect for the older folks. Strongly recommend staying here if visiting Clemson for any reason. If you have a specific bed requirement, you should note both the mattress and pillows were very soft. As someone who prefers a sturdier pillow and firmer mattress, I did end up using a different pillow my daughter brought us from her apartment. Outside of that I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Would 100% stay here again. Leslie is lovely.

My husband and I stayed at the Lake side Keowee Condo the last week of August. The condo looks exactly like to pictures. Kitchen was beautiful and had all that you would need. There are 2 master bedrooms. One is an ensuite with sliding doors to a small balcony that had a table and chairs. You could see the lake from the balcony . We would have breakfast out here in the morning. The living room had beautiful bay windows which also had lake view. There is a large cabinet in the living room that was stocked with games. The living room also has 2 sets of bunk beds that were like Murphy beds and folded up. We were only 2 people but condo could easily accommodate 10 people. You could walk to the pool but the beach you needed to drive to. Keowee Key is a beautiful community. It was very quiet the week we were there but we were fine with that as we were looking for peaceful few days. We did not play golf but course looked beautiful. There is also a restaurant on property

Fran’s place was the perfect place for the family to stay for my son’s graduation. Very close to campus but away from the crowds. Fran’s place was clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels felt high end. I would recommend this place 100% and hope to be back! Fran was very proactive and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth check in and check out.

The condo was absolutely spotless. Beds and linens were amazingly comfortable. Kitchen was designed well which made preparing meals so easy. We all loved how bright the condo was and the view it offered. The grounds were well maintained. We enjoyed the walking trail and the nice large pool. We also took advantage of the pickle ball courts. We went just for a long weekend but my family will definitely consider this condo for a week long vacation.
