Heaps to do on the Island with walking/bike tracks, swimming, koala reserve, penguin parade, the Nobbies, Forest Caves, Churchill Island and the Chocolate Factory to name a few. You'll find amazing sunsets at Ventnor, Surf beach & Cape Woolamai. We also offer early and late check out if there are no back to back bookings.

Nearly 100 walking tracks, trails & short walks mean you’re totally spoilt for choice. Lots of easy coastal walks include beaches, piers, arts trails, historic sites & villages for a lazy coffee. Go inland , shady bush walks, bird-filled wetlands & lots more.

Self Contained Unit Close to the Beach

Positioned in a fantastic location right in the heart of Cowes, only minutes walk to the beach & the main street. Offering two bedrooms, master with a king-sized bed, 2nd bedroom with single bed plus double bed with bunk over. Dual access ensuite/bathroom, large living & kitchen area & a private courtyard at the rear. All linen (except for beach towels) is included. Additional features include; pet friendly, reverse cycle heating/cooling, single car garage plus off-street parking for 1 car.

Cape Colonnades Alleyway

Cape Colonnades Alleyway is a self contained cottage set back from the main house on private property. This accomodation is freshly furnished with modern touches of beach style decor. Walking distance of 200metres from a grocery store to grab your fresh bread and eggs. restaurant/ bar for your afternoon cold beverage and a local surf store to get all your beach needs. In the other direction is a short walk to the surf beach for a late morning swim and rocky coastline for a lovely walk.

Somers Cottage Studio - where vines meet bay

Opened in March 2021 this lovingly styled Studio is a 200m walk to the 100 Steps Beach access. Enjoy the nourishing sounds & and smells of nature surrounding this seaside haven. The local birdlife, koalas, dolphins and more are a highlight. We love the way farms & vineyards roll to the shores of Western Port Bay, perfect for beach mornings and winery afternoons. The Studio, it's outdoor shower & patio area are for guests exclusive use, and we're mindful of our guests privacy.

Somers Peninsula Retreat,

7.5 hectare property with main house and self contained purpose built 1 bedroom cottage with queen size bed, bathroom with spa overlooking private garden with water feature, lounge, dining and kitchen with breakfast hamper, veranda front and back overlooking paddocks and dam, car port. Property has a push button farm gate at entrance. There are bikes to ride and the dam is stocked with fish. Silver Perch and Trout bring your own fishing rod.

Beauford Lodge

My place is good for couples. There is only one bed room plus a sofa bed down stairs. Beauford Lodge is a peaceful semi-rural retreat, just over an hour from Melbourne, on the Mornington Peninsula. Wine, home made chocolate brownies and home made bread & jam for breakfast, (no Gluten free alternatives or other food intolerance's catered for).

The Cottage on Flinders

We have a cosy self contained 1 Bedroom cottage at the back of our property that would suit a couple looking to visit the Mornington peninsula. Close to beaches, wineries, local markets and the ferry to Phillip Island there is plenty to see and do.
