We loved our stay in this cozy, rustic farmhouse in the most picturesque and peaceful location! Highlights: huge meadow for the dogs to enjoy, 3min walk to the Shenandoah River for a riverside fire, beautiful views of the mountains from the porch by day and of the stars from the hot tub at night.

Perfect stay for our group of 12 - exactly as described, this is not luxury but it is comfortable and easy and well laid-out. Everything exactly as described.

We had an amazing stay at the Miller House! The way Dawn cared for and improved the house and the property is inspiring! The house is well equipped. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the living room setup is perfect. We loved sitting out on both the front porch and the patio in the morning and at night. It was chilly outside at night, so the fire pit was a nice touch, with plenty of stargazing opportunities. The gas fireplace in the living room is also very easy to operate and gives even a cozier feeling. The way the house was renovated and decorated kept the farm house feel, and gave us a real taste of country living. We loved waking up to the sunrises, and walking around the property. Every corner of the property and the house is picture perfect (we took so many pics!) Overall it was a great vacation/family reunion for us and we really enjoyed the farm house/country life feel this house provided. We would love to come back in the future!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Eileen's. Her home was beautiful. The amenities she provided was above and beyond other places I have stayed. We loved the fresh eggs we were able to purchase. The home was warm and cozy on the cold nights. We used both the fire pit and the hot tub. They were both great. If we are in the area again we would definitely book again.

The Sun Dancer Lodge has the most wonderful views! Not hard to find, yet so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room and Darden was a responsive and helpful host! We'll look to come back next year!

This cabin and location were as peaceful and relaxing as they come! It’s close to Shenandoah National Park if you’re looking for some hikes or other outdoor activities, but it’s a perfect place to just hang out in nature and relax. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to go back!

My fiancé, pup, and I booked this place for a relaxing valentine’s weekend getaway, and we got exactly that! The cottage was charming and such a peaceful oasis with the beautiful views and farm animals in clear sight. The hosts were kind enough to leave us farm fresh eggs, muffins, and valentine’s themed chocolates — all were delicious and well appreciated! Additionally, they were very responsive and extremely friendly :) My fiancé and I spent time cooking dinner together, I baked, and watercolored, it was a lovely time! I highly recommend this place and hope to be back!

This place is a great getaway for those who want a peaceful place to disconnect. We loved the rustic cabin feel and being able to walk out to the pond and fish. Jane was very responsive and helpful the entire trip. We would absolutely recommend to anyone. Would love to book this again in the future!

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

We had a wonderful stay at Donna’s beautiful Blue Ridge cabin! The home is nestled on a peaceful farm with gorgeous mountain views, perfect for our family getaway. The house was even better than expected: spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the weather couldn’t have been better! Donna was incredibly kind and responsive, with super clear instructions for check-in, check-out, and pool care. Just a small note for future guests: the home is on a working farm with cattle nearby, which we actually loved watching and thought added to the charm! But as with any farm setting, that does mean some natural farm smells and bugs here and there. Donna is very transparent about this in the listing, and it’s just part of the experience of staying in such a peaceful, rural setting. We had a great stay here! Culin gave us a lot of recommendations for things in the area and was very responsive. The house was clean and area was great for our dog and young son.

We absolutely loved our stay at the rustic reserve! Check in was a breeze and the place was cozy and clean. The grounds are so lovely and our dog enjoyed lots of walks around the farm. There were also some sweet kitties that greeted us too! It’s close to Shenandoah and Luray which was nice. And Cassandra and Lindsay were super responsive and helpful! We had a great time and would absolutely recommend this place.

Beautiful property and view . Host was very responsive when we locked ourselves out of our Apt . Apt as beautiful , clean and cozy . Nice porch great yard to walk and sit by fire pit. Recommendation for dinning out was great and food and service a delight . Very friendly area as we visited stores and attractions . Lovely enough we stayed an extra day and that was just an easy request with the host!

House lovely and made a great place to stay for my group of 6. There was plenty of space and everyone was comfortable. Location was very close to Luray, Shenandoah and Skyline drive. Overall great stay!

Great secluded spot in a country atmosphere, but close to town and the National Park. Nice touches like the fire pit with hanging swing chairs, nice living room furniture/design, well stocked kitchen, and relaxing hot tub off the back porch. Super fun game room/TV room downstairs, we enjoyed the pool table. Horses, cows, and sheep on the farm behind the house gave it a fun vibe. Great spot

If you’re looking to replenish your soul, enjoy Mother Nature and for a kid friendly place, this cabin is for you! My large family stayed two nights and were so impressed by its views, size and generous amount of canoes/tubing/games/cookware/towels. Neat as a pin too. My fav place in the house? The peaceful covered front porch with scenic views. Loved the fire pit as well. The host, Hap, provided ample wood to burn. We would come here again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed the amenities at the house. It had a really nice outdoor space. Lots of entertainment available in the game room. The house was clean, spaciuis and comfortable. Short drive to Shenandoah National park.

We had such a wonderful and blessed. time. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Our host was awesome and available at all times. We can’t wait to come back and stay for a week. It’s worth it!!!

This house is downright wonderful. Everything is beautiful, clean and cozy. It is all just as it should be. The host was perfect: accommodating, thoughtful, and friendly. The surroundings sublime, with peace oozing out of every square inch of the house and property. There is a creek behind the house that is the icing on the cake. Wow.

The cabin is gorgeous! It’s taken care of and everything was super comfortable! We loved the privacy and especially loved that the tap water was fresh and filtered! We were sad about the EV charging situation as it wasn’t made clear that it was an extension cord from the house. We hadn’t brought our adaptor to charge our car and that would have been helpful to know it wasn’t an actual charging station as that’s why we chose the place. Perhaps clarify that in the accommodation details? But other than that we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cabin and surrounding areas immensely! Jim and Lisa provided lots of information about the area and that was extremely thoughtful and helpful!

9 retired Marines gathered for a weekend getaway to tell tall tales, float and fish the South Fork of the Shenandoah, and enjoy the amenities of Nora’s cabin. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The home is actually larger than it looks in the photos and easily accommodated us. Nora’s communications were clear, quick, and extremely helpful. We had a great weekend, caught plenty of fish (including a Musky!) and look forward to next year! Thanks again!

The cabin is very well kept and the place was super clean, organized, and ready to receive us. The location is great if you are looking for a secluded cabin with basically no human neighbors in sight (only 2-3 lights far away through the trees). Bathing on the hot tub at night with a starry sky was awesome. The kitchen is very well equipped and they do offer you more spices than the basic ones they listed (oil, salt, pepper). We ran out of time to use the movie room (separate construction) but it looked great. Overall, we would be very happy to come back! Thanks for having us ^^.

beautiful river spot in a peaceful area. House was very comfortable for 2 small families and river access was great! All of the extras like tubes, kayaks, canoe and game area were wonderful, helpful amenities! We will return!
