Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Otranto

Accommodation corresponding to the photos and description, in an excellent location, a few steps and you get to the center and the beach of Otranto. There are two air conditioners, one in the living room/kitchen and the other in the bedroom, Fabio's welcome gift of two bottles of wine was much appreciated. If I really have to find a flaw, the shower is a little small for someone as big as me. 😃

What a beautifully decorated, tasteful home in Diso that Chiara has created. The exposed star vaults and wooden floors exude an air of elegance and charm as soon as you walk in. The objets, furniture and lights are curated with care and taste and the floor to ceiling windows exposing the back courtyard are exquisite. Francesco considerately brought us a table and chairs with which to sit under the mandarin tree and watch both the sun and the stars it was just a delight. They provide a cosy home in the Salento, just a stones throw to the excellent Coffee Time for a coffee and the beautiful town church. Thank you for such a peaceful stay.

Vincenzo’s apartment is just outside of the main historical centre, it only takes 5 minutes to walk in. The apartment has a parking space right outside which is perfect if you’re hiring a car, takes any hassle out of finding a space! The apartment has everything you need for a long weekend. Worth noting there are no windows - just frosted garage door windows but it didn’t bother us for the few days just using it as a base.

Martas apartment was really lovely and she was a great host! The place had everything you needed and was directly opposite the natural swimming pool. We would 100% recommend staying here!

Our stay with Stefania was amazing. The accommodation was luxurious and comfortable. Situated a mile from the old town of Lecce, easily walkable. Stefania was so friendly and helpful, she sorted out a parking fine that we had. Just to note, yellow lines on the road mean no parking unless you are a resident. Visitors use the blue parking spaces. I would recommend Stefania’s accommodation to everyone and would certainly stay again.

This house is in a beautiful part of Otranto & you are so close to everything from beaches to restaurants.

We had a great 5 days exploring the area by car. Ersilia was very responsive and gave good recommendations. The accommodation had everything we needed, with a beautiful pool and garden area. Thank you!

Masseria Del Gigante exceeded all our expectations. From the warm welcome by Chiara to the delicious food and immaculate cleaning from Ada, and the seamless support from Salvatore: every member of the team made us feel like family. We travelled with 6 adults and 2 kids and had more than enough space. Each room had its own ensuite, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The pool was absolutely spectacular, and the villa is ideally located between charming local towns and only about 20 minutes from the beaches, Lecce, and Otranto. Six nights weren’t enough, we didn’t want to leave and truly hope to return. What a beauitful and tasteful villa!

As often described, the apartment has two wonderful, well-equipped terraces, partly with sea views which we enjoyed extensively. The apartment is in close proximity to the clean city beach, the old town and many bars and restaurants. We slept very well and the apartment is above average well equipped. Only the walk from the parking lot in the heat with a large amount of luggage and the narrow stairs may be a problem for older people. Marco is extremely responsive and has given us many good recommendations, including the routes. This made our vacation even more beautiful. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to come back. We have always been well taken care of and felt comfortable.

An absolutely beautiful apartment, part of an old palace, right in the heart of Lecce. So full of character and charm. We couldn't have asked for a better location for exploring the town and the surrounding area. Clean and comfortable with air-conditioning which was great for the night time. Francesco even left us some local cakes for our arrival and was there to meet us to help us with our bags up the stairs. The roof terrace is absolutely stunning with views of the church and street below. I couldn't recommend enough. Thank you for having us ❤️

I had a great 3 day stay at Franca's apartment. There are 2 balconies with a view of the sea. I cooked dinner each night and ate with a sea view! The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is clean with a big, comfortable shower. The kitchen is stocked with lots of pots, dishes, utensils and coffee pods. The washing machine came in very handy. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from a beautiful, quiet beach and maybe 5 minutes from Otranto, it's beaches and all it offers. If you get a chance, don't miss Sant'Andrea and Torre del Orso for some really stunning scenery. I rented a moped from Chiriatti moto in town, though during the summer, there's regular bus service. I highly recommend Franca's place for your trip to Otranto and the Salento region.

Lovely centrally located apartment. Enjoyed the balcony, where it is possible to enjoy the day's walk in the historic part of Otranto. The apartment is bright, large, modern and well equipped. Good AC system in every room. Keep in mind that the apartment is not available for the location in the historic part.

Adriana was friendly, helpful and gave great restaurant recommendations. She was available for any issues we may have had.

Perfect location right in the heart of the old city and incredible views of the sea from the terrace. Best sunsets! Amazing restaurants within 1 minute walk. Directly above the beach, 1 minute walk down to the beach. The terrace is spacious and even has an outdoor shower! The apartment itself is very spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. Very comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. Some street noise at night but never an issue for us. Parking was a bit far (10-15 min walk, but those are the city rule). Very communicative, kind and helpful host. We really loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

We stayed 3 days in Otranto in Tania's house. Very good in all respects. Courtesy, cleanliness, fragrant environment and linen, spacious environment, street parking with a pass given to us by Tania and therefore free, beautiful terrace even if not used as we were always out. We recommend

Andrea was incredibly kind, responsive, and made us feel so welcome throughout our time in Italy. Very beautiful masseria, in a peaceful environment in the middle of the cicadas. the accommodation is pleasant and functional with a small private terrace well oriented for breakfast. the common areas are also very pleasant, especially the pool and the ping pong table :) Francesco and Sylvia are very friendly. Thank you to them for being very accommodating.

I had a wonderful month in Lecce, a great deal attributes to the fact that I was staying at Fausto’s apartment. I think we’ve got the best view in the city. I really like this apartment a lot. It has every good quality that’s been mentioned in the previous reviews, and more. I also wanted to thank Fausto for his prompt responses and assistance. I had some knee issues and required assistance to get me to the train station and to the right platform the day I left and Fausto did not hesitate to help. For that he has my gratitude and thanks. I hope to return to Lecce and this beautiful apartment again in the future.

Cozy apartment near the center and yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the stay very much, Domenico instructed us very well in the house rules and was always easily accessible. If we come back to Otranto, we would book the apartment again. Thank you for everything!

Max and I had a great time at Giulia's, from the first moment she made us feel at home, renovated, very clean and with everything that can be useful for a short stay or a longer stay. He gave us information about the surroundings, he always responded immediately to messages, pampered us throughout the stay! The terrace overlooking the sea of Otranto unforgettable💜!!What can I say, an unforgettable experience and we will definitely be back for the summer holidays!!
