The house has a great location, right in the centre of Matino. In between 15 minutes by car we did reach some great beaches and the main town of Gallipoli. The interior of the house is tastefully decorated, make's someone feel at home away from home. The view from the roof terrace is just something incredible. With my family we had great time, and have no hesitation to recommend the place.

We had a great time at Desiree's, in a typical Salento home, furnished and decorated with taste and sobriety. Each room is beautiful and spacious. The terrace is beautiful, well arranged, and immediately becomes essential, to both sunbathe in a sunbed in the late afternoon and have breakfast in the cool, as well as lunch if you are not at the beach or in Lecce, Gallipoli, Specchia, ... Desiree is very responsive and friendly, as well as Valeria, who welcomed us on site. Matino is ideally located to shine in the area. The number of villages and small towns with different characters allows you to discover, especially by going to the "sagre" - very lively local festivals, including pizzica and tarantella. Staying at Desiree means taking a trip through time, space and gastronomy and enjoying and the translucent sea. It's also a human adventure, thanks to the welcome of the Pugliesi.

Ivan and Gianni made us feel at home, available but discreet. The accommodation is very clean and attention to detail, spacious and fresh so much so that it was not necessary to use the air conditioner, available in all rooms. The outdoor space is spacious, with a laundry area and shower, very comfortable. the garden is very well cared for and beautiful, the pergola at our exclusive disposal, it is very spacious and also cared for in the smallest details. The location is strategic to quickly reach the most beautiful beaches of Salento, from east to west, for those, like us, who like to get around and visit new places every day. Very quiet area, the village, reachable in a few minutes by car, offers all the services and is beautiful and characteristic. Last note, no less important, Ivan and Gianni are wonderful people, with whom a friendship has been created, even with our child, which is difficult to establish in a few days of vacation. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

My husband and I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Luca's apartment. His apartment is wonderfully located, in the middle of the historic center of Matino and yet soooo beautifully quiet. The apartment is on the first floor, with a spacious private terrace... the apartment has been very carefully restored and furnished with excellent materials. Everything looks beautiful and works wonderfully. In addition, it is bright, but completely darkenable for the night, we slept wonderfully, because the mattress and bed linen are also great. I can recommend Luca's apartment 100%, I would also come back anytime. And last but not least. Luca is a squisite person, friendly, helpful and reliable. He also has a great knowledge of this wonderful region and is happy to share it.

It was a magical two weeks with the kids. The house is out of town, but everywhere is a quick drive, beaches, shops, easy to get to many lovely places in the area. The home is magical, you can feel at home. Every detail makes the heart feel with what love everything was created here... a large terrace where you can eat breakfast while listening to the birds singing... Around the garden, a beautiful grass where the kids ran barefoot every morning... There are comfortable sun loungers, a grill... This house has everything a person will want on vacation... The owner, Stefania is a wonderful, joyful and helpful person... A wonderful woman! I'm sure we'll come back to this house for a lot longer! Thank you for the magic of the place 🥰

Lovely house and superb decor. Would prefer a compendium in the house for suggestions of Restaurants etc in the area, and local sights. Matino was underwhelming compared to other wonderful areas in Puglia, we cut our stay shorter for this reason. Highly recommend Claudia’s house if you’re after a quiet, relaxing stay, not for dinning out.

Delightful apartment, with a dedicated outdoor space, in a quiet area and a short walk from the parking lots. Elisa is very kind; she provided us with a lot of useful information and was very flexible with check-in and check-out times. If we return to the area (close to the most picturesque and beautiful beaches!) we will definitely return here.
