Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Palermo

From the moment we checked into Gabriele's place, we knew this was going to be an amazing stay. We were personally welcomed by Ettore, who gave us a run-down of the place and had a couple of cannolis waiting for us in the fridge. The family who owns the place is so friendly and hospitable, attentive to their guests' every need. Of course, the main highlight is the terrace with amazing views (perfect to drink your morning coffee), as well as the private access to the water downstairs. This Airbnb literally has everything you could possibly need: from reefshoes and snorkels to cooking utensils and enough cupboards to put away all your stuff and feel right at home, it's clear they have really thought everything through. Just be mindful that going to the supermarket or restaurants requires a short drive, but this was hardly an issue when the place looks like this. Hands down one of our best Airbnb experiences after about 35+ stays and counting. Thank you again! :)

Marina has set the bar unattainably high for any other AirBnb host! Not only was the house absolutely beautiful, it was clean, organized, perfectly located, and had every amenity you could think of (plus more that you didn't remember!). On top of that, Marina is a gem of a person. I've never been to the same AirBnb twice because we like going to new places, but I really hope to make coming back here an annual tradition! My children will remember Palermo forever. Thank you so much, Marina <3

We had a great time staying at the large spacious villa. A real nice view from the terrace on the pool and sea and garden! Very friendly and helpful host Guiseppe. I can really recommend this beautiful villa!

The apartment was clean, in a historic neighborhood, and the bed and linens comfortable. Fulvio was an amazing host, with lots of suggestions, sitting down to meet us upon arrival and quick to respond. There was some noise coming from local construction and a restaurant's kitchen across the street, but it was nothing we couldn't sleep through.

We had a wonderful stay! The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. We were a group of 7 ladies and felt very comfortable throughout our visit. The surroundings are generally nice, although some parts of the nearby public beach were a bit dirty — nothing to do with the villa owners, of course. What we really loved was the terrace — during the day, when it’s incredibly hot, the terrace stays mostly in the shade, which makes it the perfect spot to relax and hang out. Being out in the sun was just impossible, so the shaded space was a lifesaver! The hosts were incredibly communicative and responsive — they replied to any questions within a minute. The only downside was the number of mosquitoes, so it would have been great to get a heads-up about that. I’d recommend bringing some repellent spray. Overall, a fantastic place for a relaxing stay. ein sehr hübsches authentisches haus, mit geschmackvoll eingerichteten und gut ausgestatteten wohnungen. unsere kinder haben den geschützten innenhof sehr geschätzt, zum plantschen in einer wanne oder fahrrad fahren. Elena ist sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend, auch wenn wir sie leider nicht persönlich kennengelert hatten, fühlten wir uns sehr gut aufgehoben. die lage war für uns ideal. nah zur autobahneinfahrt für ausflüge, ca. 10min zum meer mit sehr schönem sandstrand - und sogar zum joggen zwischen den umliegenden feldern. ohne auto dafür weniger ideal, da in gehdistanz eigentlich nichts ist. wir empfehlen das baglio sehr, ob als familie oder paar. es ist wie ein kleinen zuhause, weit fort von daheim.

Amazing location in old town Palermo ... Vucceria. Location was ideal for walking just about everywhere. Outdoor dining with great food almost right outside the door. The ONLY thing is the noise at night time. Angelo supplied is with earplugs for a reason. 😀 Apparently there's loud music and partying every night in this area of Palermo. Easy solution was to move to the inner bedroom and problem solved. Some of the best food in all of Sicily. A 5 minute walk to I Quattro Canti. Wonderful!

Depuis l'appartement d'Alessandra et Jul, j'ai pu passer un magnifique séjour au cœur de Palerme. L'appartement est parfaitement fonctionnel, confortable, bien décoré et bien rangé. J'ai reçu de nombreuses recommandations de la part de mes hôtes, qui se sont en plus montrés extrêmement sympathiques et gentils avant mon arrivée et tout au long du séjour. Il y avait de nombreuses adresses et recommandations dans le Airbnb. Alessandra s'est montrée très gentille en me donnant toutes les recommandations dont j'avais besoin, et en me permettant de profiter au maximum de mon séjour à Palerme. Merci pour tout, j'ai passé un moment exceptionnel :)

Loved the bright, airy, comfortable and well designed duplex flat with uber slow elevator to top floor! The street is very ‘rough’ pavement-wise and at a cross section with an abandoned building - off putting at first but Bianca’s place is truly a refuge from the grittier albeit fascinating side of Palermo. Everything you’d want to visit is within reach by foot. I am a solo traveler , 70 yrs old who would definitely stay here again.

