Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pender County

This is a great place to stay if needing to be right in Hampstead. Luis let us come early and the place was very clean. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs. It had everything you would need and loved how much outdoor space there was. The main bedroom mattress was super comfortable but the other mattresses in the other bedroom were not as comfortable and the beds are not suited for tall people. We also wished that the main room had actual doors rather than sliding doors so we could move more freely/make more noise as our child napped during the day and went to bed early. The coffee maker was confusing to work too- might be a user error! Overall very clean and cute place located right in Hampstead!!!

I feel fortunate every time I get to enjoy Timothy's Beach Adjacent home when I visit Wilmington. It's always well supplied, very comfortable, peaceful and thoughtfully designed! Cheers to Timothy: another very enjoyable stay and another job well done!

Being on the beach was awesome! We enjoyed sunrises from the hot tub, going right down our stairs to the sand, walks to the pier, evenings on the deck… It was the perfect setting for our little reunion! The house is clean and comfortable with everything you might need. Location is also super convenient to food & coffee & seafood market. The only surprises were that our space was attached to another house (neighbors were very quiet, respectful, and friendly) and that we had to make our own beds upon arrival and remove bedding before check out. Overall, Emily’s house made our time with people we love even more fun & easy! She was a communicative, helpful host and we appreciate her sharing her home!

I booked this country tiny house for me and my sister. It was a great tiny house, beautifully furnished, very comfortable bed, it was very quiet we only heard frogs and wildlife and a rooster. We loved it and would stay again. Ty Joseph and Shellie.

Loved the location. I wasn't sure about everyone in our group liking being so close to the "hubbub", but that ended up being what something we really liked about the place. Lots of things to do that are walkable. Shops, restaurants, bars, coffee houses, a beautiful walkway along the intracoastal waterway, a kids playground... And the view can't be beat! Well stocked kitchen- like truly everything you could possibly need. Lots of seating on the deck. All the things! Mom was over the moon about her 90th birthday celebration.

The home was in a great location, just a short walk to the beach access. It was well-stocked with plenty of beach supplies, which our group of 8 really appreciated. Having an EV charger available was also a huge plus. The house had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. Brian was very responsive and provided helpful information ahead of our trip.

We enjoyed our time at Gennaro's. It is an older home, but very comfortable and ina very quiet area. We had a few things happen, but Gennaro got right back with me immediately. Plenty of room for the family.

This house is a perfect getaway from city life. Close to the beach and close to the sound. Very quiet neighborhood as well. The house has what you need for basics. Really enjoyed our stay!

My husband & I had such a lovely stay here for the weekend! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and the perfect fit for us. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly it was—our dog felt right at home! The location was great, with easy access to the beach and local restaurants, just a short drive away (about 15–20 minutes). Megan, the host, was wonderful—she checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly, which we really appreciated. Everything was exactly as described, and the check-in process was simple and stress-free. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located escape!

Kelly is a fantastic host answering all questions we had and had the best informative guide I’ve ever seen through Airbnb renting, the location was also great! The beach is right at the Airbnb! The pool was nice, it did have a lot of trash in the bottom and unfortunately we did have a very loud neighbor rooming right above us. The room itself was very clean, and just like the pictures, very easy to walk to restaurants and activities! I highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I loved staying at Lauren’s place! When we arrived check-in was simple with a code and check-out instructions were clear as well. Everything was very clean and looked just like the photos. The area was great because we were less than 8 minutes from pretty much everything you can think of. Thank you Lauren!

We enjoyed a wonderful extended stay. Our family loved the space, the layout, and all the room to put things - lots of closets and dressers. The laundry machines were also very helpful. The kitchen has everything you need plus some. The balcony is a peaceful place to sit and relax. The location is ideal for Kiwanis Park, shops, and getting to the beach. The host was also very responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this place!

Outstanding location. Easy access to Topsail and Wilmington. Beautiful layout and will return. Everything you needed or possibly wanted was there. Extremely friendly.

Great location, plenty of space for my family and I. Convenient ground level spot, easy for less mobile or handicapped folks. One thing I like to see in an AirBNB is more than one hand towel for kitchen use. The rest of the unit was very accommodating!

My daughter and I have the ABSOLUTE best time!! The Airbnb was soooo beautiful, clean and the natural light from the windows was so tranquil! The grounds where the Airbnb was stunning with the outdoor lighting and loved being able to look at the horses!! We have a beautiful time and cannot thank Jean enough for her wonderful suggestions and for being so warm!

We had an incredible time in Topsail over Memorial Day Weekend. Joe’s condo was the perfect size for my wife and I, my mother in law, and our pup. Location was incredible and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The condo had everything we need and was clean and well furnished. Worth noting there are a few flights of stairs to get to the living area, but that didn’t deter us! Hope to be back again soon.

Alan was one of the best hosts we’ve had. There were a couple issues with the original condo booked and Alan did everything he could to correct things. We love the Surf Condos and plan to go back.

Had a great stay here. The location was perfect and close to a bunch of places to eat and carry out like Shaka Taco and Daily Grind. You could walk there in 20 minutes if you wanted. The courtyard pool area was beautiful and quiet and the access to the beach was quick and easy. The condo itself was cute and homey and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Louis was kind and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay for our family, bunk beds were a big plus, and beach chairs, boogie board, and pool noodles left were an awesome bonus.

Cannot say better things about this place and its host. So understanding, transparent, and hospitable. Will be returning!

The place was perfect for all our needs. We were close to the beach. The unit was well decorated comfortable and clean. Callie was very responsive to any of our requests. We couldn’t have asked for more.

The condo was the perfect vacation spot for a couple and our 3 kids. Love the upstairs space & decor. Pool and beach were walking distance. The beach was clean. The area was not overly crowded. Private entrance, safe. Would recommend for a family! Chris was also very responsive & helpful. Thanks for a great family vacation!

Ashley is an excellent hostess! Her details are spot on and she is always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The condo was as she described and offered a great location with easy access to many shops, restaurants, and the beach while being more private and in a more quiet area. Highly recommend any property Ashley lists and highly recommend the condo!

This was a great beach condo, walkway to lots of the food and attractions in Surf City. The public beach access was right down the road and they had beach chairs and an umbrella that we could use!
