Accommodation for 3, up to 5 beds for those sleeping in their own sleeping bags. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. Authentic Countryhouse at the Reindeer Farm

Welcome to the wild isolation of Eastern Lapland! This country house, built in the 70s, has served as the main building of a reindeer farm, a loving home, grandma’s place, and a shelter for a bunch of cats, dogs, and motherless reindeer babies. Decades have given this house a unique character. It is located between a fish-filled pond and the River Luiro. A small village shop is approximately 2 km away. Massive reindeer herd sightings and hangouts are guaranteed in the wintertime!

An atmospheric house on the shore of the Kemijoki River

The naturally beautiful Kemijoki beach is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.