This place was so fun to stay in! In the heart of Palermo with walking access to so many things. Gabriele was amazing and super responsive with instructions and even let us drop our things off early. His place was very cozy, spacious, and clean.

The place is wonderful and spacious with a beautiful city view. It’s in a quiet area and short walk to the main strip. There is a tucked away square just 2 min walk with amazing restaurants and bars Highly recommend this place! Renata was so lovely and checked in to make sure everything was okay

This is a beautiful Airbnb, especially with young children. We travelled with our kids (aged 1 and 4), and Valeria had everything we needed. The terraces were so beautiful as well and a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine after the kids had gone to bed. And the location was fantastic, very easy to walk around and enjoy the city. Stay here!

Sabrina’s apartment is located in the heart of Politeama, really close to excellent cafés and restaurants and a short walk to the airport shuttle bus. Checking into and out of the apartment was super easy and the apartment is beautiful and spotless.

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse i Melanias lägenhet. Fin lägenhet som har allt man behöver och med otroligt centralt läge, promenad avstånd till allt. Väldigt unikt och intressant med marknaden utanför dörren, man får verkligen ta del av Palermos energi, vi satt dagligen på balkongen och njöt av det hela (väldigt stor kontrast mot Sverige :-). På kvällarna var det lugnt då marknaden stänger senare på eftermiddagen så det var en perfekt balans. Melania är en perfekt värd! Professionell, smidig och väldigt bra kommunikation. Allt flöt på super smidigt. Vi fick även många bra tips på saker att se och lokala restauranger. Kan verkligen rekommendera Melanias lägenhet och kommer definitivt bo här igen nästa gång det blir Palermo.

Un séjour parfait dans le cœur de Palerme ! L’appartement, situé dans le quartier de la Kalsa, est idéalement placé pour explorer le centre historique à pied. Spacieux, calme, décoré avec goût, on s’y sent tout de suite chez soi. Mention spéciale à Francesca pour sa grande disponibilité et sa proactivité : elle a répondu à tous nos messages rapidement et nous a offert d’excellentes recommandations pour les visites et les restaurants. Un vrai coup de cœur !

We stay in early June, The apartment is very well located, right at the Teatro Massimo, it is well maintained and looks exactly like the pictures. The location of the apartment is near a lively restaurant alley. The apartment is in walking distance to all tourist landmarks. Renzo was very responsive and answered questions very quickly. Also provide a number of suggestions for eating. If you fly into Palermo airport suggest you use the Taxi ride share as it is only 8 Euro per person to the city and we got dropped off on Via Roma right at the end of the apartment's street. Taxi Ride share is near where you catch the buses at the airport. Recommend Staying at Renzo's apartment, great apartment and location

Hemos estado fenomenal. 100% recomendable. El apartamento es precioso y tal y como se indica en las fotos. En pleno centro histórico y sin embargo silencioso. se duerme muy bien. Angelo es un encanto súper disponible desde el primer minuto y nos ha dado muchas recomendaciones muy válidas. Sin duda, volveremos!!

Giuliana and Roberta are super-friendly hosts who made everything easy for us. The apartment is beautifully presented with a tasteful mix of vintage and modern furniture, very comfortable and with everything we needed. We felt at home straight away. Some great cafes and restaurants just a few minutes walk away, this felt like a very safe neighbourhood. We'd definitely stay here again.

We wanted to explore the historic city of Palermo so chose this AirBnB because the location was perfect to visit so many places. It also looked stylish and comfortable with lovely outside views. We were not disappointed - and would return there to explore more of Palermo that we could not see this time.....not enough holiday!

The apartment is great, with well chosen furniture and everything you might need during your stay. It is well situated for all the central sites. Commication was very easy and extremely friendly. The only downside would be a bar that can be rather loud in the weekend, but measures are being taken and it should soon no longer be a problem. We really enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend this apartment!
