What a great place on the River. Just parked my car and got to walk on amazing trails, vibrant downtown area. Super comfy bed and great a/c! Those are my 2 favorite things. Lots of historic charm. Would love to come back.

Cozy spot in quiet, small town Albany above a lively corner cafe. We stayed here for a month during the holidays to visit nearby family and enjoyed our stay. Gregg has added a ton of thoughtful touches (decor, comfy blankets/pillows, plenty of seating) that make for a nice area to hangout, large beds in both bedrooms and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The apartment is on the second floor above a cafe at an intersection so there is some neighborly noise but it’s great for a coffee lovers waking up to the smell of freshly roasted and steps from the cafe. Gregg is extremely responsive and friendly for any/all requests and messages. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area and would recommend if you’re looking for a nice two bedroom stay near Athens

A really great short-term rental option in Athens. We stayed for two weeks while our Athens apartment was undergoing construction. The great location, fully-equipped kitchen, well-stocked bathroom, and access to washer/dryer made it much easier for my partner and I to keep up with our work commitments in Athens. We were so grateful that we could bring our pet with us to the short term rental. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. They even picked up our trash over a holiday weekend, without us even asking! I would recommend this AirBnb and host.

Loved this adorable little nest with its amenities: beverages, snacks, coffee and tea. Half a block away, there is an excellent Italian place, Spagna! I could’ve walked downtown but the weather was iffy so a quick drive; loved this adorable and thriving river city! I’ll be back…

Wonderful location in central Gallipolis!!! All of Beth’s properties are so thoughtfully curated, decorated and clean!! We loved our stay and will be back!

Great little apartment close to campus! Everything was clean and kitchen looked pretty well stocked for weekend needs. Bathroom was nice, even had soaps, shampoo, conditioner and a little box of toiletries in case you forgot anything from home. Will definitely book again!

Janet’s place was really lovelier than the pictures. Everything was clean and comfortable. She had so many nice touches: the nautical theme, coffee and tea, dvd’s, games, books! I wish we could have stayed longer. I really want to come back!!!

Cindy has an amazing place to stay that was easily accessible for my family. Although we had a-lot of running around for my son’s graduation, it was nice to have a place to go back to rest up. Sorry we didn’t have time to meet face to face, but Cindy answered any emails promptly. We definitely recommend Cindy’s place to our friends that have children at Ohio U and want a close place to stay in the future. If we ever plan a trip back, we w look yo book again. I’m a return guest and have absolutely loved every stay at Water’s Edge. Deni’s place is clean, cozy, and welcoming. Close to hiking at local State Parks and nature preserves, a short drive to local shops and restaurants in Athens, and a lovely, peaceful oasis to enjoy if you want to stay in. Deni is a thoughtful and friendly host who I feel privileged to have met and chatted with on several occasions. I will keep coming back as often as I can. Highly recommend!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was wonderful. The place is clean, walkable to campus and the surrounding businesses, and peaceful. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with everything you could need. Also, thank you for filling the Brita before our arrival! Lovely stay.

Hosts Brenda and Deborah were extremely warm, welcoming, and flexible! We were on a short trip for a graduation at Ohio University, about 12 minutes away. Due to delayed flights and 1.5 hour drive from Columbus Airport, we didn't arrive until 10:30pm, and Deb was waiting on the porch to greet us and get us settled. Very much appreciated! Communication was great, including directions (by phone) re: the country roads in the dark. The space is large, as described and seen in photos, sort of a "basement apartment" in a gorgeous area, very peaceful. The place and hosts are down-to-earth, as we had hoped, making our stay lovely and enjoyable. 😊 Thank you!
