It´s located right next to the dam Forggensee.

A break in the mountains

Our apartment (in a 3-family house) in the basement, is located between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the middle of the “Pfaffenwinkel.“ The optimal starting point for numerous excursions to sights or also sporting activities such as hiking or cycling. Larger shopping facilities can be found in Weilheim, Peißenberg or Murnau. In addition, a natural swimming pond with a small Kneipp facility is about 1 km away and allows spontaneous refreshment at any time of the day

Peißenberg is located about 60 km south of Munich and 45 km north of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, making it an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling as well as for excursions to the surrounding area, such as swimming lakes, royal castles, Wieskirche, Partnachklamm, Oktoberfest.
