We are halfway between Florence and Bologna, in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, a few km from the beautiful Regional Park of the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes and on the well-known route "The Wool and Silk Road".

The Cottage is part of a property owned by the Bernocchi family, which was already on maps of the area in the 1500s and is located right on an ancient Roman road that crossed the Calvana Mountains. It is less than 2 km from the Via degli Dei, and 25 minutes from the Rioveggio toll booth (the last km is on dirt road).
