we enjoyed staying the night, it suited our needs well, it was so nice an clean, an nice an homey,, the bed was very comfy, an it was a perfect fit for a one night stay be4 needing to leave again the next morn,, thank u for a great, an comfy place to stay !!

We rented because of the reviews and it was on point! Everything was pristine. Parking was ample and easy. A short drive to restaurants. Everything was so cozy! You can tell care is taken inside and outside. We would definitely stay again!

house was very nice. but that back porch over hanging the river was awesome. great view of the Ohio river. very relaxing after a long day of work

I loved this cute and cozy space. Quirky, hip, cool spot. So comfy. Snacks and tons of cool books. This was just a one night pit stop on our way north, so I knew nothing about Parkersburg. I didn’t feel like it is a walkable area, but the few streets in this “historic area” seemed all right. It was perfect for one night. Couldn’t have asked for anything else. Many spots were closed on a Sunday evening for food, but the Happy Garden Chinese takeout worked out perfectly.

She was great! Definitely recommend!!!

Felt like staying in luxury suite with beautiful decor. Hostess had pastries, snacks, coffee and bottles of water which were a special touch to our accommodations. Highly recommend this property and visiting Blennerhassett island

Cindy has an amazing place to stay that was easily accessible for my family. Although we had a-lot of running around for my son’s graduation, it was nice to have a place to go back to rest up. Sorry we didn’t have time to meet face to face, but Cindy answered any emails promptly. We definitely recommend Cindy’s place to our friends that have children at Ohio U and want a close place to stay in the future. If we ever plan a trip back, we w look yo book again. Thanks again Cindy!

I’m a return guest and have absolutely loved every stay at Water’s Edge. Deni’s place is clean, cozy, and welcoming. Close to hiking at local State Parks and nature preserves, a short drive to local shops and restaurants in Athens, and a lovely, peaceful oasis to enjoy if you want to stay in. Deni is a thoughtful and friendly host who I feel privileged to have met and chatted with on several occasions. I will keep coming back as often as I can. Highly recommend!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was wonderful. The place is clean, walkable to campus and the surrounding businesses, and peaceful. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with everything you could need. Also, thank you for filling the Brita before our arrival! Lovely stay.

Hosts Brenda and Deborah were extremely warm, welcoming, and flexible! We were on a short trip for a graduation at Ohio University, about 12 minutes away. Due to delayed flights and 1.5 hour drive from Columbus Airport, we didn't arrive until 10:30pm, and Deb was waiting on the porch to greet us and get us settled. Very much appreciated! Communication was great, including directions (by phone) re: the country roads in the dark. The space is large, as described and seen in photos, sort of a "basement apartment" in a gorgeous area, very peaceful. The place and hosts are down-to-earth, as we had hoped, making our stay lovely and enjoyable. 😊 Thank you!
