Beachfront holiday rentals in Parua Bay

We had a wonderful weekend away at Nikki’s classic kiwi bach! The location is so beautiful, and it was great to be right on the waterfront. The Bach is lovely and had everything we needed for a great stay. I only wish that we could have stayed longer! Nikki is a friendly, helpful and responsive host. Hopefully we will get to come back again one day!

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

Great peaceful central location. Was a great walk out back of house and handy to supermarket and cafe. Lovely view and plenty of space for little one to run around on grass area.

The bach was perfect, location incredible and Claire was lovely to deal with, we will be back!

Jeremy & Andrea were helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for morning and evening walk One of the highlights was definitely the wood-fired pizza oven. It was such a fun we really enjoyed making pizzas and spending the evening outdoors

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped. Great for family group of 3 generations. Great views from all rooms and always something happening on estuary. Pool table, spa , pizza oven and kayaks provided great variety of options. Highly recommend

Fantastic old school batch, absolutely loved it!

what a place!! the house is far back road and incredibly serene. we came with two young kids and 4 adults and there was heaps to keep us occupied. trip across the estuary with kayaks to these amazing beach breaks a particular highlight. The whole house has something for everyone and honestly think we may be back. Rebecca was also an amazing host and had loads of local knowledge to share.

We were absolutely blessed to stay here for my 21st celebration. It was everything we could have wanted and more. Sally and Kevin were amazing and helpful with everything right from the moment we got there. A truly beautiful spot. Highly recommend:)

I’ve been to more than 30 airbnbs throughout my life - both my wife and I agree this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had at an Airbnb. Modern, new property, directly in front of the water with a large front yard with bench’s, swing, and hammocks. Quiet, peaceful and safe suburb. Lloyd is also an excellent host and extremely friendly - we were welcomed to the property with a bottle of red wine, and also provided complimentary milk, tea and coffee. We were also offered paddle boarding equipment and were allowed to check out late from the property. Four square is only a short 5 min drive and open late. The waterfront setting and view were definitely the highlight. Worth a lot more than the advertised price. Cant recommend it highly enough

Lovely family home with all that the description and photos promise and much more! A once in a lifetime location. We stayed here for the last days of our NZ trip and really appreciated relaxing and exploring the area and fabulous beaches north and south. A big thank you Carol!

Well I must say in our opinion, this is the best spot in Mangawhai Heads, beautiful views from the unit of the beach in front. The unit is awesome, with everything you need. We stayed as a couple, but the unit has room for a family. Easy access to beach and short walk to surf beach and walking trails. Paul was excellent to deal with, great communication and direction Thanks again

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated—so stylish and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient to explore the area. I slept so well thanks to how serene the neighborhood was. The host Karen and Craig were responsive, welcoming, and made sure I had a fantastic experience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, chic retreat. We had a truly magical time staying at Karl’s hidden gem on the beach front, we were blessed with stunning sunrises and sunsets from one mountain to another over the sea, we felt right at home here, the beachfront was truly spectacular, private and the home was so cozy and so special to be in, we are very grateful for the experience, we had the best time with lots to do and explore in the area, we were constantly blown away by how beautiful and special it was

Accommodation was great for a weekend away, the house was spacious and clean. Beautiful view from the deck with birdlife all around.

We very much enjoyed our time at Karen and Grants place. We were 2 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of space, and even quite some toys and books available. The area around the bay is wonderful and offers a lot of nice walks and beaches. It is definitly a space worth on our list of go-there-again places!

Steve was a fantastic host—very responsive, helpful, and flexible with check-in and move-out times. The location was stunning! We had a private beach to ourselves all week, gorgeous views, and easy access to the longest footbridge in the Southern Hemisphere. The property also included two kayaks, which we used to explore the nearby rocks with incredible views and crystal-clear water. Our only hiccup was the lack of linens, but this was clearly stated in the Airbnb listing—we just missed it. I recommend reading the listing carefully, as towels and sheets are only provided for an additional charge. Also, nearly the entire house is carpeted, so be mindful with drinks. Overall, a great stay!

This was the perfect place for three families (11 adults!) to come together for Easter. A beautiful location, across the road from the beach, with stunning views, a house with everything you need to cook up a storm, enjoy the deck and views and nap in the afternoon in peace and comfort. Linda was a generous host (late check out on Easter Monday was much appreciated) and was understanding when we had a mishap with a door slammed by the wind. Would recommend

Review We rented Karen’s house for a multigenerational family holiday. It was just what we were after. Clean and well appointed with great communal spaces both inside and out, as well as plenty of space for people to get some down time. The location is incredible and the photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the surrounding bush or the beach on your doorstep - with other stunning beaches just a short walk away. Our family made great use of the spa and the kayaks, had some amazing surf sessions, and spent a lot of time exploring. It is such a perfect place to get away from it all. Karen was a fantastic host. Excellent communication and she went above and beyond to help us out and make our stay more comfortable. For example, when the weather made drying the many towels we were using every day impossible, Karen did load after load of laundry for us. We’re all keen to go back - hopefully when the weather’s better - and would highly recommend to others.

Absolutely beautiful ocean views! Had the most relaxing time away with friend and we came back refreshed! Waking up to the stunning sun rises and sound of the ocean did wonders. Plenty of swimming spots close to the house, and the house was clean, spacious and well stocked with all the kitchen essentials plus more! Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a spacious, modern house get away that’s private and close to beaches.

Amazing little kiwi back in a private Rocky bay. Awesome for quality family time or a group of friends. Will definitely be staying here again!

It was a beautiful stay. Perfect for our whole family. We loved the Kayaks and local town, even the neighbors were all friendly. There were even toys and play pales and things for our small children, and the bunk rooms in the loft were a kids heaven. The home was great and the view was beautiful. So calm we would swim across to the island in the bay. The host was so friendly to communicate with. My dad even left his watch in our rush to get to the airport and they helped coordinate getting it back to us.

Such a clean place with the great access to the most amazing private beach! Would highly recommend this place as somewhere to get away from the noise and just relax - with a homely feel! Made great use of the Netflix too, thanks so much for a relaxing stay.

Great place to stay for our extended family weekend away. Lots of space to spread out with so many of us. The backyard was perfect for the kids to play while we enjoyed the lovely view.
