Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Oxfordshire

Great place - ideal for groups of friends or family meets. Spacious communal areas including a nice outdoor area. Peaceful location, communication from host was good and the house was well stocked - over and above what would be expected. Would happily return.

We had an amazing stay at Thyme Cottage. It is an absolutely charming space with a beautiful garden - in an enchanting village with the kindest people! We loved walking from Blenheim Palace to the cottage and also enjoyed the delicious bread and jam Alison had left as a gift. This was a magical stay - thank you Alison!

We had a lovely stay at Susan’s. The house was very well equipped and the neighbourhood was wonderfully quiet. Perfectly located, this little pied-à-terre was ideal for visiting Oxford, Bath, and the Cotswolds. The parking space was extremely handy! Many thanks for the warm welcome, Susan — we would thoroughly recommend her charming little house.

The house was absolutely lovely – the perfect getaway for us and a few friends. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Phoebe was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and welcoming, even greeting us when we arrived. We’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous location, very well equipped accommodation with lots of extras. Made to feel welcome by Helen who responded to any messages almost immediately. Fantastic location for walking and some lovely places to visit. The only thing that would have been helpful in the welcome book was information on the nearest local shops for provisions and nearest supermarket, like there was for places to eat.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

The barn was absolutely stunning. Caia, I want all the details of where you got your curtains, cutlery, plates etc! What impeccable taste. The house was perfectly designed for babies and dogs as well as every detail thought about for the adults. We plan on returning every year - Was a perfect place to stay! Local food at all the pubs we went to were gorgeous to top it off 👍10/10 xxx

We had the most wonderful stay the night before our wedding. Stephanie was having some renovation work completed on the property and upgraded us to her larger property which was so kind and such a treat for us all. The house was stunning and our guests felt the same. Thank you so much!

Waking up to birds singing was marvellous. Great hiking routes around. Very cosy place. Nice area outside for coffees with a view! Thank you so much for having us, we will be back.

Salim's place is the best. It is better than what the pictures show. In many ways felt like home. Quiet neighbourhood, felt very safe. Internet is very good, when if slowed down I informed Salim and he sorted it out. There is a park 1 minute away where you can play football and kids can play as well. Finally, Salim is a very nice person who respects his guests.

The grounds around the Manor House were beautiful and peaceful. We had hired a car to get around and found it reasonably central to local restaurants and attractions. The key pad to enter the house did prove a bit troublesome initially but no problems once you knew how to use properly. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space to relax. Marcus was very easy to communicate with and very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the Manor House for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

Clive & Sylvia's cottage was lovely to stay at! Friendly and welcoming, the fresh eggs were a lovely touch and amazing as well. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will be back if we make our way over again, thank you for the lovely stay ☺️

The place and surroundings are beautiful! Peaceful and full of wildlife. I loved watching the red kites and buzzards, through the skylights. Milan was an exceptional host, so friendly and interesting , we enjoyed our chats! We were having renovations in our own home and stayed for almost 10weeks! We had everything we needed and if we asked, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Milan!

I stayed here for a month whilst working in the locally and it was lovely. Fantastic location in a quiet village, but only a short drive from Didcot. Situated right on a cycle path so great access to long walks with dogs or bike rides. The annex was well equipped with everything you could need, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Samantha was a great friendly host she allowed us to park our car and put our luggage in the annexe early as we were attending a wedding The accommodation is perfect it was clean beautiful soft furnishings and facilities Samantha had an eye for detail to enable our stay to be comfortable Welcome pack of tea coffee milk Would highly recommend We will visit again and explore the area Jane and Steve

We had the most amazing peaceful stay at the Forest Cabin! Such a special place, very well maintained, in the middle of nature but still very close to Henley. The hosts were also very responsive and helped us sort an issue with heating immediately. We will for sure be back - such a gem!

We had the most amazing time!! We absolutely loved staying in the shepherds hut and would recommend it to anyone who wants a little getaway ☺️ Richard (the hots) was very friendly and instantly made us feel welcome. He was amazing at giving us lots of suggestions for restaurants and days out!! The welcome hamper was a nice bonus too. We really enjoyed spending time in the hot tub especially at night under the stars. We can’t wait to come back again soon!!!

Lovely little Airbnb in the back of Maureen's garden. Everything looked brand new and was very clean, and we were very comfortable during our (one night) stay. The shower especially was great! Recommend & would come back.

We had a great time at Stella’s garden room retreat. All we needed for a night away in Oxford, we took a cheap Uber into the city and the no. 3 bus back which has plenty of regular stops, although to walk is only 45min so also an option! Stella was such an attentive and responsive host, the place was lovely, comfy bed, warm and powerful shower. Plenty of teas and coffee, breakfast cereals, jams, etc. We chose to have the cooked breakfast and it was lush, the homemade sourdough a lovely treat! Thank you for the warm welcome Stella, we hope to be back at some point in the near future.

Beautiful setting, loved the chickens and bees, and loved to watch the bats hunting over the pond at night! Inside the house, everything was spotless and the bed was very comfy. We would have liked the shower to be a bit bigger but everything else was spacious and roomy!

Beautiful cabin with incredible views. Footpath accessible from the back garden is perfect for a dog walk. Felt like we were out in the sticks but it was only a quick drive to many different towns and villages. Couldn’t ask for any better!

Superb accommodation. Very secluded and private and the walled garden is a lovely space, well looked after. Much appreciated by ourselves and our dog who enjoyed the safe space. The cabin was great, very clean, warm and cosy with a good size bathroom with plenty of hot water and a decent kitchen if you want to cook. Exactly as described and exactly what we wanted.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kate’s place. An absolutely amazing host, was super helpful with regards to checking in and recommendations for places to go, we would definitely come back again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and worth every penny.
