Incredible space for a family vacation. Amazing care with all the necesario for a 1 year old baby (bed, food chair, bathtub, several buoys for the pool). There were some incredible days

Our flight departed almost 2 hours late, but Fernando was so kind as to welcome us in person anyway, well beyond check-in time. The house is carefully furnished, spacious and cozy, has a beautiful outdoor space and is very close to the beach! The area is quiet and peaceful. If we were to return to Porto, we would like to stay here again.

We spent a lovely nine days at Antonio’s place.

She helped us throughout our stay and was always available for advice and support. The accommodation itself is wonderfully spacious, secure and surrounded by beautiful gardens. We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Vilar de Rei where we spent two weeks as a family. If you are looking for a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature and a place to completely switch off from the world, this is it. Marta and her father Daniel were the perfect hosts - responsive, helpful and kind. Our 1-year-old son had the time of his life riding Daniel's tractor, meeting the chickens, and picking fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden. The pool is shared with the other house but there is plenty of space for everyone and we had very nice neighbours during our stay. There are lots of places to sit and relax or read in the garden - day beds, swings, benches, or the veranda with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields. The garden is also full of herbs and lemon trees. The house inside is very well equipped, and the bed linen and towels are immaculate. We had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little piece of countryside heaven. Thank you Marta and Daniel!

Great house, very spacious and well equipped. The air conditioning is a real plus even though the house remains cool in very hot weather. The view from the house or from the pool is extraordinary. The host and its staff have been nice and helpful when needed. We all had a wonderful stay !

My family and I had a lovely time at Quinta do Vale da Ermida. Very quiet and peaceful location with a stunning view, especially from the pool. Very spacious and equipped with all the amenities we required for our stay. Last but not least, Catarina was always very responsive, helpful, and proactive in her communication with us. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay in Vila Real. We used it as a hub for day trips in the area. The house was beautiful and well cared for and met our expectations.

Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back!!! Adrianne was great dropping by each morning to have a little tidy in the kitchen and make breakfast. The view of the Douro valley from poolside and the rooms was incredible. Can’t say enough good things about our stay!

Large house, airy, clear, comfortable, well supplied and assorted with kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies and household appliances, all according to the listing and the photos. Great pool with floating accessories. Local withdrawn and quiet, but with easy access to various cities and beaches. Carla and her family's service and friendliness note 10. Super recommend it!

This place is beautiful, with amazing breakfast of eggs, bacon, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, and lots of other treats. It was a real highlight at a time flexible to you. The gardens and surrounds are stunning as well as the pool & terrace. We stayed as a group of 10 mid 40s ladies and had a fab time.. just not long enough. The breakfast staff were lovely. The rooms with all their ensuite bathrooms were brilliant and the sound insulation was impressive. The host was also very informative and responsive. Don't hesitate just book it!

Gabriel was a very responsive host and responded very quickly to my messages and was attentive to our needs, the house is very modern and the beds very comfortable, it doesn't even look like that place is intended to be rented , it was very clean and we felt great, I definitely recommend and we will come back again.

Definitely a vacation to repeat, I recommend it to those looking for peace, tranquility and nature! The house is very well equipped, decorated and has an amazing view! During our stay we were also able to enjoy the delicious fruit that is at Quinta de Fundevila (where the house is located). Regarding the location, it could not be better, in a few minutes' walk you are in the center of Arco de Baúlhe or the old train station, where there is no shortage of things to see and explore. It should be noted that the restaurants in the area are all very good, as well as the bakery and are just minutes from the house. Regina and Alberto are very attentive and warm hosts, they spoiled us so much! Thank you so much for everything, we miss it already <3

We absolutely loved staying here. Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Quinta Freiera is a stunning farm with loads of grape vines, lemon trees, orange trees, passion fruit, etc. It was so special to stay in a house that has been in his family for over 200 years. I highly recommend this quinta!

As a family with a lot of teens, I loved how many spaces this house had for hanging out. Also, having so many rooms with two single beds instead of shared beds is so nice when you have a lot of teens along. The outdoor spaces are so beautiful and peaceful and the yard is full of plants and flowers. We enjoyed the ease to reach Guimarães. We would happily return to this lovely home.

Sweet welcoming by Ms. Adelaide, we had a great stay, also received a basket with fruits and eggs from the garden. Beautiful surrounding for idyllic walks nearby and generally very calm environment with a lot of nature around. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We love and hope to repeat the stay at Toorgo House in the future! Both Mr. Manuel and his son Pedro were extremely helpful and attentive throughout the process and stay. Always very available to help us both at check-in and check-out, they even sent a list of recommendations for the area! The house is even better live! Super clean and decorated with care and quality. We feel right at home! Mr. Manuel's family was also kind enough to welcome us with a delicious birthday cake, a gesture much appreciated by all (and especially by the birthday girl!). The entire property is very well maintained, including the garden! The area is friendly and easily accessible with amenities nearby! I dare say it was one of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in as a family! We highly recommend it!

From start to finish the experience was amazing, photos were exactly how the Airbnb was and location was perfect, nice and quiet and completely private! I would highly recommend and hopefully will be back in the future!!
