Villa holiday rentals in Oslo

After a friendly welcome by the host with recommendations for excursions, we had wonderful and varied days in Norway. Within ten minutes walking distance there is a small lake nearby that invites you to relax and swim. Also beautiful beaches on the fjord are not far away. Oslo can be reached in a short time by car or train (we did not try) - there we enthusiastically visited the Technology Museum, the Fram Museum and the Norwegian Folk Museum and enjoyed the view and the zip line from the Holmenkollen Schanze. Other excursions to Gaustatoppen and Sweden were also very exciting. On quieter days, the children (8, 10 and 12) had a lot of fun with the toys we were allowed to use at Jostein. We (two adults and two children of 12 and 7) had great days in the great house of Mirko. Everything was as described in the listing and worked perfectly for us. The house was so nicely decorated and had everything we needed to have good days there. It was easy to walk the small walk down to the tram stop to get to the city centre and lovely to retreat to the peaceful area after days of much program. The kids were a great time with a trampoline in the garden and PlayStation inside, and we adults had coffee on the rooftop. We would love to come again!

Linn’s place was a unique and beautiful house with a small guest cottage. It was well maintained and contained everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The house is about 20-25 minutes drive to downtown Oslo (we expected it to feel farther than it was!) and walking distance to hiking trails and lakes. Linn was very responsive by text before the visit and during the stay.

We had a lovely stay. The house has a modern look, the interior is beautiful, and it’s spacious yet has a cozy feel to it. The location was perfect for us as most attractions in Oslo are about a 15 min drive but also accessible by foot, and public transit. Erik and his family were fast to respond if we had any questions and the house is well equipped. The yard has a nice patio and perfect to relax in. Jonas is a welcoming and tidy host who is easy to communicate with. The house we rented was completely according to the expectations we had. Cozy location, central but private and the house itself is very comfortable to stay in. Great with a garden you can go out in, and bring a very good cup of coffee from the coffee machine. Great stay!

A cosy and beautiful home located close to train station and buses with easy access to the centre. Oliver was very responsive and was very quick to respond to our needs. We asked about heating for one of the rooms and he immediately provided us with a portable heater and also sent someone immediately to fix the clogged shower. We highly recommend this home.

Beautiful home. 2 minute walk to a small beach. Neighborhood setting - very quiet and relaxing. 15 min from downtown Oslo. Great for large parties (we had 11 adults). Excellent hostess. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

Great location with a 180° view of the sea that is best enjoyed from the roof terrace. At most points, this house is as advertised, on the others it is better. Tor Magnus made everything possible for us to have a pleasant stay and responded immediately when we had questions.

A lovely older home, newly renovated with up-to-date modern style and amenities. Lovely gathering spaces in living, dining, kitchen and two outdoor eating spaces. Bedrooms had room darkening shades which are important in June. Great location for tourists visiting Oslo, short distance to bus and tram systems that can take you most wherever you want to go. A great variety of restaurants in the area. Our group of adults was in town for a family wedding and some sight-seeing, so we never cooked in the kitchen and instead we ate lunch and dinner out and about every day. This home is also well suited to families with kids. Christian, our host, was very nice, helpful and responsive to our questions.

This place was absolutely perfect! The villa was even better than the photos, with plenty of space and all the amenities I could ask for. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms are big and spacious. We enjoyed the library room with the pool table and the dining room with fireplace and beautiful garden outside. The location was ideal for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation. The villa itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing excellent recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay here again!

We were with seven friends for five days with Jonas and his family. In particular, we would like to highlight the location and the great views. If you want some peace and quiet but still want to see something of Oslo, it is just perfect. Go swimming in the morning, and then take the ferry 20 minutes directly to the center of Oslo. Lovely place for a good party! We celebrated bachelor parties and it was an amazing local with plenty of space and a unique atmosphere.

What a wonderful place to stay. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated with everything a family could need on their holiday. The location was perfect for Oslo city centre and Skimore for a day or two skiing. Cannot recommend this place more highly. We will definitely be back!

We had a very nice time in Oslo. The house is at the very end of a street, so we could let our children play outside completely reassured. From the kitchen to sleep and children's room, everything was perfectly equipped. There was even a room to play and a cinema screen. The pool was perfect and nice and big. We used it a lot. We could park our car directly on the property. At the supermarket there is a fast charger for our car right away. We will be happy to come back.

Perfect place for a break from the busy everyday life. Wonderful local and amenities. The stay met all the expectations (and more) and we will recommend the villa (and the host) to both known and unknown! The host was available, nice, respectable and communication was quick and good. We were written upon arrival with information about the amenities and recommendations in the local area. We really appreciated this! Check in and check out was easy and efficient. We will be back for sure, 10 out of 10 stays.
