If you’re looking to replenish your soul, enjoy Mother Nature and for a kid friendly place, this cabin is for you! My large family stayed two nights and were so impressed by its views, size and generous amount of canoes/tubing/games/cookware/towels. Neat as a pin too. My fav place in the house? The peaceful covered front porch with scenic views. Loved the fire pit as well. The host, Hap, provided ample wood to burn. We would come here again in a heartbeat!

My family was thrilled with their peaceful retreat in the mountains. Brenda made my mother’s birthday an enjoyable and unforgettable weekend. She made sure to hang a birthday banner for her, provided clear and thorough instructions on how to use all the amenities and the house was well-equiped with everything that a family needs. My family and I will definitely be coming back. The scenery is beautiful, quiet and spacious. We are eternally grateful for an amazing experience and happy to have spent some time away from the busy and loud city. Thank you!

I have stayed at several homes in the local area and Robinson River Retreat did not disappoint. From first inquiry to check-out Laura was very responsive and accommodating with my questions and check-in information. The house is better than the pictures online and descriptions were spot on. I was really impressed by the size of the rooms and even though we didn't have a full house can easily see that 10 people would be very comfortable and not crowded. It was too cold to swim but I did check out the swimming hole across the street. I'm hoping to try it out when the weather is warmer. There is so much to do in the local area, from boundary access hiking SNP to vineyards, local history, activities at Graves Mountain or just chill out and do nothing. We were so very pleased with this home. A five star is hard to hand out but this home got it! This is a pet friendly home which you would not even know the house was so clean had no smells of pets. The pictures were accurate the views were amazing. We loved the area the town was quaint the local restaurant were very good. The hot tub was crystal clean. Rules were clearly and cutely posted made our stay very simple. 5stars for sure

This home was just what we needed. It was super conveniently located and the number of beds and bathrooms fit our needs as well. Beds and linens were very comfortable and better than we expected. Easy process and Katie was always very responsive if we had a question. Highly recommend.

The house was exactly as described, and the location provided a very quiet stay in the countryside near Shenandoah national park. Amelia was incredibly responsive and gave thoughtful recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Lindsey was a terrific host. She gave very clear and thoughtful instructions on how to check-in, providing instructions with pictures in case signal was bad, a book with a lot of recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The place looked exactly how the pictures showed it, spacious, clean and very private. The kitchen had anything and everything you might need to cook. The hottub worked great, the WiFi was slower than that what you might have at home, but worked fine nonetheless. The location is close to a nearby town Luray and about less than an hour for any trails in Shenandoah. Overral would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay!

This was the perfect weekend getaway for our girl's trip. The house is so warm and inviting with many extras. The saltwater pool was the icing on the cake and make our trip over the top. Lots of gorgeous gardens, shaded seating on the back porch allowing views of cows, pastures and the vineyard next door. We loved the house and highly recommend it. Thank you, Laela!

Taki's place was perfect for a group of 13. There is plenty of space to spread out in the various houses and outdoor spaces on the property. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for a chilly weekend! The main house was also a great space for all of us to share meals. We also had a great time taking walks around the area - would definitely recommend and book again!

overall the stay was wonderful only complaint was the hot water smelled like metal which I'm extremely sensitive too so it was a strugglebto get my kids bathed.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Close enough to all the hikes we wanted to do. Pet friendly (huge for us) and beautiful views! Please make sure you read the whole listing, as you definitely need a vehicle with 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway. We brought our own towels, sheets, and so on as stated and everything else we needed was available. Would recommend bringing dish towels. We had forgotten them this trip. Cooking pots and pans are little outdated but they’re just fine! We had a wonderful taco night anniversary dinner at the cabin and throughly enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub. There’s a very nice above ground pool also but it was too cold this time of year to swim in. I would definitely stay again!

This place is absolutely delightful! My family and I adore this place immensely. Countless incredible memories were made at this stunning abode. It truly felt like a second home to us. We enjoyed it so much that we will most likely return every year if circumstances allow. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

My family and I stayed at GracieLand Farm in Luray, Va in December 2024. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our stay was nothing short of amazing! We truly enjoyed the property and accommodations so much that we didn’t leave to do anything outside of the home we simply enjoyed our loved ones and the beautiful home. The home was clean, cozy and comfortable; it pretty much had everything we needed. Our two dogs enjoyed themselves as well. Mary the host was wonderful and thought of everything which made our stay super enjoyable even down to having treats on hand for our two dogs. She was friendly, very responsive and checked in to ensure we were good! There was a detailed binder that contained everything from QA about the house to the local attractions. My only complaint is the weekend was too short! I can’t wait to go back in the Spring/summer to enjoy the pool.

We wanted to spend a few days in a private spot to relax and reflect after our wedding and it was the perfect place to do just that. The views are incredible and it’s very private and the hot tub was a nice amenity. Even as the fog rolled in for a few of the days, we felt like we were high up in the clouds and secluded from everything which is exactly what we needed. We will definitely book this cabin again!

Beautiful house and surroundings. Very peaceful and private. The cedar smells in the hot tub and in the bathroom were such a nice touch. It was kind of hard to find in the dark, but just follow the provided directions.

We absolutely loved our stay at the rustic reserve! Check in was a breeze and the place was cozy and clean. The grounds are so lovely and our dog enjoyed lots of walks around the farm. There were also some sweet kitties that greeted us too! It’s close to Shenandoah and Luray which was nice. And Cassandra and Lindsay were super responsive and helpful! We had a great time and would absolutely recommend this place.

Norean’s Place “The Gramophone” was excellent. Everything was just as described. Easy to access door entrance, Beautiful scenery, very peaceful and comfortable. Everything was definitely perfect and exceeded my expectations. It’s deep in the woods in a community where you are away from your worries. The amenities were easy to access. And most importantly SHE IS AN EXCELLENT HOST! We will definitely rebook again in the future and I recommend this place to anyone.

This place was stunning! Very intimate and beautiful views all around. Right near several trails and the cutest little shops! Cant wait to go back!

Besides the above, the place had an excellent internet connection with multiple outlets in both the bedroom and living area. Lots of small details throughout that showed a lot of thought went into providing comfort to whoever stayed there. Its appreciated.

We were overwhelmed by Mary Ellen’s yurt!! It was exactly as described and was in pristine condition. We felt completely immersed in nature while still having all of the comforts of home. There is just something about being surrounded by mountains and wildlife but having AC and a relaxing hot tub!! She was quickly responsive, provided excellent recommendations from restaurants to hiking trails and even provided a couple of surprises for our toddler. We are already discussing our next stay because we will definitely be booking again. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better place to stay even if I tried🤎

Loved this Airbnb! I visit the Shenandoah Valley often, and this has been my favorite stay so far. The location is perfect — close to the park, local towns, and wineries, yet peaceful and relaxing. We made full use of the deck, hot tub, and fire pit each evening. The cozy bedding and thoughtful extras made it feel extra welcoming. Having our dogs with us was the icing on the cake — they felt right at home, and so did we. I’ll definitely be back!
