Holiday rentals with a kayak in Page County

The location was perfect with the river and Mountain View’s. The back porch is the most comfortable spot to relax!! The house was super spacious, perfect for multiple couples or a family trip. They were super responsive when we asked about checking in early. Would definitely recommend for a great trip.

This was our second time renting with Gary and it definitely did not disappoint! Gary takes incredible care of his houses and is very responsive. Both times I have stayed at his homes, my family and I are very comfortable. The area is also absolutely gorgeous- bonus that there is an icecream shop super close to the house! Highly recommend.

Shiloh Lodge, which my friends and I have renamed, Chateau Shiloh, was everything we could have hope for and more. Sadly, it rained 3 of our 5 days but it didn’t matter. This home was so comfortable and welcoming and relaxing; we didn’t care we were rained in. There were puzzles and games and books and great streaming services to keep us occupied. However, we barely used those amenities. We spent those days cooking and talking and sitting in the rocking chairs looking out the sliding glass doors and watched and listened to the rain, watched the wild life and of course, looked out at the beautiful mountains and the river. If you need a place of peace of mind, body, and spirit renewal, Shiloh Lodge is the place. We thank you so much, Diana , for such a wonderful experience. Take care.

We had a wonderful stay with a full house of 10, but it never felt crowded. Plenty of room to hang out and the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept on! The kayaks were a great bonus and there 2 boat launches very close to the house. We loved the outdoor spaces and the ceiling fans on the deck made the space so comfortable. The only downside was there wasn’t any pantry space to unpack food, there are more dishes than you’ll ever need!

Stayed at the cozy European Cottage for a weekend getaway. It met all expectations! The hosts are very attentive and made the process so easy- from booking, to arrival expectations, to continued availability while there. The home was a quick drive to the Caverns (15 min) and right across the street from Arrowhead Lake. We used the provided kayaks on the lakes and sat outside watching the deer at night. We had little ones so didn’t go for a hike but there are many options for that since the home is in the heart of the Shenandoah mountains. We hope to visit again soon. Thank you for a great time with all the comforts of home!

We enjoyed our stay! If we are ever in the area again we would highly consider staying again. This house is in a remote area and the cell service isn’t great, so we recommend downloading a map of the area on Google maps so that it doesn’t go blank on you because of the service in the area. We enjoyed how private the house was and that there was plenty to do at the house. Our kids enjoyed the swing set.

The holly cottage was exactly as the listing described. It was easy to find and close to crozet. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Place was very new feeling and clean beds and furniture. Host was very helpful and responsive and actually cared. Overall great little home in a great little area close to nature and at the end of a very private road. My only complaint was the house next door was also an Airbnb (wife looked it up) and it is a larger one and there was a large family get together of sorts and took away from some of the private feel with their music. That was just luck though - Great please to stay if you're in that area.

A lovely house in a beautiful spot on the shenandoah river. The hot tub overlooking the river is especially great.

Wow I don’t know where to start. We first chose this beautiful place for two weeks and couldn’t help but extend another weeks stay. This home is positioned perfectly away from others with the river easily accessible behind the property. My partner and I found so many nearby trails to explore including an abundance of nearby farms to see the local animals. The Mountain View’s surrounding the area were breathe taking! About a mile from the property were some very tasty restaurants. We are from Jersey and Sal’s Italian made us feel right at home. There were stores under 15 minutes away allowing hassle free shopping while escaping back to the secluded cabin. Kinga was beyond helpful during our stay. She responds within a reasonable time and was very attentive. We will absolutely return to this getaway cabin again. You will get the best of every world at this beautiful home.🩷

My husband and I and our 1 year old met my parents here for Mothers Day weekend, and it was just as past reviews said… WONDERFUL!! The house is clean, charming with river views, inserted into nature and fully stocked (including travel cribs, high chairs and baby books). We had the best time enjoying grilling, the fire pit, the hot tub each night and watching the sunset from the top deck or dock down at the water. Path to water = steep but my parents in their late 60s (and carrying a 1 year old) did just fine taking their time. Though they did max out at 2x round trips :) Definely rent the pontoon!! We did for 1 day and felt that was plenty. We didn’t leave the house for 4 days and loved every minute. From yoga on the porch, to fishing with some cheap fishing gear purchased at Walmart 20min away. We took walks, my husband explore the riverbank for arrowheads. Tons of books to read at property!! We saw wild turkey, red fox, lots of deer. 100% coming back!! Frank and Grace are GREAT!!

