Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Paupack Township

Loved staying here for a last minute getaway! We had a great time and got done much needed relaxation in. We both agreed that we would stay here again. Great communication and had everything we needed! No complaints and had an AMAZING time!

We stayed at Brain's home on Memorial Day Weekend - great stay overall! Beautiful property in a quiet and serene lake community. The house and outdoor areas could have used a little sprucing before our arrival, but we were likely the first guests of the season and only booked one day in advance. The house can use a few homey touches (sharper knives, more practical shower curtains), but you cannot beat the location or proximity to the lake. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of nature made it so easy to disconnect. Brian is correct that the pictures do not do this place justice and the price is worth the location if you're looking for a getaway.

Many thanks to Chris for sharing his home with us. What a pleasant surprise to have wine and S'mores fixings all ready for us. Our family (4 couples and 4 kids) had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The location is lovely. We were even able to enjoy the firepit after weeks of rain. Due to unseasonable weather we went to Steamtown one day and hiked the lake and forest trails the next day. Too cool and rainy for other activities. We will definitely share your listing with friends and family. Thank you once again.

Suzanne’s place is a beautiful house in a serene setting. We loved everything about the house - the well appointed furnishings, comfy beds, spacious kitchen stocked with everything we needed throughout our stay. The bathrooms were perfectly clean. The fully finished basement with a pool table and darts was a great bonus. The outdoor area was truly the crown jewel. We spent our days by the lake fishing and enjoying the surrounding nature. We hope to be able to come again.

Such a perfect getaway spot. The house was super clean and felt like home. We took advantage of the fire pit and the grill, the hot tub was a great addition! Definitely will be coming back!

Lauren and Ryan's House was great! A perfect home for our family of four. The train themed bunk beds, darts and shuffleboard, fireplaces, and record player, were all hits. Lauren quickly responded to a few of our questions and made it clear that our comfort was her top priority. If you are looking for a clean, comfy, cozy and safe place by a lake, I highly recommend the Green Light Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again!

This was a short stay but we absolutely adored it. Having small things like extra amenities, leaving the farm fresh eggs for us, the succulent gift--it made me feel like I should have extended my stay if I had the time. I absolutely would love to re-book. We live in PA and this was such a short and scenic drive, and kept our dog safe and occupied. Highly recommended for families or couples!

Our stay at Abby's place was just perfect. After a rough start (email in junk folder !), Abby helped us super quickly even on a late friday evening and was super supportive all WE long. She kindly extended our stay by a couple of hours for the kids to enjoy the view of the lake (stunning btw !) a little longer. A must do in the area !

Great host, very responsive. I asked for nearby bakeries and he sent me some places to check out right away! The area is very quiet and you can spot some deers around the neighborhood. The home itself was very cozy and very affordable for a weekend getaway. Only thing I didn’t like was there wasn’t a curtain for the bathroom window. The shower was good, bathroom was clean. The kitchen was clean. The bedroom and living room area were so comfortable. My husband and I had a great time finding things to do not far from our cabin. We had a great couple of nights, made us feel as if we were in a movie with how peaceful the area around us was , definitely something different than the city we come from. Definitely book your stay!!

Enjoyed our stay and the place was so cute! This was a trip to a fan of The Office. Cannot believe this was the only option like this, but it was fantastic

This was my second stay at Rob’s place, and once again it was a great experience. The house, tucked away in the Green Ridge area of Scranton, is quiet, charming, and full of character. It has that cozy, old-home feel that’s both welcoming and comfortable. Rob is a very attentive host—quick to respond and clearly thoughtful about making sure everything goes smoothly. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

This place was cozy, clean, and felt just like home. It’s in a great location—within walking distance of plenty of delicious local restaurants and fun activities. We loved how easy it was to explore the area without needing to drive. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay that’s close to food, attractions, and also a short drive to hiking and other things to do in the Poconos, this is a perfect choice!

Jules and Paul have a great place it is very cozy as they describe. Great communication with the host able to be flexible with us. Great gateway spot!

One of the best AirBnbs I’ve stayed at. Peaceful, cozy. Felt like a little “nest” up on the top floor of the building. Everything you need to have a home away from home. Esther was incredibly responsive and gracious. 10/10 recommend!

Chala's place was quiet and comfortable. Had all the amenities you could want. The deck outside was great for relaxing. Recommend to anyone looking to stay in the the Scranton area while being in a safe neighborhood.

It is the second time we stayed at Michelle’s place and it is one of the most favorite locations for us. Caught bunch of perch and bluegill at the lake and enjoyed our tea watching the sunset. Michelle is a great host.

My family and I rented Jonathan's place as a long-term rental during ski season. We wanted to be close to Big Boulder given our involvement in the race program and the place could not have been more conveniently located (it was also great being able to walk to Boulder View Tavern for apres ski!). The unit was just like it was described, and Jonathan was always incredibly responsive if we ever needed anything. This place became our "home away from home" for ski season and we were truly sad to pack up on our last day. Highly recommend both this unit and Jonathan (I believe he has other properties) to anyone considering a stay in the Poconos. Fantastic experience and absolutely wonderful host!!

Jackie's condo is spacious and welcoming. Beautiful lakefront property, minutes from Big Boulder. Close to all the local restaurants. Layout is larger than it appears on the listing. Felt right at home!

We had a pleasant stay at Paul's Airbnb. My wife and I stayed here on a work trip. It had all the amenities to be a home away from home.

Communication was excellent, place was clean, well stocked with everything we needed for a short stay. The lake was pretty, the weather was a tad chilly but view of lake was really nice!

We had the best time, and this was the absolute perfect spot! Clean, comfortable, perfect location with beautiful views and easy access to the pools and hot tub! Amy was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10 recommend and would visit again!

We truly enjoyed Sharon's place! Its very clean, with great surroundings and so many little thoughtful details. The balcony faces the pool which is very convenient. Rule pools are quite strict ( have to drop off pick up entry bracelets every time, no kids in warm pool/spa). Great restaurants nearby!

My family and I enjoyed our stay, very clean and neat space and the host was kind and responsive.
