Waterfront holiday rentals in Philadelphia

We have been using AirBNB for years and honestly this was one of the best places we've ever stayed. Built in 2024, elevator comes right up into the room, ample parking. Amazing location with bike share right outside the apartment, riverfront for bike riding and running. Dozens of great book stores, comic stores, restaurants all within walking distance. About 25 minute walk to Chinatown. Heated bathroom floors! Streaming on all TV's. The Superhost returned all my messages within one minute. A plus.

We had a great stay in Philadelphia. The place is very nice and located in a quiet area with plenty to explore nearby. We loved how easy it was to get around, especially with bike stations and great restaurants just a short walk away. It’s also conveniently close to popular attractions, which made enjoying the city super easy. We’d definitely recommend this place!

Great location and in reach of a quick walk.

This apartment is beautiful, well serviced and in a great location. It has everything you will need. The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect. Even down to having your own rubbish shute. Philomena checks in to see if you need anything and responds quickly and in such a welcoming way. Highly recommend this apartment 🙌

What a wonderful stay at Jeff's place! The whole place was stylish, cozy, and I immediately felt right at home. The kitchen was massively stocked with extra appliances and a wealth of spices and sauces to get you started. I basically lived in the bay window overlooking a perfect view of the river, and Jeff was incredibly responsive with great recommendations and helpful tips. Super lovely place, I'll miss my cozy coffee mornings watching the boats go by!

I so enjoyed the quiet beauty of this hidden gem in the woods. From the moment I booked, Jen was a fabulous hostess, giving thought and care to ensure a positive experience. The home is beautiful, and I was happily surprised by the gorgeous holiday decor and cheer. Everything was just as described, and I couldn't have felt more at home. Having grown up nearby, I have no doubt this would be an oasis in the summer months, though even with ice on the lake, it offered peace and beauty. The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the warmth of my host permeated the entire home. I recommend it to anyone seeking nature, beauty, and comfort.

This was our third time staying at Sue's place. It is a great location, plenty of space to move around with adults and kids, well equipped. Very responsive to questions.

Ben's place is fantastic! It is everything you see and then some. It is a beautiful house, in a great location, peaceful, surrounded by nature, and at the same time close to amenities, fun towns, and convenient highways. Ben's description and pictures are very accurate. I would also like to add couple more thoughts: 1. Ben had some many nice details that made the house feel like home--snacks, toys, a full kitchen. So, it felt like we had arrived to our own river house. 2. Ben was very responsive and gladly accommodated our late check-out. Thank you very much for that. 3. The views of the Delaware are so awesome that, in my personal opinion, if you plan to visit the area, it is absolutely worth it to go a bit further out just to experience this house.

I can’t express into words how awesome Nina and Steve are as hosts. They truly are wonderful people, and the stay is just a bonus. They have a lovely home as well. Will always stay if I’m in the area. Right price as well.

If I had to describe Amy‘s place in one word, it would be perfect. The cottage is quaint and very private. We enjoyed waking up and drinking coffee on the deck while watching the geese, chickens, and sheep. We even saw some baby sheep. Absolutely magical! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bed was comfy. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay there again.

We came to Steve's place to relax by the beautiful river and enjoy some hot tub time. Definitely worth it if you like a cool landscape to hang out at! Steve was very accommodating and friendly as a host, and made us feel very welcome. Thanks Steve!

Great Value & Quiet Stay Near Philly We had a comfortable stay in this spacious home located in a quiet, safe neighborhood near the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. The host was very kind, responsive, and gave us full access to the main house—kitchen, laundry, and all common areas. He stayed out of sight in the basement and was respectful of our space. The house itself is older and could use a few minor updates. Not a big deal, but helpful to know. All in all, the space was clean, roomy, and a much better value than a hotel. For the price and location, it was a great choice. Would definitely consider staying again. Especially the host was so gracious.

Jodie’s house is lovely, cozy, and peaceful, and she made us feel like family. I wish we had been able to stay longer; I would definitely book again! We loved having the river so close! We went across the street to skip rocks and watch ducks after our long drive, and a deer came to the park-like backyard at twilight. We all slept extremely well on very comfortable beds and enjoyed coffee in the morning. Jodie was a kind and responsive host!