The Overlook was absolutely perfect. Rolling River Holiday Farm was expansive and having the opportunity to checkout the wildlife, river, and breathtaking views was unmatched. We were blessed to have a true experience not just a getaway. The layout of the home was spot-on with breathtaking views of the river and mountains. The downstairs was cozy and furniture was very comfortable. Private location even without leaves on the trees which is exactly what we were looking for. Wonderful host who had the home shinning and I really appreciated the super clean linens and thoughtfulness of having the lights on when we arrived. Can’t wait to come back!

This charming little cottage is a wonderful bonus rental to the main house. Though I had not originally rented this cottage when I rented the main house, at the last minute, I had extra guests that needed accommodations and John was able to rent the cottage on very short notice. The cottage was clean and ready for an early check-in in record time and my guests were very happy with this sweet cottage. A beautiful location that is such a lovely spot for a getaway or special weekend trip. A nice little taste of country life for all who come to the Shenandoah Valley.

Christine and Lyon were the best, kindest hosts. When my fiancé and I saw this listing we knew it would be the perfect location for our small, intimate wedding ceremony. We stayed for 2 nights and couldn’t have had a better time. While the location is a bit remote there is so much to do on the property- swimming in the river, tubing, kayaking, fire pit, and hot tub. We weren’t bored for second and would love to come back to use the amenities again sometime. Christine and Lyon were so patience with us as we planned our ceremony and answered every question we had. They were so accommodating and made sure our ceremony was special. The property is stunning with the mountains in the background. It was like a dream. I can’t say enough nice things. My dream stay and dream hosts!

We had a fantastic stay at Riverfront! The location is perfect—secluded and peaceful, just steps from the Shenandoah River, but still close to great towns, trails, and river floats. The cabin was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the A/C kept things cool, and the fast Wi-Fi and EV charger were much appreciated. We loved the hot tub, the enclosed patio with river views, and the cozy touches like the gas fireplace and fully stocked kitchen. Everything worked perfectly. A truly relaxing and well-thought-out retreat—we’d love to come back!

Our family trip was amazing here! We were minutes from Luray Caverns, Restaurants, Live Music, and any outdoor activity you could think of! The home made our stay convenient and fun with boats, floats, and views of Shenandoah Valley like no other. We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely loved our stay at the evergreen cabin. Felt right at home. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make & eat our meals at the cabin! Our kiddos loved their bedroom. The views are beautiful. 4x4 is handy for getting to the cabin especially in inclement weather.. including heavy rain. They provide a lot & it makes staying there super easy. Everything was really great & Evergreen is so far our favorite cabin we’ve rented to date.

Wonderful stay and great host. House is nice with a great screened in porch and backyard. Plenty of room for dogs to run around. Had a lot of success fishing in the river behind the house.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin by the river. The location is quiet and peaceful—perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all. I loved listening to the sound of the river at night and watching the mist in the morning. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. This is a great spot if you enjoy nature, reading on the porch, or just slowing down

This place was amazing!! The most well stocked place I've ever been to, it had everything you would ever need. You really only have to bring yourself lol. It had everything you could think of from q-tips to fishing poles!!! Definitely recommend, it was beautiful and huge. Kind of on the expensive side but well worth the money, I'd definitely come back. We had so much fun and it was so much for the husband and kids to do to keep them busy. I was so happy just to stay in the house and be left alone on Mother's Day weekend while they all had a blast 😂 The river is beautiful and the canoes were a great idea, we didn't want to leave. Bed's weren't my cup of tea but the shower was amazing. I really liked how the kids can stay on one side of the house and my husband and I were on the other side so you can still have some privacy. The road there is pretty rough and it takes a long time to get to the house but the seclusion was worth the ride. Definitely get this place if you can✅

We had a fantastic stay! The home was clean, cozy, and spacious—perfect for our group. With 7 very comfortable rooms, the house had plenty of space for everyone, and we never felt crowded at all. The hot tub was definitely a highlight—such a great way to relax after a day of activities. It was also great to have firewood available, which made the evenings even more enjoyable. Overall, everything was just as expected, and we left feeling refreshed and happy. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back!
