Great stay. Everything necessary for a short or long trip! Didn't use the pool. Would be a very easy walk to Paihia although the house is up a rather steep/long driveway.

Helen and Peter have a lovely location from which you can easily walk down into Paihia. They have thought of everything to make your stay extremely comfortable. The layout of the one bedroom suite was fantastic. Highly recommend and would stay here again on our next visit.

Helen was great to deal with, very responsive to any questions, always helpful. The cottage was extremely well presented, very comfortable bed, had everything you need. A beautiful view from the front deck overlooking the harbour. You can walk to the town centre easily, plenty of restaurants & cafes, the marina is close for cruises / tours and the supermarkets are a 5 minute drive, great location. Would definitely recommend Abri Apartments to anyone looking for comfortable, clean accommodation which is an easy walk to town. Regards Duncan & Lisa Redland Bay

Lucy is just getting started but saved us from Cyclone Tam and gave us a clean, dry, comfortable room for the night. The location is funky and convenient and Lucy is a friendly and caring host.

Great host who was very accommodating to check in times etc and overall just very responsive to our families needs. Will Definitely book again!

Richard and Lynne are fantastic hosts and their place is the perfect retreat into the beauty of nature. They provide everything you could possibly need- from coffee for your morning coffee/tea to coffee and tea, basic kitchen supplies like salt, olive oil, tea, coffee, etc. All the bath soaps , cleaning supplies, laundry and dish detergents and even spot removal for the laundry! It is super comfortable- from the bed to the sofas and living room as a whole. The front porch is amazing- great place to eat a meal or sit in the comfy chairs and have coffee while enjoying the fabulous view. We even used the grill which was great too. I could go on and on about why this place is wonderful. Just book it. You won't regret! And the area is beautiful to explore- the five waterfalls to walk to, nice town of KeriKeri and easy to get to the rest of the Bay of Islands.

Of all the places we've stayed around the world, Richard & Neil's place stands out. Mangonui is, of course, a fabulous location with Coopers beach a short walk away, the stunningly beautiful harbour, the little wine bar and fish & chip shops. But the little cottage is divine. Clean, everything works, super comfortable bed and pretty, private garden. We loved sitting on the deck as the sun went down with glass of wine (which was complimentary) amngst the birdsong. Great stay we *cannot recommend it highly enough*.

best little hook up to paihia ever!! at the end of a cul de sac and super chill. would recommend to anyone , thanks a lot !!!!!

We stayed in this beach house for a month. What a great place - location, amenities, proximity to Russell. The ocean is right across a quiet road and is always there for a swim. The kitchen was overstocked with pots, pans, and utensils - everything we needed. Sheree and Nicole were great - communication and response. We absolutely loved this place and are already making plans to return. Ten stars!

Our stay at Roxy’s place was exactly what we were after, peaceful, private and absolutely stunning views. The property had everything we needed, and we were able to really relax and enjoy the rural surroundings. It’s close enough to Coopers Beach to access any essentials, but far enough away to make you feel in a world of your own. We spent some time travelling about the Northlands and also had a couple of days where we didn’t leave the property, relaxing on the deck was a favourite way to spend some sunny days. If you are looking for peace and quiet in stunning surroundings, then this is the place to be. Thanks, Roxy, for being an amazing host and sharing your piece of paradise with us.

Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

It is a fabulous place to stay for families and the additional equipment that they have for the families to use is amazing. The setting is glorious and outlook is stunning. The Bay its self is very safe for children to undertake water activities. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with additional options for linen because of the rainy weather conditions. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay again.

Review We rented Karen’s house for a multigenerational family holiday. It was just what we were after. Clean and well appointed with great communal spaces both inside and out, as well as plenty of space for people to get some down time. The location is incredible and the photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the surrounding bush or the beach on your doorstep - with other stunning beaches just a short walk away. Our family made great use of the spa and the kayaks, had some amazing surf sessions, and spent a lot of time exploring. It is such a perfect place to get away from it all. Karen was a fantastic host. Excellent communication and she went above and beyond to help us out and make our stay more comfortable. For example, when the weather made drying the many towels we were using every day impossible, Karen did load after load of laundry for us. We’re all keen to go back - hopefully when the weather’s better - and would highly recommend to others.
