Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Oxfordshire

We had a beautiful stay at Vanessa’s place. It was clean, tidy, and just what we needed for a little break in the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Patricia and Alastair were the loveliest and most thoughtful hosts—so communicative, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. There were so many personal touches around the house that made our stay extra memorable. The house itself is gorgeous—beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds and plenty of inviting spaces to relax in. We were in town for a wedding locally at Hadsham Farms, and following advice from Patricia, arranging transport with the local taxi firm was a breeze. Very good spot to stay if you are at a wedding over that way. I've stayed in many Airbnbs around the world, but this place is my absolute favourite—thanks to Patricia and Alastair, who are truly exceptional hosts. I’m already planning to coming back for a weekend getaway later this summer/early autumn! Thank you both so much for such a wonderful experience—we truly appreciated every moment.

We stayed at Acre Lodge over the late May bank holiday and it was brilliant. The lodge is clean, well laid out and with all the amenities and equipment you need for a restful stay. The fixtures and fittings are all great quality and the hot tub is good fun. The Mason Arms is a five minute walk away and a fantastic pub for food, service and atmosphere. Janet was a great host, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly recommend The Little Forge for a stay in the Cotswolds - it was so pretty, peaceful and the hot tub was a bonus! We stayed here for our mini moon after our wedding for a bit of rest and relaxation and got just that! Kelly gave us super clear instructions of where to park and how to get in - all really easy. The cottage itself is really pretty, has all the home comforts you could possibly need as well as being in walking distance to a great pub with delicious food and really good service. It was peaceful and relaxing - Kelly had thought of all amenities you might need during your stay - it felt like a home away from home. The cottage is a great base to explore lots of the Cotswolds - we enjoyed Stow-on-the-Wold, walk no. 4 in the "40 walks in the Cotswolds" book, Cowley Manor Experimental for an afternoon spa trip and The Feathered Nest. We loved our stay - would love to come again some time! Thank you!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at The White Cottage, facilities are great. The kitchen has everything you need, excellently equipped. We liked the fact there is a downstairs bathroom as well as an upstairs one with a bath.

Just arrived back home from a two night stay at Keepers Cottage with our 4 month old baby and Cocker Spaniel. The cottage is beautiful and so cosy! A really lovely place to stay in the perfect location in the Cotswolds. The garden was totally secured which was perfect for the dog, he had a great time too! Amelia was a great host and was on hand for anything we needed and very responsive. We were able to arrive earlier than expected and were able to leave a bit later too which was so helpful with the baby. We will definitely be returning!

We loved the cottage and location to the town. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Only drawback was the access. Was a choice of parking in an alley which already had a car parked in it on our arrival.....and the road had double yellow lines so that was out. So we parked round the back of the propety but had to go up about 20 steps to get our luggage up. This was hard for us as I'm an astmatic and we are both elderly. Other than that it was perfect.

The amenities in this accomodation are excellent, considering it is a studio. It is comfortable and quiet. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed and more! Very welcoming to us and our dog. We shall be back!

The apartment is very nice and there’s a lot of space for everyone. The beds are comfortable. We highly recommend this apartment. We kindly ask the proprietary to put a shampoo the next time.

Karyn and Iain really provided a home away from home, with everything we needed for our stay. Their check in was friendly and welcoming, the village is gorgeous and we really couldn't have asked for any more

We really enjoyed our stay in Wanborough with Clare and Nigel and the menagerie! Pixel and Bobby made sure that we settled in and kept us entertained, and Clare and Nigel were friendly and very helpful. The annex was really lovely, very clean and with lovely furnishings, etc. A short walk took us to a lovely pub (The Plough Inn) where the food was great and the staff really friendly. Maureen was the perfect host. She met us on arrival and gave us all the info we needed. She was close by if required but not intrusive. The annexe was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is ideal for exploring The Cotswolds and Moreton in Marsh has all the shops, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants anyone could need, all in walking distance. We would happily recommend this accommodation.

We have no hesitation in recommending Sue’s place. The setting for this delightful cottage is truly beautiful and quiet. After the long flight from Australia, we were so thankful that Sue arranged for us to have an early check in. We had everything we needed in the cottage including a much appreciated coffee machine. Sue has put a lot of thought into her Airbnb ….. Styling, fantastic shower and crisp white linen worth a particular mention. Communication with Sue was easy.
