Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Paquera

Adi was a fantastic host and had a beautiful property. He was very kind and made us feel right at home. He gave us all the privacy we needed. I am not sure if I missed this in the description of the property but we had the use of cleaners at no extra cost whenever we wanted, much like a hotel. We only used the service once but it was a nice touch. There is another suite above but we rarely saw them. The pool would be shared but again, they used the pool at different times. You can hear the roar of the waves from the property which is lovely even though it is maybe 400 meters through the trees and across the road. Mal Pais is a nice area to get out of hectic Santa Teresa and I would do this again. This has nothing to do with our excellent host but, to avoid disappointment, this is not a walk friendly area of Costa Rica. The roads are busy with ATV's and motorbikes and an awful lot of heavy equipment with no sidewalks. However, if you fancy a walk, the huge beaches slake that thirst.

Eloide is such a wonderful host. She was there to greet us and made sure we had everything we needed. The unit was just perfect for us., very comfortable and a peaceful location. We loved the beautiful jungle surroundings and enjoyed a swim in the pool. This was a great find and we will be back again! Thank you for having us, Eloide.

If you find yourself in Puntarenas and have a taste for history and true hospitality, Casa Fait is the place to go. The house itself is beautifully and carefully restored to it’s early 20th century splendour, which is completely surreal given today’s reality of the fisherman town. The hosts are beyond welcoming and shared a lot of stories, recommendations, anecdotes and wisdom. It has been a great experience on our journey through Costa Rica.

Tanias Casita is a very lovely place just a short drive away from Montezuma center. It‘s a lovely place surrounded by nature. We enjoyed the casita, the pool and the nearby surroundings. We didn‘t have a car so we had to either take a taxi uphill (5000 colon) or walk a short but very steep bit. We can definitly recommend Tanias place - she‘s a wonderful host. And if you stay there don‘t miss out on the butterfly garden next door and a cool drink in the butterfly brewery.

This house is an absolute gem 💎 Incredible quiet location. You are surrounded by nature and incredible trees. It felt like we were living with the monkeys. The architecture of the house is very modern. Very well equipped. We made good use of the binoculars to spot the monkeys, toucans iguanas and birds in the morning. The pool and its surroundings are stunning.. personally my favourite thing about the house. And so many pretty flowers everywhere! We were all very sad to leave but will definitely come back next year! Thank you for everything.

Excellent property. Comfortable, spacious, clean. Very quiet area. It's very well equipped. The pool is a good size to enjoy to the fullest. Very attentive hosts always ready to help. There is a restaurant and supermarket inside the place which was very convenient. It's worth it. I recommend it.

The house is very pretty and there is a very good vibe there. You can’t see it through the pictures but the living room is open so you can hear everything that’s going on outside. The location is Amazing (in the center).

My favorite air bnb we’ve stayed in, felt right at home. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Jaco for a relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Nautilus. Located right in the heart of Santa Teresa, everything you could possibly want is a short walk or ATV ride away.

Host was very responsive, very clean property, wonderful pool & staff. Would absolutely recommend! We stayed for five nights and took day trips to Montezuma for waterfalls.

We were so impressed with this AirBnb. The host did everything to ensure we had an excellent stay. Despite our late check-in, he was there to help us park inside the secure garage and open up our room for us. He gave us a quick tour and gave us instructions. There was cold water in the fridge and the house was equipped with everything we needed. The location was 2 minutes from the dock where we had booked an excursion. The host allowed us to leave our bags behind and pick them up at the end of the day. The unit appears brand new. It is the nicest building in the area. The bed was comfortable. The A/C was cold. The shower was great. A nice surprise was an in-unit free washer and dryer with soap to use. We were nearing the end of our trip and it was so nice to do a load of laundry. I can’t recommend this place enough! It is a perfect place to stay if you need to be in the area!

No words can quite describe the magical experience of staying in this beautifully crafted treehouse. The view is incredible, but it is the tasteful and rustic personal touches that make the space feel so cozy and inviting. Peter was a welcoming, responsive, and kind host, and all of the love and craftsmanship with which he and his family have created their homestead is evident in every corner of this spectacular place. From waking up and watching the sunrise over the ocean from our crows nest bed, to taking a warm outdoor shower at twilight in the rain, to stargazing at night while lightning storms danced on the horizon, each moment was better than the next. The casita was equipped with everything one could need, and we were very comfortable with the fan at night. Thank you again Peter and Santiago for everything.

This place is perfect location, steps from the beach and walking distance to most of the shops, food and light life! The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. They did my laundry for $5 and left it folded, outside of my room the same day. The bathroom was a little small but I didn´t mind. The water was hot. Would no doubt stay here again in Jacó.

This condo is as pictured. Breath-taking views of the ocean. The two bedrooms are spacious, and it was a huge benefit that both bedrooms had their own private bathroom. The washer and dryer were an added bonus- and allowed us to pack light and do laundry while on the trip!! The host was excellent, providing helpful tips for the area to ensure we not only had a great time, but that we were safe. They recommended an excellent tour-guide of sorts who provided safe and dependable transportation from/to San Jose airport. They also took us on a tour to Manuel Antonio National Park. Fees were very reasonable. The pool in this facility was excellent, clean and well appointed deck with nice lounge chairs. There was a nice clean bathroom near the pool and a security guard always on duty. From a safety perspective, we really appreciated the gated facility and that there were staff/guards there 24/7. The neighborhood itself, we felt very safe walking around, never had an issue.

Great stay and very well kept communal property! It was nice to have the pool and yoga/gym area and access to filtered drinking water! Thank you for a great place in Santa Teresa for the night!

We loved our stay this weekend. The apartment was impeccable, very nice, well equipped. The location is excellent, with easy access, the beach just a few steps away and very nice pools to enjoy and relax. In addition, Carla's service was excellent: very kind and attentive at all times. Definitely a place we would go back to. 100% recommended!

We loved our stay at Purapura, everything was prepared with a lot of attention to detail. The houses are beautiful and there is a nice pool. The communication was always very responsive and Spyros was very nice and helpful. Would definitely visit again!☺️

The host, Eric, had everything laid out super early on checking in information. The place was easy to find, safe entry way, elevator, and keyless entry. Very responsive does matter the hour of the day. A storm issues knocked out water messaged him it was resolved in minutes. Suggested restaurants nearby for the time of day. Shared information about the area. Parking is available it is gated and secured if car rental is your option. The location is 1 and half or less from SJO (Uber. $122 est) easy to come in but have tip leaving out cause they will decline trip if you don’t have at least $20 cash due to tolls cost and distance. Location was perfect away from strip of restaurants, casinos, local shops, and excursions. I would wait to book excursions off the Avenida Pastor Díaz save deposits for ATV rental or excursions vs Viator website. Food suggestions: Local Grill, Sunrise Brunch, El Manglar all amazing foods
