Holiday rentals with lake access in Otsego County

We had a great time! The house is great and was very accommodating to our group of 9 and a dog. The views are great from every floor. We utilized the kayaks a couple times and fished off the dock. Everyone that came on the trip was complimenting it the entire time. We hope to come back at some point in the future. Thank you! 🙂

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Scotty’s place! He was an incredible host — extremely accommodating, especially for baseball families like ours. The house was perfect: clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the necessary amenities. The location couldn’t have been better, just a quick 10-minute drive to Dreams Park. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and Scotty’s communication throughout our stay was top-notch — responsive, friendly, and helpful every step of the way. An extra special bonus was meeting Shug, the gentle giant, who made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend staying here and would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks again, Scotty!

We comfortably fit all 14 of us for our stay in this lovely home. The river it was on was a beautiful addition to the beautiful home. Host was very helpful and responsive when needed. Easy entrance into the home. Lots of space, and comfortable beds. we will definitely stay here again, and we will highly recommend this home to others staying in and around Oneonta or Cooperstown. We stayed Here for our daughters family weekend at SUNY Oneonta, it was the perfect location. Also very quiet n private as well. Thank you Host Gerald!!

What a lovely house and property! We stayed while my son was playing in the CDP tournament and I only wish we’d gotten to spend more time enjoying the house. It’s a quick and easy drive to the park and downtown Cooperstown with several good restaurants nearby. The house is just the right amount of updated while keeping all the old home charm and beautiful details! The surroundings are beautiful with wildlife and the lake steps away. The property managers were extremely responsive and quick to fix any issues we had. Very highly recommend this wonderful home for your stay!

This is a lovely family home. Unfortunate weather visited the area during our stay, and we lost power for a while. The host was extremely responsive… Told us where to find a flashlight, and apologized. there were many extra nice things about this kitchen. Teabags, coffee, filters, working appliances, etc. Would definitely rent again.

This is a lovely place to stay while visiting Cooperstown! Home is comfortable and homey with a lot of privacy. Beautiful views and very quiet and peaceful at night. This is a great option if your child is playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park. It is only a 10 minute drive to the fields and there are plenty of local restaurants within a 10 minute drive as well as two grocery stores. Nicely stocked kitchen made preparing food at home easy. Owners are responsive and helpful.

Lucy was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and always available to answer our questions. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with all the comforts of home. Nestled in a serene setting, the property offered a peaceful retreat with a charming yard where our grandkids enjoyed playing lawn games. We especially loved kayaking on the nearby lake and watching the local wildlife. Our stay at the lake house was truly memorable—a perfect vacation in every way.

If you are looking for beautiful retreat, nestled on a gorgeous, serene piece of land, not too far from things to do, look no further! Our group stayed here during our sons' baseball tournament at Cooperstown All-Star Village and we were all very glad to return here at the end of a long day and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The house was very spacious for our group of 4 couples. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided lots of great details about their house and the surrounding area.

Bernie was a great host. He met us to greet us and check us in and show us around the place because it is a little unique. The house is wonderful and oozes with history. There are a couple things about the set up of the unit to be aware of. The kitchen is completely enclosed within the house so there are no windows and no way to exhaust fumes - just be aware of this so you do not unwittingly set off the smoke alarm and disturb the neighbors in adjacent units. Also, the door to the bathroom, which is between the two bedrooms within the cottage unit doesn't lock, so you will need to come up with a system to alert your travel partners when someone is using the bathroom to avoid walking in on each other. Other than those two points for awareness, though, everything else is great. The bedrooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, the linens are pristine, the kitchen has everything you need, and the house is right by Otsego Lake and only a block from Main St. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

#3 at Trout Brook. Was perfect. Tom met us and gave us thorough instructions and told us where the best places to go eat were. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals.

Francine and Vince were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and provided many suggestions for local places to visit. The location was perfect for us since we were in town to watch our son play baseball. We were close to both All-Star Village and Dreams, which was perfect. The lake was also beautiful. My husband and I had a great time during our stay.

We loved our stay here! The apartment was very clean and updated and the rooms all stayed cool even when hot out. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts were so responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great week!

This place far exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. Interior and exterior are beautiful,clean and very well maintained. Hosts were very responsive,gave great recommendations and treated us like family. 10 out of 10 from me and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Amazing hosts that know what they are doing.

Loved this beautiful lake view home! My family was extremely comfortable there and the host was amazing. She communicated often and even gave recommendations of lots of things to do and restaurants. If you’re in that area a must stay! Thank you for making our stay so special!

Overall stay was wonderful! Kayaks, hot tub, grill, and fire pit were all great aspects of the stay! Great location for all the area has to offer!

Perfect spot for a couple plus 1. This little nest sleeps 3 comfortably. It can accommodate 4 but 3 is perfect. The nest is situated on the water and close to Cooperstown central. Quiet and private little resting area provided us with the comforts of home and convenience of adventure. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

The cottage was amazing: clean, solid construction, great water pressure and an overall beautiful home. We utilized the canoes, kayaks and paddle boards as well as the fire pit and gas grill. The beds were very comfy and there were plenty of blankets.

Erin’s home was perfect for my family’s stay. The home is right on lake otsego and the living room has beautiful views of the lake. Her home is clean and spacious. The lake access via the dock is perfect. My family and I will rent Erin’s home the next time we’re in town.

We were looking g for a place for our family of seven while our son did ASV for Cooperstown. This house was perfect to either All Star Village or Dreams Park. There were cute little amenities and the hosts went above and beyond for the little touches they had at the house. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Felt right at home. Air in each room was cold and had its own remote. Great outdoor space and use of games and fishing poles. I will recommending to all my baseball friends who are coming for the tournament.

We had a wonderful time at the lake, despite the rainy weather! We had fun fishing & playing board games in front of a warm fire. We'd love to return!

We had a great stay on the Lake. The view in the morning is the best part of the upstairs bedroom.

We were beyond pleased with our stay here. The location is beautiful and the house itself is beyond stunning. Highly recommend.

The cabin offered a peaceful and tranquil stay for our family. The lake view was my favorite! The area is quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The home offers most of the amenities we needed, just missing a washer/dryer. The only recommendation I would add is to upgrade the bed pillows and cooking pans. The current pillows are very flat and uncomfortable, and some pans were a little rusty. Overall, our stay was wonderful! Sandy was very responsive and we greatly appreciate the hospitality.
