I had the most delightful stay! The family were all lovely, including Blue🐶. Mark gave me an excellent tour of the place. He, Cathy and Jarad have me such a warm welcome . The place was peaceful and felt just like home. I was very comfortable and slept well!! I’d been travelling for a while and this was the perfect spot to spent a week recouping and working remotely. I will definitely be back! Thank you all so much.✨

Beautiful home and a great space for a family or small group. Located just down the road from botanical gardens in a gorgeous neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed. Our group included a couple of small kids so we appreciated that there were plenty of at-home activities when we were not out and about in Cape Town (pool, hot tub, playground, smart TV, books). Wish we could’ve stayed longer — hope to come again!

This cottage is perfect! Spacious, quiet, loaded with everything you need, easy to cook, great bed, warm shower, safe, and private. Megan is such an amazing host. She proactively provided all the information I needed and was super responsive, kind, and friendly. This location is ideal to get in and out of town easily as well as to the airport, gardens, and universities. It is an ideal retreat to write, read, and rest after adventures! Uber is easy from the cottage to anywhere as well, and it is very close to shops. The value is unbeatable, and I would never stay in a hotel again. Thank you Megan for a fantastic retreat.

Lovely cottage at the top of Gordon’s Bay. All we needed for a night stay over. Well equipped with everything needed, and Sarita was really flexible in allowing us to stay a bit later after a race we did in town

cute and cozy, i had a wonderful stay - wish i could’ve stay longer! very peaceful and close to the beach/tidal pool. the space is very comfortable and homey, you won’t want to leave.

We escaped the city for Rose Cottage early on in our holiday, I was in need of the quiet serenity of the suburbs and Anthea’s home met all my needs and expectations. A slice of heaven in leafy floral Bischopscourt - just off from the Botanicsl Gardens. The perfect peaceful home to get away from the hustle and bustle, gorgeous pool area - and we LOVED Jordy the little dog coming to see us on a morning. We felt totally at home. My stay at the place was warm, comfortable and very rewarding for the mission I was on during the short period. I recommend anyone requiring a beautiful and peaceful stay to consider this cost effective option.

It was an amazing place, with an amazing view. The only issue was the strong winds of Cape Town. But you can not let that take away from the good time we had. Angela is a great host I would definitely return.

Waking up to a view of Table Mountain and Nicky’s beautiful garden - bliss! Being on the Alphen Trail (for walking and running) - double bliss! If you love being surrounded by greenery, with a hadeda or two in the garden, and the occasional glimpse of Nicky’s charming ridgeback and dachshunds, book Francolin House. As a born-and-bred southern suburbs local believe me when I say, it is the ideal base for exploring this side of the mountain. Some of the Cape’s oldest vineyards are on your doorstep with more superb walking and the most delicious restaurants and delis. Further afield there’s Tintswalo in Hout Bay (think 5 star Michelin-style tasting menu with tables metres from the Atlantic). For old-fashioned Cape Town charm you can’t beat the Fasle Bay coast. Cape bean-to bar chocolatier Honest Chocolate has an outpost in Kalk Bay. Go for the almond choc cheesecake, pocket a few handcrafted chocolate bars like the fynbos, rooibos and naartjie. Second time we have used this property. Jasmina is incredibly welcoming and responsive and she made sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and well located stay with a top tier host. Will certainly return.

Friendly hosts and you have your own space at the cottage. The location is perfect in a nice friendly neighborhood! Will definitely be back!

It was very pleasant experience to stay at La vie est Belle. The private unit was perfectly maintained with lovely personal touches. No need to bring your own coffee, tea, milk or cookies. We will be back💐

I had a great stay at Tiffany and Ricky’s place. The apartment was clean and matched the listing. Check-in was easy, and the hosts were flexible with timing, which helped a lot. The kitchen was well-equipped. I personally liked the waterfall shower and the private outdoor sitting area. It's close enough to central Stellenbosch to explore the nearby restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We loved this Airbnb! We felt very safe and comfortable with the location. So glad we decided on this one. It was centrally located and a nice area. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the mornings. We rented a car and enjoyed having that to drive to other parts of Cape Town. The apartment itself was so nice. It was cozy but not cluttered. It was so clean!! And we enjoyed the lighting and textures throughout that truly made it feel like home. We kept saying “We would totally live here”. The bed was comfortable and the shower was delightful!! Andreas was very nice-meeting us upon arrival and was always available if we needed him. We would definitely recommend this space. It was our first time to South Africa and this apartment added to our absolutely lovely time. We didn’t want to leave.

Superb, homely and memorable!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house itself was spacious (even more so than the photos), clean and beautifully presented. The beds were comfy and with lovely linen, there was a well equipped kitchen, we loved the outside fire pit area and we really enjoyed the views. The location was great, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and restaurants, but just far enough away to be quiet and private. We would definitely recommend this Air BnB and hope to stay again.

Lovely and comfortable cottage. Private entrance, clean, comfortable and lovely amenities. Great location for what we needed, ie getting around in the Southern suburbs. Parking is on the street, but the area seemed safe and we had no issues.

What can I say but very positive words? The location was ideal but the best of this place in Cape Town is by far Pelle and Pernilla themselves. They are very attentive, welcoming and excellent knowledge of things to do. They gave us a very warm welcome and excellent recommendations that made our experience of Cape Town even much better! Will definitely look forward to returning!

Nolene is an absolute super host - her generosity and thoughtful touches made my stay truly special. The cottage is conveniently situated in a quiet suburb within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The cottage is perfect in every way with everything one could possibly need and the peaceful garden added such a wonderful sense of privacy and calm. I hope to visit again.
